Fine game
I have played this game (and MatchVenture, level 1381) for several years. I am at level 2624!
Enjoyable initially, but fatal problems
I enjoyed the Merge Venture app, and was excited about this game but found that it was heavily focused on adds for other games. Every time you finish a level you are forced into an add and they are repeat over and over. I read a response from the company to another review that was complaining about the adds, stated that any purchase would turn off the adds. I have found that is not true. I have made 2 purchases from the site, but still am getting adds. So the game is gone as far as I’m concerned.

Lost progress
I have been playing this game for over 6 months then out of the blue the game wouldn’t load up. I deleted and reinstalled and it took me right back to the beginning. I am very frustrated as I had completed 100’s of levels. Can anything be done to retrieve lost progress. Thank you
Cannot sync between devices
I love the actual game but I’m having huge issues trying to get it to sync between my iPhone and iPad. I’ve tried it with Apple and Facebook and it ends up freezing on one or both devices and will never sync. It’s frustrating that I can’t continue my progress.
Game is Freezing
The last two days the game is freezing. I can’t complete tasks or watch ads to earn moves. Will there be a fix soon?
Disappointed & ripped off
Was good until higher 50+ level then got buggy wouldn’t move on map froze so had to reinstall. BUT I had 3000 plus jewels in my bank and when it restarted I had 10. This is a huge rip off and I will be complaining to the App Store
Alright!
I enjoy this game but there are waaay to many ads if you want to play for free. They really push the in-app purchases. I also don’t enjoy the fact that I can collect all these bonuses like gold and wood and other things but I can’t seem to find where I can use them. They can’t be used for more moves or to add time. What the heck am I collecting them for?
Tedious
First few levels were fun for the novelty of it, but after that wore off it became incredibly tedious. The levels should be just a bit smaller, although some of them would be terrible no matter what. Maybe it’s just me but I go around in circles not making any progress. The map is almost useless. Especially when you pay gems or watch an ad to get rune locations and it puts them on a separate map! I even took a break for a few months and just tried it again, because I like the concept, but no, it’s still tedious and frustrating. Also, it should not allow you to fast travel to a location with no playable pieces (centered on a barrier which you don’t have the tools for). I just lost all my progress on a level getting stuck like that. It’s a shame because I think this game would be really fun if it wasn’t so frustrating.

Again the game is frozen at level 1746. I’m 40% in and can’t go any further. Please fix the bugs in the game.
The best game in years!
This is the most creative and interesting match 3 game I've ever seen! There are some puzzles that aren't match 3 as well. I haven't had any trouble with ads locking things up and I have been watching lots of ads to get more turns because I want to complete every board 100% and not just meet the goals. I don't find it to be a big deal to watch ads to get more turns and helpful bonuses so I don't spend a ton of real money. I haven't spent money yet and I'm progressing nicely. I will buy something eventually because games this good deserve the support so they can keep making content. There are a lot of things in the game to help you progress like jumping and power ups so make sure you try things out and learn how it all works. The one problem I had was getting stuck on a board where I needed to find a hidden area and couldn't find much help online. Go to one corner of a black area and jump to the diagonal opposite corner across the center and then check the map to see if any new areas are showing in the black area. And sometimes you will have to jump to a spot outside of the map boundaries. You have to "float" over the hidden areas to hopefully get a corner of it to show on the map so you can jump there after your jump recharges. Match shields to recharge the jump and match blue potions to recharge the power ups. Watching an ad when a present appears can be very helpful. Sometimes you get resources but other times it recharges a power up and once I even got more turns. Another tip since the boards are very big- you can go to the Options and Quit and it will save your game so you can finish the board later I cannot recommend this game highly enough!

Took so long to down load I gave up and deleted it before I got a chance to play it.
Fun Match-3 With a Few Flaws
Update June 2024: - I love the tree merging minigame on the over-map & wish I could play more than twice without a timer cooldown. -Still hoping for Runefall 2 will come to the app store. -Yep, making any purchase gets rid of the horrendous ads - worth it! Pros: -Very large levels -Extremely chill -Fun story integration -Interesting mini-puzzles in & out of levels Cons: -Cannot go back to levels, which is frustrating. I really enjoy clearing the maps entirely, using strategy to get all the objectives, but end up having to focus on primary objective & that's about all. -The font on the map is ridiculously tiny, & if you zoom in on the map, which is not done via gesture, but a slow + button, it resizes when you exit it. -Lastly, please add Runefall 2 to the app store!

