I must have changed my password 5 times and the app still won’t let me login. Do better Shell.
Can’t login
Created account. Can’t login. Can’t reset password. Uninstalled.
Fill up’s don’t update.
Despite filling up multiple times, it does not update my gold status. I purchased the premium gas that’s supposed to count two times and it has not updated at all. Not sure what’s going on. You’d think after every fill up they would update.
Latest Update Broke my Login
Normally this app works just fine. But since I updated the app in Aug2026, I haven’t been able to log into my account and actually use it at the pump. I even tried changing my password but that didn’t help. It says to call a number but who has time for that. Please fix ASAP

Doesn’t sign in
Honestly, I’ve never had a more frustrating experience. I just wanna log into the app. I don’t understand like why I need such a complex password and why I need to put in my phone number details and why it takes 20 minutes for me to get a code to login. It’s a gas station app if you’re really gonna try to log into my account for Shell you have issues beyond belief.

Payment Bugs
Every one or two months, the app has issue with payment, and it does not save the pump. I was tired of the cycle reset
When it actually works it is great, but super inconsistent
Very inconsistent - I will arrive at the pump, specify the number and pay with Apple Pay, but often by the time I get the nozzle in and the grade chosen, the payment has magically canceled and I need to do the whole thing over again, and often just end up using my card.
Woah it’s actually really good
This is an absolutely phenomenal app. Real rewards points and discounts, actual improvements in convenience at the pump. This essentially has made sure I only go to shell (or still Costco) for gas going forward. I haven’t experienced any bugs with it at all either.
Useless, doesn't let you log in
No matter how many times you reset your password... It doesn't let you log in. Reset password, log in, wait you have an account, log in, credentials not valid, reset password, repeat repeat repeat and never works.
Fuel Rewards via T-Mobile Tuesdays
Positive: -Gas prices are listed. -Discounted gas from T-Mobile, which can be applied in the app. -Ability to pay from the app with Apple Pay. Negative: -No digital wallet support for adding Shell physical gift cards to my account balance like I can with Amazon.
Used to show which car wash was touchless - doesn’t anymore
I have a delicate car and use only touchless car wash. Shell had a great feature showing you exactly which car wash is touchless - and they removed it, ruining the overall experience! If the devs are reading this, please bring it back!
App just keeps getting worse
Look, I’m really particular about my gas. I pretty much only get Shell. But there have been so many frustrating glitches with the app, from login issues, to “pump unavailable” issues, to other random problems. I like shell gas but man I wish this app would just work like it used to. I’m literally trying to give shell my money
Terrible
Does not save passwords and changes them itself. Low fuel savings and often not worth to go save yourself sometime and get a membership at costco or just go to chevron.

The Rewards program advertising is misleading promotion, i have wrote support but they just ignored reports
Can’t get on the app
The app sucks
App is broken
After registering in the app, I was asked to login to start using the app. Which I did. Only to be told that “credentials were incorrect”. Despite the fact that I logged in with exactly the credentials I created when I registered. It’s a joke.
Can’t see the car wash type
after the recent update i’m unable to the see carwash type via the app. it used to say “soft cloth” or “touchless” but now i can’t find this information anywhere
Can’t log in
Went to get gas and it gave me the E000 error when I tried to sign in and pay at the pump. This is the second time this has happened in the last two months. This is very frustrating.
Round and round you go
I am trying to use my rewards on the shell app. I set up a Shell app account. In order for me to use the app I need to setup a reward account with Shell. I tried to log in and it asked for my email and password. Then it tells me this account is in use for the shell app. And to the beginning we go. I log into the app and the app tells me I need another account to view the shell app. I am being harassed into give over my contact information to another app. All of this to get $.50 off a gallon of gas. Has anyone ever accomplished this.?
False advertising- You don't get enrolled discounts
I've enrolled and downloaded the shell app, linked my card, gave a pin, etc. I signed up for race day rewards and other email reward offerings (they confirm I am enrolled) but when it comes time to use it they don't exist. I don't get anything but 5 cents off, that's it. Tried calling customer service but they argued that I was not really enrolled despite looking at the emails and my shell app saying otherwise.

The app should include fuel pricing by location.
SCAMMED
I just used it for the first time...I went out of my way to Shell, where gas is much more expensive than my usual gas station (Costco), and I made an account, following all the directions in app. The app said I had 60 cents off per gallon, so I hit pay. It instructed me to stay in my car, I gave the pump number and processed payment. Spoiler: it did not apply my rewards, instead it charged me full price after going out of my way to save money! I called Shell and got transferred to all the different departments, each telling me that they could not help. I got scammed lol. I would stay away.
Car wash does not Load!
Good app, but when I’m at the car wash it never loads and i can’t start my wash, wasting everyone’s time. Is it really that hard to fix a small problem?
Scam
Waste my points from McDonald’s, been trying to use points and it never applies to my total. Been paying FULL price for fuel since I got the app. Points never apply ever! Even when I’ve selected it to apply! Biggest scam ever! Emailed customer service and never got any response. Called and request for a call back and never called back! Scam company!
Too many steps for a simple fill-up!
Why do I have to scan 2or 3 different cards just to get my points and discounts? In 2026, it’s fill outdated. It’s like a playing a slot machine at the pump instead of having quick and convenient experience.
Not Working
According to customer service and my own experience, the app is not working. I inquired of others at fill up stations and they confirmed the app is dysfunctional. Dialed into customer service and they had no fixes. Hope it gets fixed.
Cannot link Airmiles
Constantly unlinks Airmiles. After last update cannot even sign in anymore into Airmiles. And no, I am not going to call Shell customer service. Your IT team should troubleshoot from logs
Terrible app
Had to change password SEVEN times and the app still wouldn’t accept it claiming I had the app already. Hire better tech people.
Need the US version feature that shows fuel prices
The U.S. version app already has the ability to show fuel prices, why the Canadian version still lacks this feature???
