Very Handy
It just keeps getting better. Hoping for more integration with other platforms eg Maritime NSW to streamline safe boating.
Maps outdated
Maps many years out of date so pretty useless. Eg Nth Bribie Island still shown without passage.

Amazing app, but I’d also like to see the water temperature as well. And idk if I’m dumb or not, but wind speed plus gusts would be great. Adding the prerequisites to those courses would be amazing, as to not confuse new boaters about what they qualify for and don’t
Most useful feature is paywalled
Unfortunately water depth is behind a subscription which unfortunately makes this app useless to me. Also the global heat map is extremely difficult to see.
Unstable logs & annoying login
This app used to be very good. Finding the free version keeps asking for email address to authorise login. Trips also freeze and jumps making logs not correct. My yacht cannot do 273Knots speed!

Deceptive- Not free
Made sure this “free” app didn’t show “In app purchases” in the description. After downloading, guess what? To use any of the interesting features, it requires in-app purchases of $60/yr. There are better apps c-map, Garmin, Navionics’s, for less
Need names of jetties….
App looks good, how ever would be great if name of jetty, wharf, breakwater or boat business could be shown (road and land business names are shown)….
Battery eater
This app is nice but it eats up a full batter in a couple hours. Not worth running it. IOS IPhone 15
Was good
The new location feature, I think, should be optional as it requires both always on location setting plus background refresh. This will chomp through a battery much more quickly as well as spooking a while range of people :) Great on a Tablet or similar device with an external power source

So good for family and friends to be able to follow us and monitor our safety.
Cannot delete
Downloaded the app and prompt to pay a fee.. so I decided to delete my account which for some reason it’s impossible. It asked you to put your email address in again. BUT comes up with an error I have tried the number of times even tried to press Support but do not get anywhere.. would not recommend this at all..
Top class
Only signed up today.. still have to check all aspects yet, but what I’ve seen so far, it’s a professional and quality app. More to come in time.. stay tuned

App has most the info you need except depth, however the map view has tiny little symbols for the channel markers, they are impossible to see with a quick glance so not much use while you are moving. Can you make these bigger, and not just a couple of pixels, I’m talking like x10?
Needs simplified Log in
As we know batteries can go flat, then we need to recharge and log in again. My big concern is to sign in you need to go to an email, which is good if you have cell or wifi. To be able to log in using a password, finger print or facial recognition system would make life easier and safer when out of cell/wifi coverage.

Wants too much personal information
It really feels like a data harvesting system with a boating app attached. The amount of information they want to create an account more than I’m comfortable giving out to a random app. I don’t trust their motives, so it’s a no from me.

Found good reviews with sponsored sights. Claims that app is free. It's full of in app purchases. Even the Nautical map view needs an upgrade. What the?
Intracoastal waterway nav aid errors
This application is very easy to use and contains a lot of useful data BUT, many of the nav aid descriptions on the Intracoastal Waterway are incorrect. The red nav aids along the Intracoastal Waterway are always on the mainland side of the channel regardless of your direction of travel.

Not useable
I can’t even test it. I can’t click continue when it asks to create username 🤷♀️
Good ..But.....
A really good app but some tweaks are needed. For example there is no water shown (in blue) in the Wilson inlet in Denmark WA.......this makes the app pretty well useless for users in that area. However other surrounding areas are great! Well done!
Can’t sign in
Went to use the app and asks for email address, I’ve tried several times but I don’t receive the email to tap to sign in.
Warning data scam
This app follows everything you do, everywhere. Trying to delete it is impossible, it lingers on in the background stealing your data. Even when the app has been deleted from the Home Screen it remains in settings. Watch out folks.
Great boating app
Simple and easy to use. Love the ability to track where I’ve been and see it. It’s just like Stava for boating. Big thumbs up
Background location always?? Why??
Get rid of the constant pop ups asking to creepily track me when I’m not on the app.

Strange thing! I thought I was a Deckee Ambassador & was promised some promotional stuff. I contacted you some time ago to let you know nothing had arrived and you told me that whatever the stuff was would be sent. To date nothing. I have to wonder are we being fair dinkum? Maps
Had a look at the maps and where I live the map on here is not up to date as a lot of hones have gone up around us you need to upgrade the maps
Excellent app!
This app is a game changer! The interface is super user-friendly and easy to navigate. Incredibly useful for planning trips.. it’s like having a knowledgeable boating companion in my pocket. Highly recommend.
Can't figure it out
Forces you to login and forces you to run the app in the background always. Can't figure out how to measure distances as you cannot pull to adjust the from and to points. Can't add markers for planning without making them public. Trying to plan to an existing marker doesn't work. UI is unfathomable re planning. The Go feature recording a trip seems to work.
Very good app
The app has a lot of information and saves having to look in 10 different places to find it. Would be great to see a whole week worth of wind, tide, swell etc even if you have to turn it landscape to see it.
Boat ramps
Not all boat ramps are shown. For example, Dolphin Rd (West Busselton) & Old Dunsborough boat ramps are shown but Quindalup & Siesta Park are not.
Great boating app
Love this app - I use it every time I’m on the boats ! Great for seeing where others are and the shallow waters and where I’ve been 😂 Really handy to have the weather, tide and current and journey planner all in one place - and I use the weather warnings all the time :))
Useless in Darwin
This app uses mapbox images, unfortunately Darwin is covered in cloud so can't use it here and no option to switch chart service. Pro Charts, C-Map and GPS tracks all provide better functionality and with offline capability (Deckee is actually just a web app)
Feature Request
For the Western Australian Users Add a 400 meter buffer around Rottnest island and the Western Australian coastline to signify the crossover point between protected and unprotected waters. Ideally this would be done in the same fashion as the 8 knot speed area along the WA coast Other than that love the app
Stopped working
And just like that, it doesn’t work. Just the deckee symbol in middle of screen. And don’t reply with email us. Just fix it for everyone or at least post what problem is
Best app for boating and fishing I have ever seen.
This is a must have app if you are into any activity on the water , it has so many features that I use for not only boating and fishing but also for work and when planning trips to new regions . These are always being improved and new features are constantly being added .
Marine Park and No Fishing Zones??
I uploaded this app and the first thing I did was to check all the Marine Park and No Fishing zones at the Abrolhos lslands. They are not on your app! You’ve got aquaculture zones but not the zones I’ve mentioned which are on the Fisheries WA website! It would be pretty handy if you had these zones on your app so that fishers knew where not to fish!
