Best out there
Terrifyingly fun! There really isn’t anything quite like this to play on iOS iPad. Everyone else is charging more for half the quality and time and can’t quite get that creepy true horror feel like this game does. I absolutely despise the F2P concept that all of the developers have gone to as it’s rubbish!! Thank you guys so much for bringing us a quality puzzle game at a decent price! My only gripe is that I’ve finished all the games in this series and there’s nothing else by you guys!

Unable to access game
Game appeared promising but unable to access the game. Downloaded it under my Apple ID credentials, but as soon as I opened the app it request another login. It appeared to accept those credentials, but then immediately requested new log in again, again and again. This could not be overcome, so was forced to delete it.

Bugged
The log in for my Apple ID kept popping up on the main screen. I put it in once and then it continued to pop up. I ignored it and played the demo (10/10 gameplay, by the way) without any pop ups during gameplay. So I purchased the full game. The pop ups came up on the main screen again. I deleted and reinstalled the app, same issue. So I ignored it again... had to restart the whole game over for some reason, and when I got to the end of the demo part, it hadn't recognized my purchase. I double checked that it went through, everything was good on my end. Sadly had to ask for a refund. Hopefully the bug will be fixed, I'd love to play the full version!

Gameplay issues
This game was not formatted well for my iphone15 plus screen. There was an object in the very beginning that was nearly fully hidden by the black oval where my front camera is, and then nearly every time I went to utilize an object at the bottom of the screen it would swipe out of the game. I got frustrated by this constantly happening and didn’t continue very far. Please consider adding an option to all your games to change the position of the “back” button between the left and right sides of the screen for better wrist ergonomics.

Confusing
I have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve got 22 rooms and 20 items in inventory with no idea where to go. The game barely acknowledges the iPad so I have to hammer away on the screen to get some result if there’s something even there. I am using the hints so much. Back stepping through 6 rooms sometimes even further to get to the next step. So convoluted.

Exceptional Game
I don’t generally write reviews, but this game is exceptional. It draws you in and you just can’t stop playing. I don’t want to give away too much, but if you like mysteries, point and click with an exceptional storyline then this game is for you. It kept me very involved. I recommend playing these three games in order. It’s much easier to follow the storyline. The hint system is one of the best that I’ve seen. This game is absolutely worth the money.
Won’t play
Every time I tried to play this, a window popped up asking for my account password. It shouldn’t have done that because I since I got it from the App Store. Every time I entered it, referring to the password which I had written down, one letter at a time, I told me that either my account or password was wrong. If I tap app support I get a 404.

Super jeu, avec une histoire captivante. Pas beaucoup de mini-jeu. La prise de certain objet est difficile puisque trop près de nos objets, mais sinon vraiment excellent .

Crashes on pressing start
iPad OS 17.1.2. Using a 2022 made iPad about 2 months old. Both this True Fear HD and the standard will cherish a second after I press the start button, I’m usually very impressed with Big Fish hidden object adventure puzzle games but this one won’t even start. A fix would be awesome pleas.

Awesome game. Lots of puzzles and things to find. Lost a star cause I got soooo far after weeks of playing and it glitched and deleted and started from the beginning. But still awesome. Can’t wait for the next one.

There is no conclusion to the story☹️, fun to play but a very disappointing ending, hate games that just leave you hanging, especially when you pay to play😡

Played a few times over while waiting for episode three to come out, which is also finally here. Yay. I also replayed number one a few times, but about five years back. Big fish stopped up updating the games, unfortunately.. hopefully this developer will figure out how to resell it. I would definitely buy it again

Pas vraiment jouable avec iPhone X
Les objets à utiliser se trouvent juste sur la barre de l’appareil qui permet de saisir la fenêtre pour la mettre en arrière plan ou la fermer, donc chaque manipulation en rapport avec un objet mis en bas de l’écran réduit la fenêtre, impossible donc de saisir l’objet.

Really enjoyed this game up until it required me to buy the full version. Despite having “in app purchases” enabled, the link to buy the full game keeps glitching out & doesn’t do anything, therefore making it impossible to purchase the full version. Such a shame

Best Point and Click Horror Game Ever!!! BUY IT!
I almost didn’t buy this game because I couldn’t get its predecessor to open on my iPad. But I’m sooo glad I gave it a shot anyway. It’s been worth every penny and more. The level of detail that’s gone into making this game is just astounding. If you’re hesitating to buy it, GET IT! You won’t regret it. In most games, you’ll find one or two objects in an area, solve a puzzle and that area will be done. Not this game. I loved how some actions have cascading effects so for instance, knocking over a bookcase to access a safe, then opens up a hidden drawer in that broken bookcase too. No pointless frustrating HOG scenes or match mini-games. A lot of games just focus on the puzzles and there’s little to no storyline. Again, this game does it right. There’s bits of storytelling peppered through all the areas which makes finding a new location even more interesting. That’s not to say the puzzles aren’t ample and challenging too. At first I intentionally limited my gameplay to stretch out the experience longer but I’ve come to find out I didn’t need to do that. This is a LONG game. I’ve been going for 5-6 days now with at least 2-3 hours each day. I’ve heard the 3rd part of the game series is going to be out soon and I’m going to grab that game as soon as it is. Goblinz set a high bar with this game and I just hope the next one is as good as this was.
Upside down
Part of the game is upside down where the trailer is. What gives? Makes it kind of unplayable. I paid for the full version. UPDATE...further into the game and YET AGAIN the area inside the domed building is upside down, then it will right itself and then upside down again. Not impressed.
Good and long!
Really enjoyed this game. Intricate story, lots of puzzles, nice graphics, and several hours of game play. If I had a complaint it would be that objects are quite difficult to find sometimes. I would get stuck and have to use a hint only to have it point me to a place I had already searched. I also liked that there were no hidden object scenes where you have to strain your eyes to find a bunch of items you don’t need. I will definitely buy part three!

Ich habe das erste True Fear (unter Big Fish herausgegeben) richtig genossen. Voller hoffnung habe ich den zweiten Teil gekauft. Die Ästhetik ist hervorragend. Der Eindruck, dass die Entwickler es vorzeitig released haben lässt sich leider nicht vermeiden. Teile die sich nicht bewegen (neustart des spiels erforderlich), viel zu viele Szenen mit hin und her, falsche triggers. Nicht so gut.
