Best app yet to replace Moves (boy did Facebook mess that up). Developer responsive to comments which is a big plus in my book.

I love how the app seamlessly tracks everything I do. Biking, walking and transit. The only problem is that it hasn’t learned that I don’t bike/walk and drive in 10 minute intervals. If I do a long bike ride, uphills turns to walk and fast downhills turn to car.
It used to be 4.5 stars
I have been paying for the premium app for a number of years now. It’s great to be able to look back at any day and see what you did and where. Unfortunately, the accuracy of the app has depreciated dramatically and as a result, I am actively looking for an app to replace this with. It’s a shame and I don’t want to lose years of memories but I want accuracy for what I’m paying. It even shows some days of nothing, when I know I’ve been out and about. The app is never closed, always working in the background. Sorry, not good enough.

Works good now!
Got a little rough with some past update. Been using this app for 7 plus years now. Use for tracking my time spent at jobs and mileage and steps. Just been getting better and better. Well worth the monthly subscription. Have tried others. This is the best for my needs.

It’s only been 2 days and my app didn’t track until last hour of work, I make a lot of random stops, I pay for this to be accurate

Needs work
Could be a great app once developers sort it out. Does not track correctly, does what it wants. Needs work.

Okay, so this is. Very nice visual app. Seems to work well in my first day of using it. However, it’s far far far too costly. I can’t afford it after the trial period. And when you deselect ‘metric’ it still uses km and metres in the steps and vehicle distance metrics. I want miles and feet.
Love it
I track where I am been throughout the day. Perfect if I forgot something or if I forget to invoice somebody for a service call.
Doesn’t work anymore
This app used to be great at tracking my dog walking routes, but after it was updated it rarely shows the correct routes and walk/drive category. I want my money back!
Useful app
Only problem is that the app often confuses a car/taxi in slow moving traffic as an ebike. Otherwise good

头一次用这个软件，看订阅方案里有写免费试用一个月所以就点了那个一年的方案。但是没注意到其实没有免费试用…于是似乎就莫名其妙要付款了……说好的免费试用1个月呢？还完全没开始试用这个软件，麻烦看能不能退一下款。我不可能给一个没怎么用过的软件付一整年的费用的。（何况还这么贵）

Moves went through a couple of rough years and I feel there is still room for improvement, however now there charging. It’s been nice knowing you. Good by.

How did I miss this awesome app!!!!
I used moves year ago, but suddenly it was removed from App Store. And I reset my iPhone. And now I’m so happy I got it back
Very inaccurate, poor support
The app shows me as walking for 16 hours, 47 minutes, for a total of 0.0 miles ... huh?? And I slept for about 8 hours during that time. Slow and no responses to requests for support.
Needs more track editing abilities
Of the apps I’ve tried that do similar things, this one seems to track my location the most accurately, and display this data very nicely with the ability to share photos and videos too. I see the update today supports export of gpx and csv data, but it needs to support importing those data types as well... Also, the reason I came here today to write this review is that I am suggesting to implement more track editing abilities. Sometime last night the gps tracking bounced my position somewhere in the middle of nowhere [though my device had never moved] and likewise created an hours long track to some “unknown place” and back again in the morning. I was able to delete the erroneous [car] track, but now I am stuck with a 7+ hours stay at this unknown location and I cannot delete the place point. If I am going to pay for the subscription, I really want to be able to have a concise and complete record of my movement data which is going to involve more abilities to edit my tracks—maybe even draw them on the map if the gps tracking fails again? Overall, I think this is the best app of its kind currently on the App Store. Good job!
Not as good as the old one
If certain things were already figured out in the old Moves... not sure why the new one gets things wrong. It mislabels my bike rides as bus rides and labels my car moves as bike rides. Sometimes it gets it right. The old Moves was the best activity app i ever had and ive had several. Get the guys who engineered the old moves. I dont know why that was ever discontinued?! Peace👍🏼

Trouble with updates
I was an early user of the original Moves app. Recently I paid for the yearly sub. One big issue is with updates which you guys do often. The status wheel keeps spinning but never seems to update? I live in NYC, often I have to correct the app which thinks I'm driving when I was on the subway. If you can fix these two issues, I would greatly appreciate it.
It’s not Moves!
The app tracks fairly well but modes of transportation are at times in accurate. I am able to “walk” across rivers and you cannot edit them. You also cannot edit inaccurate locations. There are also times movement doesn’t show up. To top it off, I really believe this is a battery killer. My phone has to charger way more often with this running. Nice try but I’m deleting it.

