The senhieser headphones and app are probably the best ive ever had interms of features and tech (and ive spent about 3 grand on headphones. ). if senheiser made headphones with better anc qnd sound these would be the best in the market
Headphones keep opening voice control with no off setting
Headphones keep opening voice control despite it being turned off in the system settings, and calling people. I love my headphones but I hate this feature. Let me turn it off.

It’s a great app but it crashes a lot
Nightmare if AirPlay Stops
I had about year of usage with this app. No issues. Randomly the Airplay wouldn’t show up and I followed every troubleshooting measure possible. All in almost 8 hours of fiddling with a soundbar. I called Sennhieser directly and we still couldn’t get the issues fixed. The app and their products are the worst I’ve used for firmware reliability. The audio they provide though almost makes me deal with it. The sound they create saved them from a one star review.
Sound Personalization doesn’t work
Whenever I try to make a profile for sound personalization, I get to the point where you’re able to drag that ball around then it instantly crashes the app.

Best AirPods ever, I use them on iPhone way better than the apple ones by far. Keep it up 👏🏻
Completely Broken
Ambeo Max Soundbar is grayed out. Search found it again. Tapping on the found device does nothing. Tried both iOS and iPad. Expensive device now dead.

The more connections you have to the headphones, the more it tends to crash. The purpose of my review though, is to ask: why don’t you have an app for PC? I prefer to keep my headphones connected to my windows computer rather than my iPhone. I went to look for your app in the Microsoft store and it’s nowhere to be found. Please create an app for windows? Thanks.
Doesn’t work half the time
This app is great when it works. I would say when I first got headphones it worked but now its legacy and they don’t care it seems. I’ve had Sennheiser headphones for 10+ years but this has become so frustrating - its a simple issue as well. The headphones can be found but they never connect. Sometimes if I remove the app and redownload it works but its really just random it seems.
Settings Gray
Just yesterday, settings are grayed out. Can't access. I deleted the app and reloaded it. Same issue. Please help. Can't turn on my sub.

Horrible app
This app is barely functional. It struggles to do basic things such as having the sound bar find the Wi-Fi every time I go to use the sound bar I need to completely go through a reboot of settings just to get it to work.
Suggestion
Please make it so we can choose wether it can be anc when we turn the headphones on or transparent
I’m so sad
The app keeps crashing every time I try to customize my sound personalization. I’ve tried over ten times and it crashes every time. I’ve tried multiple times in different ways. I’m so sad.
Please add WiFi WPA3 (not wpa3/2) support to soundbar plus!
Nowadays,there are more and more deauth attacks to Ip cameras which still use wpa2 without PMF,WPA3 is becoming essential!Your ads indicate that the soundbar supports Wi-Fi6 which is always paired with wpa3 encryption.But during setup process,this app indicates the correct password is wrong.Since the hardware support Wi-Fi6,I think you really need to add WPA3 encryption support as soon as possible.

Useless
Sennheiser makes some incredible hardware, but the software is incredibly dysfunctional. I need to use this app to connect to my Ambeo sound bar and adjust most settings. I wish I didn’t have to go through a 45 minute dance every time I want to use it to adjust my bass or my surround sound. I wish I can say this app has seen some improvements over the last 3 years I’ve used it.
Accentum Opens
These ear buds could really benefit off this app by letting you tune your audio, smart pause and stuff alike. Plus the app also states it will support all products.
Meh
It’s nice to be able to adjust the settings for listening quality, firmware updates fails as soon as attempts to load. That’s frustrating, along with fact my device doesn’t work on SmartControl + Ap where all their R&D and money goes.
Bad app
The CX Plus wireless headphones sound very good but this app is useless. You cannot get to the eq half the time. If you lose BT, reconnecting can be a challenge. I don’t understand why getting to the basic features of an application should be so hard. Come on guys, fix it….

Quite possible the most useless app for any of the speaker systems possible. The integration the interface. All of it, just beyond useless.
Charging annoyance
Overall i like these headphones. However when they are charging they continually announce the percentage of charge. This is annoying especially when using the headphones while charging. Give me the option to turn these announcements off.

