after the recent update the app keeps requesting bluetooth access even though it has it already and is requesting access to a support setting not even found.

Great headset but won't connect to app
I have the SteelSeries Arctics Nova Elite and had no trouble connecting it to my ps5 or phone, but when trying to connect it to the app it forever says “initializing your device.”

The sound is amazing!!!….Helped so much with my tactical gaming….I can now hear and sense when enemies are around….The headset really elevated my game.

Not Pairing
I recently bought an Arctis Nova Elite headset. I’m able to connect through Bluetooth on my phone but I’m not able to connect them to this app. I tried uninstalling the app, unpairing/repairing the Elites to my phone…still stuck on “Initializing device”. Doing some research, it seems to be a common problem with SteelSeries wireless headsets. Incredibly disappointing and I’ll likely be returning the headsets especially considering Elites are $600. I’d also go as far as not recommending any SteelSeries wireless headsets in general.
Can’t Connect Nova 7X Gen 2 After Recent Update
Ever since the last update that happened on 2026/07/07 the companion app won’t detect my Arctis Nova 7x Gen 2. They are connected to my phone and I can listen to audio like normal over bluetooth but the app will be stuck in the searching state

This app makes adjusting my SteelSeries audio settings quick and simple. The layout is clean, everything is easy to understand, and switching presets only takes a few seconds. It works smoothly and gives me exactly the sound I want without making anything complicated. Highly recommend it to any SteelSeries user.

You have to have your console (or whatever you use these for) off to connect your Arctis to the app to customize it, but other than that, it’s a great headphone!
Software sucks
I just purchased the nova elite and followed the instructions in the manual and the app. My phone connects to it fine but the app just sits on connecting initializing in progress and then just sits there. You’d expect for the price of the headphones that everything would work properly. The iPhone 17 pro max has been out for almost a year and support says the same stuff every time, that they are working on it. How long does it take to write code and or fix the bug causing the issue.

Everything is generally good customization and functionality aside from wear sense constantly reverting back to being on.

I bought the steelseries nova pro , still can’t get an option to connect to app despite the price.
Amazing Audio, app stuck on connecting though...
I have the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless (Omni/Xbox version) and had no trouble connecting it to my Xbox through the 2.4 GHz wireless transmitter while also using Bluetooth on my iPhone at the same time. Audio works great. My only issue is that the Arctis app stays stuck on “Connecting…” and never opens. It’s frustrating that I seem to need a PC or laptop just to access features that should be available through the mobile app. Fix the app and this would be an easy 5-star product.

I got a pair of Arctis Nova 5p’s for my birthday. They are great for everyday use and gaming, the app makes the whole ecosystem feel seamless. Overall the perfect app for a great product

I bought a set of arctics nova 7p last months ago and when I went to use them with the app I realised that I cannot change any settings unless I use a pc with the sonar app which is annoying because you cannot get an app on iOS to let you modify the settings of your headphones

Add older devices with the 2.4 dongle
I got the nova 4x and can’t adjust mic settings as don’t have a computer. But my phone has usb c connection so if you can add the older device to the app so can adjust settings then back to Xbox would be great.

Excellent except for Bluetooth issues
These headphones are amazing! They have incredible sound, ridiculously long battery life, an app with great presets, and they’re very comfy over long periods! The only con is the Bluetooth connectivity! Constantly disconnects making you have to continually pause game to reconnect! These are already the best I’ve used but really wish the connection was more stable!

Please add support for newer headsets, I’ve just bought the Steelseries Arctis 7X to find out that I can’t even use this app for it which is really annoying especially when it says ‘Arctis companion’ yet only has one headset supported!
