Pretty good, but…

There are a few features that I think would be helpful for this app. Number one I think you guys should have a bigger food base where I can type in a specific type of meal and it would show the nutritional facts or I would be able to create my own meal and the nutritional facts will be dialed in automatically. And the next thing is adding body measurements. Right now it just shows that you can add your weight but no other measurements.

This app’s Apple version is stuck on the very first screen! When entering info for height, weight, etc. the app does not advance through the entries nor provide any means to do so. The number pad cannot be disabled to allow me to view my entered values. Gender and age work but not weight or height. Unable to do this first, basic task I am unable to access any of its content.

Pitalifts coaching

I signed up for coaching with Pitalifts under Coach Jess, but the reality is you barely deal with Jess directly. Instead, you’re passed around to multiple different coaches, which already made the experience feel impersonal. On top of that, the workout plans they provided were extremely disappointing. The exercises rarely changed, even after I was told they would be adjusted based on my strength and progress. Most of the time, I would just open the app to let the workouts run while I did my own training because the plans felt repetitive and ineffective. I originally signed up for a 6-month plan and was told there would be a fee if I wanted to cancel early. When I later explained that I wanted to cancel for financial reasons — especially because paying $189 a month for little to no actual coaching felt unreasonable — I was told I would still have to pay the remaining balance of the contract anyway. At that point, I felt stuck and just stayed for the remaining months since I would have had to pay regardless. Once the final three months were over, I was automatically enrolled into a month-to-month membership, despite already expressing that I wanted to cancel. When I brought it up again, they did everything except actually process the cancellation. Instead, I was encouraged to place the account on pause, which I did. Then, at the end of March, I once again clearly stated that I wanted to cancel. I was told there was a required 30-day notice or I’d be charged for another month. Conveniently, my cancellation was not “processed” until April 4th, which now leaves me responsible for yet another payment. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. A legitimate coaching program should prioritize its clients instead of making cancellation intentionally difficult and continuing to charge people after they’ve repeatedly asked to leave. There are far better trainers and coaching programs out there that actually provide value and respect their clients.

Preloaded foods is very limited and creating recipes is frustrating.

Surprised and disappointed by how limited the preloaded food is in this app. You have to use another calorie tracker and manually enter foods in. Adding recipes doesn't make any sense either. I made rice and beans and the app doesn't figure out servings by weight. It treated 1 cup cooked rice and 1 can of beans as one serving. Cannot divide up recipes by weight. Good App

Using the Lenus eHealth app as a client has been a game-changer for my fitness journey. My coach personalizes my workouts, meal plans, and habits directly in the app, and everything is easy to follow. I love being able to track my progress, check off completed tasks, and message my coach whenever I have questions—all in one place. The app keeps me motivated by showing how far I’ve come, and the reminders help me stay consistent. It’s clear, simple, and makes working with my coach so much more effective. Beware CA residents of Pitalifts

I signed up for a 4-month term with Pitalifts (on the Lenus platform), but the experience was disappointing. My workout plans were not updated for months, yet they tried to force a 6th-month 'auto-renewal' despite my clear cancellation on March 3rd (31 days' notice) They insisted on manual offboarding forms and '30-day notice' from a specific date—direct violations of California’s Click-to-Cancel laws (BPC § 17602). They only stopped the unauthorized billing after I cited legal codes and proof of notice. If you are a busy professional, be extremely careful. Document everything and know your state's consumer rights. I wouldn't recommend this service.

Overall good, could use some tweaking

The app is easy to use overall and provides an excellent platform to communicate with my trainer. As someone who develops software improvements as part of my other job activities, I have a few recommendations: - I would like an audible alert at the end of a rest period, similar to how an alert is given at the end of a timed set. Maybe a different tone to differentiate from the existing timer. - In reading other reviews, I agree that it would be helpful to pull forward weights used previously on a particular exercise when a new session is dropped by the trainer. I, too, have to look back to prior data. - Just started using the meal tracker. It froze a couple times when trying to scan barcodes, which caused me to delay starting to use the app and continue using My Fitness Pal. (I don’t have the upgrade on that app, so I can’t scan at all there, so it’s nice to have that capability again if it works). Also, I’ve noticed that the library of preloaded foods is limited compared to My Fitness Pal, and I have to do a lot of manual additions. I hope that library is being expanded, and/or manual entries by other users like myself will become searchable for use in my own log.