I’m enjoying the headphones and the app works pretty good. However they should remove their ideology from the app as this is not everyone’s view and doesn’t really have anything to do with equipment

Good and bad
App has useful, functioning features with the exception of the personalized audio feature. It continually crashes during customizing your own specific listening profile. It has preloaded equalizer settings, but would much rather customize my own listening profile. If it didn’t crash every time I tried to setup my personalized equalizer profile, it would get a higher rating. But a feature like this needs to fixed.
Works well
This app works well on the whole. Feedback: I upgraded Momentum 4 firmware from 2.13.28 to 2.13.37, and the app didn’t tell me what changed in those versions (except the last). Can you please display the release notes for the skipped versions too?
Low quality for premium price
The app randomly disconnects, randomly shows empty page instead of tabs
Connection while charging.
I think there should be a feature to check how much your case is charging without opening it and turning on my ear phones.
App Crashes on Sound Personalization
Can’t set up personalized sound at all. Will get past the “drums” section, then it crashes, without fail. Yes, I deleted and redownloaded the app, don’t ask. Please fix.
Bugs on Momentum 4
When using Microsoft Teams, there is a bug on Momentum 4 for unmute when taking off the headset. It has created few problems when I need to temporarily take off my headset during a Teams meeting. Happened few times during meetings where I was mute in the meeting, but need to quickly talk to someone, all the conversation was heard in the Teams meeting unexpectedly. I am using the headset with usb cable, and have tried to switch on and off all the combinations in the setting, like “On-head detection”, “Smart Pause” etc. all doesn’t solve the issue.

Decent app, very few bugs. Only experienced 2 bugs so far!! Love it
Utter garbage
I have the sound bar and this app is utter garbage. Doesn’t work half the time (not exaggerating) and when it does, you’re pretty limited in what you can do with it.
Hand off and Functionality
The app is great and it looks really fluid. I like the granularity you can do with it. The headphones are the best I’ve ever owned. I suggest that there be a way to improve hand-off functions. The bandwidth that’s being utilized when handing off a device and it fails to hand-off to the next device that’s using it is too high I think. There’s a lag when it hands off, or maybe that’s a function of the quality? I’m not sure but I would really like to see two audios being able to be streamed at once. For example, Astro A30’s are capable to handle signal from a USB and Bluetooth simultaneously, both audios can feed at once.
Control issues
Not sure what the issue is but connecting and controlling the soundbar is just not good enough. If I switch to Music I almost always have to restart soundbar to connect back to tv. Not sure if this is apps fault or not but just not a seamless experience. Music and sound is great but functionality is just not there.

Still supports my headphones
Even after a few years, my headphones are still supported by the app. Other companies don’t do this. Thank you Sennheiser :)
WHEN. ARE. YOU. FIXING. THIS. APP?
The app has never been great quality. But it used to be really handy. It used to RECOGNIZE ALL MY HEADPHONES, without fail. It used to save my customizations. NOW? Refuses to do a thing with my PCX-550-II set, yet it works just fine with a budget set. I have attempted everything to get the late 2025 app to accept my PXC headphones. NOPE! The audio quality has been great on my PXCs, but come on. I don't like spending $400 for audio devices with ill-developed apps that will simply not recognize them no matter how many times I remove and connect the things. Sennheiser is a brand I have liked and used for a long time, for more than just headphones. They are not going to be considered for my next purchase if this is the poor service that continues.
Add widgets
App works fine, very intuitive to me. No extra fluff. I really wish there was a widget to see battery etc for my connected device though.
Ambeo Plus/Sennheiser control app
This app is totally out of date & needs an overhaul. I have had my sound bar (which works perfectly) for 6 months. However the Sennheiser Control Center App on IOS totally blows! I cannot get to the Home Screen to adjusts sources, adjust equalizer or any other features. I have tried factory resets and every thing else possible, so the problem is in the app itself. The sound bar wasn’t cheap, but the support app certainly is.
Latest update
I am using MTW 3. Since the last update I have connectivity problems with the app. In constant need to close and reopen App and power off and on the earbuds. Also noticed that the ANC functionality degraded a lot compared to before.

Used to Work
Not anymore… Never offered much for my PXC-550 MkII, but now fails to function at all. Once I select the headphones, it plays an animation for a very long time, then returns to the device selection screen. Sennheiser, come on. Your hardware is incredible. If you’re going to tie it to an app, make sure it works. Otherwise, stick to making great hardware and don’t bother with software companions.
A 10 band EQ would be fantastic
A 10 band eq with adjustable frequencies and “Q” would be amazing! That’s why I gave it 4 stars but other than that this product is fantastic!!!!!!
HD 450BT headphones
This app doesn’t work with the HD 450BT headphones. If I finally pair the headphones to the iPhone it will drop signal in seconds. So I have a set of headphones that are junk.
Okay Eventually
Wouldn’t connect to Momentum earbuds no matter what I tried until finally it worked for some reason. Now seems to work but transparency button is laggy and doesn’t control music playback properly when turned on and off.
