Great Game..but inaccurate age rating
This game is very good. I honestly must say I like the jobs but it’s got an inaccurate age rating. I think it should be 9+ instead of 13+.

Stole my permanent dispatcher
I started the game with 5 dispatchers and earned the ability to purchase an extra permanent dispatcher, which gave me 6. I can add a temporary dispatcher for an hour by watching an ad, which gave me 7. Today I started with 5 permanent dispatchers. Where did my 6th dispatcher go? I’m deleting this game.

Too many, too much, too long
I really loved this game at first. I liked the visuals, the gameplay and the different worlds. I played this for as long as I could until the sheer volume of ads, trains to obtain, events to plow through, and just plain time wasting wore me down. I found myself drifting back to the game only to be stymied by hours of production time, transport time, etc. I am not going to live as long as it will take to play this game. So I must leave at the next station.

Steep price hikes
I’ve played this game for years, but I’m about ready to delete it. First, as others have said, to have any chance of being competitive you have to spend money - sometimes a lot of it. And they have just implemented a huge price hike. It appears to be at least a 20% hike on a fully established game. Which brings me to my second point. There’s very little new to the game. They repeat events and jobs with great regularity. Even when they introduce a new region, it’s really just rehashing the old. I’ve been playing for over 5 years, but I’m tired of paying for the old game over and over again.
Play Level One several times.
The first level (Uk)is quite cute. A lot better than many. The train destinations take about 20seconds or so, the resources are quick and the manufacturing is also short so the game is fairly pleasant to play. It takes about a day to get to level 2. Unfortunately as you enter level 2 (Germany) every thing slows down and they push paid for and advertisement accelerators relentlessly. Every new feature seems designed to get in the way and it gets worse. No fun and lots of slog. Last time I stopped at France. This time probably Germany…. The weird thing about this game that doesn’t affect the playing other than cosmetically is the train assignments. There is little logic and many examples that are just wrong. For example the LNER A3 the classic British Engine is in Germany and the Nord 140 (French), Prussian P8 (German) and Erie L1 (US) is in the UK. What? Did do they go on holiday?
Awful ads
Why has the Copilot ad (for example) got to play 3 or 4 times and then crash. Ads are only supposed to be 30 seconds long.
Nice until it stopped working
Liked it well enough. Interesting art, easy to follow. After a download on Day 3, I deleted it because it didn’t do anything anymore. Wasn’t frozen, just didn’t respond.

Great Game but designed to make $$$
This is a great game very addicting. But is designed for you to spend money every which way. You go up levels but for everything you need emeralds, of course you can buy emeralds so you can upgrade faster. But they lock you down if you don’t. As you go up it keeps costing you more items to upgrade trains and places but you don’t earn more emeralds for watching their advertisements all you get is 1 emerald. Again great game but built to get your money. (Updated 8/27/25) So a few things I discovered 1) is they have a sale on parts that they list out and then show a +50% which to me means if you buy that package you would get the parts plus 50% more. 2). So when you go to upgrade the trains it tells how many gears needed to upgrade but each time you upgrade it keeps increasing by 9% for each time you upgrade. As you become a tycoon as they put parts increase what you need to upgrade but your rewards for the job don’t!!!!!
Great game, but now won’t respond after loading
Enjoying the game, but for last week, game loads, but clicking the station icon for tutorial won’t now respond upon loading and no other icons work. Have tried restarting game and reinstalling with no resolution. Any ideas? Thanks

Starts well…. but, oh dear
Game looks nice and plays well, but with limited conductors, and 1 hour delivery times per load it grinds to a halt. Made it out of Britain, only to find the time to deliver appears to have doubled in Germany. Sad as it had so much potential. May still dip in now and again, but not a focus play game.
Steel factory
The steel factory in Britain (in the game) steel factory takes 1 hour per epic train, lower the time to at least 20 seconds please

Hey developers figure out in game notification. They pop up for NOTHING NEW and I am so so tired of adds not ending with the first X, or second or third or fourth sometimes even more. This is the one reason I regularly think of not playing anymore. Ridiculous!!!😡😡