I can be certain this game would get a 4/5 stars. The ads are not a bother, apart from the fact if you press the x to close them it repeatedly takes you to download an app. The only way I can cancel them is to close the game and go back in only to have the same happen again after I cleared a level. I am deleting and starting again, but will keep it on 2 stars until the issue is resolved

I do like games like this.... Having played Mysterymatch for a long time until technical issues forced me to stop and delete. So though this was somewhat different, it also had similarities to Mysterymatch I figured I would like it..... But it's so much more complicated and it takes sooooo long to comlete one game... Im in it for the enjoyment, not a hour long game to just complete one level... That's not enjoyment, it's a chore. I still don't know what the a Resources Vein is...let alone finding them. Not much help understanding the game either. I'll keep it on my tablet for a while and when I find about a hour I can spare I might play a game. Games just shouldn't be this difficult for a average person to play.

Excellent
This is one of my best games. It rarely goes wrong, there’s lots of variety with small games to play after the main one. Also ads aren’t intrusive, and quick to dismiss if you’re not interested. There’s also lots of ways to earn gems and other rewards. Some levels are a bit long, but you can pause them and easily come back later to where you left off. I lost this game when my iPad died, and had to start again, but now you’ve ruined it by putting in an annoying pulsating arrow which is distracting and gets in the way. It isn’t helpful, and I don’t want to be told which way to go. I can make up my own mind.

Won’t let you watch an ad for more time but will let you cash in stones. So game is rigged. Freezes constantly.

The inside game in episode 87…..has a MAJOR FLAW. It’s the one with hexagon pieces with multi colored lines. There are to too many and you can’t reset,get instructions,or leave..the background in that box is plain and it’s all WRONG. please fix it A.S.A.P. You haven’t addressed this issue…do it now!
getting stuck
i have been stuck on level 36 for over a week now. I will be almost done with the level I'll get kicked out of the game then when I go back in i'm at the beginning again. This isn't just once a day either it's several times a day that this keeps happening. This is one of my favorite games but i'm thinking of deleting it due to this.
Too many black outs
I loved to play this game but I have play the same even 10 times. It doesn’t save my progress and also gives me the black screen of death....not fun to play a game that doesn’t go anywhere. Maybe if the game gets fixed I’ll play it again.
Love it but…
I love this game. However, I’m at level 30 and there is no way to find a hidden object Torch in order to open last area. I have restarted the game 3 times, but always reach same place and have not found the torch. There is no support system to be accessed from within the game, so I’m here asking for help. Thank you.
Facebook sign and update
Cannot sign in with Facebook, keeps telling me I need to update every time. I have uninstalled game for days and even a week, installed again with no success please help. I have been playing this game for years.

I enjoyed this game as long as I had it. It kept crashing on me. I repeated 1 level 3 times and when it crashed again I decided to do away with it. 😢

Doesn’t format correctly on iPhone 12
Seems like a great concept but doesn’t work on iPhone 12. It splits the screen between the game and my widgets screen.
Fun game and great storyline
The only issue I have is that the sign in tab covers my quests so I cannot see what is needed.
I really want to like this game...
But I have had my game cleared while playing by the pop-up. It gives you options to get more moves or quit or start over. What use is playing fast to get more points, etc., if when you are playing it the pop-up comes up as you are moving and starts the game over because you accidentally hit the restart. I have had this happen several times now. It would be better if it had a 2 step authentication to start over. I am so frustrated with this happening repeatedly that will I probably delete the game.