As soon as you email blissmode to cancel, they ghost you. I finally got a reply saying my last payment would be July 29th but then I was charged again on august 29. New to app

App for coach interface in general is good but I do think it should have a MyFitnessPal and Apple Watch integration, it only has the Apple health integration so it does track steps and but not directly from my Apple Watch so it’s a bit of long way round for a short cut. I also have to keep going to my phone to track my session and weights, which is difficult with the signal is poor at my local gym. It would be better if I could do this on my watch. SCAM

Just the usual drill with these guys, coaches scamming people and getting away with it. I was lucky enough to work with Lucy Moreno, and boy, was it a dream come true... for about 5 seconds. Their so-called "weekly check-in" was just a fancy lie. It took her an eternity (almost two weeks) to start on my fitness plan after I'd already paid, and even then, it was more waiting around for her to get back to me with answers to my questions. Oh, and don't even get me started on the "review of techniques" she promised, what a joke. I'm still waiting. And guess what? I'm still getting charged for the second month for services not rendered. When I tried to get a refund for the mess they made, both Lucy and her worker ghosted me. Save yourself the trouble. Don't sign up, don't download the app. They won't lift a finger to help you.

The app generally serves its purpose, but the workout part is super glitchy and doesn’t always record exercises as “checked.” Then when I try to go back and make edits to re-check them, the app crashes. I also think the meals portion has a long way to go, like a section to log food or being able to integrate with my fitness pal or Loseit. Bad customer service. Run from coach Hannah Bailey!

I had a horrible experience working with coach Hannah Bailey, she provided good services at first then completely ghosted all of her clients and was still charging them despite no response to any messages or emails. But she had time to go delete all of her social media and then remove us all from the app. When reaching out to the Lenus customer service for support, they weren’t any help. They told me I had to dispute charges with my bank and when asking what would happen with the coach using their platform to steal from clients, they avoided the question then said they “reached out to someone who was looking into it”. Needs improvement

Three core problems: 1. Weight stats don’t carry over to new programs. When a coach uploads a new program, users have to look back at past programs to see what they were lifting. This is substandard compared to similar apps on the market and such a simple thing to fix. 2. Still no integration into smartwatches. Again, substandard compared to similar apps. 3. Still lacks ability to auto-fill weight/rep stats per set in an exercise. Users have to manually fill these out every rep when other comparable apps just auto-fill. 4. No improvements to the above despite constantly asking users for feedback via in-app surveys.

I liked the beginning part all the explanation in the PDFs, however this is my third month and nothing has changed in the PDF regarding my macros. I have been weighting my food and even though I see differences from the beginning there is not that many changes. I guess I’m not that fat to lose weight so quick. I love the exercise section but I’m very social and busy person I can’t workout 1,5 hours for 6 days. I think that what is advertised for this program is not true😓 there is not that much of personalized support, they just post pre-filmed videos and you get your weekly video from your coach. Steadily improving with each release

For beginners it’s a straight forward experience that is great for getting you going. For more seasoned fitness folk it still needs some refinement, but I can see that they are improving the functionality with each release, which shows they have a team who care. My main improvements would be: 1. Ability to add comments during/after sessions - for my own benefit, or as feedback for my coach 2. Offline Mode - my gym has poor gym connectivity in the areas I work out. This means I can’t use the App when this happens. 3. Image optimisation - a lot of the header images are dark and some of the the back arrow is black so it’s hard to view. 4. Dashboard - very minimal, would be nice to see some additional information. Not personalised, no feedback

I think the workouts are fairly good and I’ve toned up, BUT this is something I could have done via YouTube. My coach only initiates conversation if I do an official check in, and even that is like a two second video saying “good job, what’s the plan for the week?” or something along those lines. They aren’t personalised at all. I’ve said that I can’t really jump a lot and also want to focus on building my lower body, but it’s obviously just generic workouts for anyone. Additionally, there was promise of a 1 to 1 LIVE weekly check in which I have no idea what that is. There is a once per week group zoom meeting which I can never make due to work. I talked to the coach about this who recommended I post something to find a time that would work for others who can’t make it as well as an every other week thing which I did, and then was just completely ignored and the meeting continues at the same time. There is no way to know if your form is correct because no one ever sees you doing the exercise like a personal trainer would. Really disappointed that I committed to 9 months and am not getting even half of what was promised. Lastly, I am certain that the recipes for the meal plan are AI written just to meet whatever your macros are. The food log is terrible, I add foods that I regularly eat and unless it was recently imputed, it “forgets” the food. Also the macros only count fat, carbs, protein…no fiber, sodium, etc. so I use a completely different app for that.