Move x
I think move x is a good developing app but i have a couple of issues with it. For a start it drains my battery when i am not moving. The other night my phone battery dropped to 72 per cent from 100 and i was asleep lol. My 2nd issue is that it lacks the ability to label places. With the moves app you could customise place names. My third thing is that we need the ability to link the app to either momento or day 1 via a feed. You could do that with moves so when you were out and about i knew my movements would be automatically logged on my momento app without me having to do anything. I am a totaly blind person who uses voiceover and i am sure you can appreciate that it is a risk for me pulling my phone out of my bag or pocket in a public place to log my arrival at an address. With moves there was no need to worry. Since it closed last year i have been waiting for a replacement that would fulfill my needs but we are not there yet. I hope someone reads this and takes all i have said on board. Kind regards.
Battery drainer but good app
To be honest it’s not a bad app. It absolutely drains the battery though and for that reason I can’t continue to have it on my phone. I needed a battery pack just to make it to lunchtime and I fear the app was the culprit. Worthy app for someone who’s got a phone case with a battery pack installed in it.
Not as good as the original yet!
I see they want to charge for this app. I really enjoyed the original but this isn't as good yet! I will miss it as I had it running in the background all the time and was nice to see where I had been. I would pay a one off charge if it wasn't too much. The developer cares enough to contact everyone who comments! Thank you for caring!
It’s great!
I really miss the old moves and you guys are hitting it! I wish there was a way to pay you for it, I was using an another app for a little bit and every time I opened up the app they said I needed to pay for it Before I could even figure out if it was worth it. It irritated me so much that I quit using it because I never really could figure out some of its nuances and wasn’t very user-friendly. You guys are great now I’m looking for a way to pay you and I can’t! Keep up the good work I really appreciate it

Battery life
This app has been gradually improving to begin to behave like the old Moves app. However the last few days it’s started to consume battery life so fast it’s impossible to leave home without a battery charger. PLEASE remove gimmicks like 2018 review and consolidate changes to minimise battery effects. Otherwise it will need removing again.

开始还兴幸可以找到替代moves的软件，突然就收费了，这也无可厚非，大家都能理解，就是收费太贵了，与现在提供的功能并不能划上等号。并且不交费连基本功能也用不上，希望能有多个档次的收费。话说回来，现在也只有基本记录功能，暂时分不出档次吧。
I have problem
I can’t use this app move x
Can’t activate subscription
I purchased a monthly subscription and it was deducted from my account. Apple clearly states that I’m subscribed. However, I can’t get past the subscribe splash screen in the app, there has been no tracking etc., du to the “lack” of subscription... the restore purchase button is greyed out or inactive... I even registered with my email and did the confirmation etc., just to get it working. Long story short: app seems scammy, poor-poor consumer management. Not to mention the waste of money for a month of nothing! Thank god, I didn’t trash my money for a whole year! It’s a shame!

Erased all my past info from the new update.
I did your update using my email and password and all my past was erased. I needed all that info to be there and now it’s gone. How do we prevent this from happening in the future?
Needs Improvement
I was liking this app for awhile but now it is not logging in places i go to even though i go there every week & spend 3 or more hours there. I want it to continue to get better & record the places i go. I hope it does continue to get more like the old Moves
Best replacement for Moves!
I’ve tried quite a few apps and wasn’t pleased with any. You had to hit “start” on some, other didn’t have a map. This one is the best I’ve found for what I was looking for. :)
Boo!
Suddenly requires a subscription. I will be deleting the app. Took forever to update & show my data, very inconsistent, often wrong. Free, I could put up with it. $$, not worth it.
Moves x
I got to say when this app first appeared it was a bit rough around the edges. But a constant slew of updates has seen this app ever improving. I use this to monitor my movements for a job timesheet, so it has to work. I have complete confidence in it. The appearance of the app is also a great improvement over the old version. Well done developers and keep up the improvements. Maybe one feature that would be nice would be the ability to link sections together. I.e when the app says walking and transport to get a total mileage etc.
Poor Replacement
Move X is a poor Replacement for Moves. I keep it on all the time but it ignored the first hour or more of my walking or biking. Today it began to keep track after I had already booked 3 miles. I am unable to correct and change mode of travel. When the app records biking as walking I cannot click on walking and make it right. I hope these things change.
Good but not perfect
Good app to keep track of some activities. For some reason it will record biking as long as you don't go too fast. I have bike rides that were converted to "Transport" and there is no way (as far as I can tell) to edit the activities.