,As mentioned by another, it goes to a next level when I close the program. Didn’t use to do that. Frustrating mot to be able to finish a level, unless done in one sitting. Please fix it I used to really enjoy the game.
Level 1176 problem
This is my absolute favorite game yet I am stuck. I have overturned every square and cannot find the rope. I would love some help please. Would be nice to be able to have a “clue” option available. I love this game.
UI not friendly towards newer model iPhones
The UI in this game is not friendly for newer model phones. If you try to make a match at the bottom of the screen it will instead hit the app switcher bar, which will make you leave the game entirely. Also, the constant arrows telling you which way to go while trying to make matches is very annoying.
Has potential
Runefall has potential to be a great game, but the interference of so many adds make the game tedious to play. An add pops up every time you finish a level or some of the various tasks. The boards are quite large. Some in fact are a bit too large and I often have to stop in the middle of one because I don’t have the time to finish it. The story line is interesting at the beginning, but with only the same three people that too gets a little boring after a while. Maybe add more people once in a while, so it feels like your village is growing. Otherwise, it is a fun game...just a bit...large and sometimes tedious.
Adpocalypse
I have of course experienced advertisements in games before, but this is a good game ruined by an almost constant bombardment of repetitive and intrusive ads from multiple sources with no means to even pay to remove them. It’s a shame. Look elsewhere unless you enjoy a spamfest.
Great Game
I love this game. I just got it a couple of days ago and I can't stop playing. I've put some money into it simply because I believe in supporting game developers but I won't put too much in a little game I play on my ipad. So far I've been able to finish all the boards completely except one that I spent an hour watching ads trying to find the hidden area on and never did, so my only complaint is having trouble finding the hidden areas. I'm able to complete each board because I don't mind watching ads to get more energy when I run out. I watch tv while I play so when I have to "watch" an ad I just focus on what's on tv for a while. I love that if you can't get thru one of the mini games to open a chest or new area you can watch an ad to skip it. I really like match 3 games but most of them get ridiculously hard too soon and power ups don't seem to help. The power ups in this game really do help plus they recharge as you're playing so you don't have to keep purchasing them. Once unlocked they're available every time you play after a short refill wait and as you progress in the game you unlock new power ups and benefits to help game play. So I highly recommend this game. It's by far the best I've ever played on my ipad. Thank you to the developers. Update: The game's stopped working and this company has no customer support that I can find. Too bad because I loved this game. Update: I did receive a response from customer support and they have worked with me but they seem to be unable to fix the glitches that periodically occur in the game. I do really like this game tho so I'm updating to 3 stars (knocking off 2 for periodic glitches).
Unhappy with game now
I used to LOVE this game. It was MY FAVORITE until the update for IPad & Facebook server will no longer work properly. It’s caught in an endless loop to update, download, update, download over & over again. For a couple months now, I can’t upload my saved games from Facebook server to my IPad. I can load on my Android phone but NOT on my IPad. The screen is too little on my phone to enjoy playing the game. UGH!!!! Please fix!!!!

The game play is ok as match 3s go but it wastes far too much of your time in ads for other games.
Good in the beginning
You go through the beginning with no problems. Once you're up a few levels you're stuck with either no video to help to get through the level or not enough gems. There's no tutorial to help understand. Good luck to those who can figure it out

Actually I’m starting level 15. Why can’t I get keys to open chests? The game just got updated but I am getting disappointed. It happens again and again. Cannot get keys after all the time I’ve been playing and accumulating runes and points. Is there anything wrong? Please tell me what I’m doing wrong, if not I will drop the game and stop playing it. Thank you. Now I’ve been playing and playing and I don’t think the counter works. Trying to fill the meter with shields, nothing happens, I do not get the points. Won’t let me go ahead and I been swapping for hours and ........tell me please what I’m doing wrong. I love the game but it seems I am stuck matching 3 and jumping from one side to the other on the map. Nothing else. WHY ARE THE INTERRUPTIONS CONSTANT? Why? EVERY TEN SECONDS. Was a great game

How can I overcome the glitch when this game freezes up? I’ve had to start from the beginning 3 times once reaching level 152, again at 13 and now at 70 something. I love the game but this is ridiculous!! It freezes at the screen as the new level game is loading. Map

Since most recent update app is constantly crashing and you cannot use half of the boxes in a level. Really frustrating as I'm thoroughly enjoying playing.
Disappointed
I would give it 5 stars if it had not just stopped playing. It is stuck on loading my next level and it sits there on loading.... Tired and tried, nothing. Loved the game till now.

I tried to update and it won’t show I feel I shouldn’t have to delete it then download it again to work right
Level 16 help.
Currently on level 16 at 94% completion. Cleared 465 of 465 tiles. Opened all treasure chests, located all resource veins, found all hidden items. However my stats say only 3/5 runes. I think this is a glitch and will not allow me to complete the map. I love this game and want to continue playing, but I’m growing frustrated and will uninstall if I don’t receive some help. Please let me know how what I need to to do. I will rate you higher. Thanks

I loved this game but now it doesn’t go past “loading”. Music plays in background but game never comes up.
Good game but.....
Like this game but unfortunately it keeps crashing near the end of Level 28. Fed up re-playing it only for it to crash again. No more for me. Update. After a while I went back and tried again. I succeeded in completing that level but every few levels it happens again. You compete a big chunk of a level only for it to crash and you have to start it from the beginning again. Very, VERY frustrating. PLEASE, PLEASE tell me how you / I can fix this crashing problem. I can now add that this fault occurs on two different devices. Am now several quid down on the gems or crystals or whatever they are. AVOID THIS GAME.