Locked game
Just switched to an iPad Mini. Downloaded game and it started at level 1. On Android device I was at level 490! Now game locks up as soon as I get to level 4! Ready to give it up.
Ads crash the app now “fun”
Ummmm ok why is it whenever I get an ad in the app it like crashes the app im niot kidding and dont think i forgot about how in 2020 you had this promotion “give us your personal info get free gems” and please make more conucters available besides that I think the game is great and i understand that they may not cant fix some these things but thats ok.
Disappointed and frustrated
The game is great. It’s fun, it works well and there’s nice variety. The reason for 2 stars is the soft lock on the second map, Germany. I have enjoyed the game playing often for about 10 days. I’m no longer able to continue as I need an epic train for a main story missions with no way to achieve it other than to pay for keys to unlock more boxes. Might I add, in level 1, you can earn an epic train for the mission. In Germany, you are given a legendary and that’s all. While I could grind side/repeat missions to level up and get to the next map, I find it extremely disappointing that I’d have to go to those extends to even have a chance of getting an epic, and it’s a low chance too. No guarantees. I’ve opened about 15/20 crates now for German trains and I cannot get an epic train and after such an investment in time already into the game, I’m now left with no choice but to delete it as I’m soft locked. Really disappointed. I know as a business they want to earn money, but forcing players into a corner is the wrong approach.
Bait and Switch
The game begins with straightforward train layout building, more or less typical strategy game stuff. Pay to play is more or less continual, with things getting pricier and pricier as you go and less and less possible to continue without shelling out more money. But when I got to Level 3 (“Save the Planet”), I deleted the game. I am playing for amusement, not for the propaganda I get for free all day long in the public realm. Pixel Federation, keep your fearmongering to yourself.
Love this game
Happy birthday to TrainStation2. I love this. I have been playing this game for eight months consistently now. I love how you can see the trains in such high detail. coming from someone who enjoys learning and watching trains. I have seen the trains that have came through my area. It’s so cool to see him in game like 7990. I love a big boy the train it is beautiful. I love how they don’t constantly force you with ads all the time. am I don’t make you pay insane prices for the legendary trains and events.Aslo love that you you can go to all differently country and get all the new engine. also just has a little suggestion. Can you please do the Yellowstone class? It’s Jake boys, younger brother in super underrated.Just over all I love this game ❤️
Ad error
Ads for double rewards don’t give rewards.. it’s a scam and happens in all your games. Too bad because I really enjoyed this game and now I have deleted all your games. Also 2 minute ads are ridiculous.
Great game.
Lots to do and engaging. However, the cost to play and advance beyond basics is getting expensive. Almost everything comes with a price, task made more difficult for the sake of a sale.
No free play
First few levels are fun, you fly through them and progression is very apparent but then it comes to a stop. You either wait hours to progress or you purchase in-game coins to purchase items to progress quicker. For everyone saying they are okay with that because the producers of the game have to make money, they do. They make money off the ads. Over all good platform to play on, good design and layout and addictive missions but 100% not worth spending money on or waiting hours for.

I don’t know if I have left a review, but I really like TrainStation 2. It has great game play, no ads (unless you want ads), the only thing that I don’t like is that I am on level 89 and I still have not gotten a legendary train for Germany and I have not been able to complete it. (That is what I am “COME ON!” about.)

Ok so I downloaded it a couple weeks ago it looked fun and it still is but I thought it was a sandbox game so if you can like add a sandbox mode that would make it %100 better but still really fun

Completely different gameplay to what the ads shows, can’t believe there is no regulation on this fake ads; beside that, this game is designed for you to spend $, otherwise everything is super slow and time consuming, a material delivery takes an hour, that’s on the first two maps, having play further not sure if I want to waste more time
Great Game But One Little Nitpick
Now I love this game and have been playing it for years but it gets a little bit tedious when it gets to a point where every single mission is an hour or more depending on how many supplies are needed. For a person that goes to school every day I just wish it flowed a little bit faster other than that it’s a pretty good game.

This game is absolutely amazing, I’ve been playing it for a long time and I’ve loved but, the stamps, why are we unable to acquire stamps from previous maps like Britain for example, theres no way I can acquire the stamps, please look into this.
