Law suit
The law letter was not caught by Americor. Our wages were garnished for almost $8k. We barely ate. I want to stop using Americor.
Fee
How much do I pay I would like to know how much you are going to charge me when I am out of debt? Am I going back into debt just to pay you? Dollar amount please.
I was told
When I started in the beginning I was told that I am in control of my account. I asked if I could skip a payment and was told I was good to go and congratulation’s your next payment will be on February fifth and my January payment will be skipped. I needed to skip that payment because of a financial situation I was in. The one of only problem is Americor took the payment from my bank for January putting my bank in the hole. Now, I have lost any confidence in Americor. I read a response from one of your customers that he was basically raked over the coals when he tried to get the loan you told us about to help get him out of debt sooner. The only problem with that was the interest rate was higher than the loan interest was way higher than regular credit card rates which is totally unacceptable. This doesn’t sound like a company that I would have trusted to handle such an important matter. Now I am in a situation where it seems I should have gone with someone else to handle my credit situation. Not sure if I made the right decision. Shame on you.
App crashes
Every time I open the app on my phone it doesn’t load I have tried deleting it reinstalling it changing password if I can even get past the code part, can someone please find out what’s going on with this app it was working before and suddenly just stop
Changed My Life!
My accounts were negotiated in just 3 months and I was able to complete the program in less than a year because I made large deposits. I’m now debt free, thank you Americor!

They stole from me 1500$ stay away from this scammer horrible people
Beware settlement fee
I had $12,888 a little over a year they settled for $9,537 but then they charged me $2,952 for settlement fees. It barely saved me money and they didn’t mention that much I also emailed my person and support trying to get info and I’m just ghosted. You’re better off trying to settle it with your bank

Bad Bad Bad
Debt Settlement is bad for your credit you pay them the program fees read fine print! you save very little money over all your creditors hate you and can send you to court and just by following program. Messes with your credit for 7 years very bad.

Since the update I haven’t been able to use the app tried deleting and reinstalling and same issue

Really loved it before. Now it gets stuck where I’m supposed to put my code.
Americor Is A Heartless & Deceptive Operation
Americor was NOT a Finance company when I was a client. They were a debt relief program. They claimed that they were a debit negotiations company! Yes I signed up because of my debit to income ratio. But what Americor doesn’t want you to know can hurt you. Today 1/30/26 I received a 1099c form from SYNCHRONY BANK. They funded my Lowes credit card. I reached out to Americor customer support about this. I asked why someone didn’t inform me about this? I was told that I should have read page three. I said if someone had disclosed this upfront I wouldn’t have used this service.I said that I signed the documents online. The agent said that I should have been adult enough to read all the documents. My wife passed away in October 2025. I don’t know how long I’m going to be able to survive financially. This has also set me back emotionally as well!

Went to update the app website and now I can’t get access to my account or anything. This update has gone horribly wrong. Can’t even get it to open now😡
Great Company
Never had a problem. All my questions were addressed. Representatives were polite and courteous.
Waiting
I was told this company would pay my debt off once I signed up. Well I have made SIX PAYMENTS TO THIS COMPANY and they still haven’t paid my credit cards off. I have NEVER been late in paying my creditors and now Americor has ruined my credit score and still have not paid my debts!! Don’t sign up with this company. My next call will be to my attorney!!!!!! Very dissatisfied!!
I was naive, but also got taken advantage of
I have always been financially smart and frugal. I applied for a loan and then immediately got a bunch of spam mail about more loans and loan debt consolidation. I ended up talking to an Americor staff member and was sold on that it wouldn’t permanently hurt my credit score and wouldn’t likely get issued 1099-C’s. I now feel like I got taken advantage of, I had the means to eventually pay the loans, but I thought this was a bulletproof way to save money for a temporary credit hit (6 months tops from how agent explained it). This was Nov 2021 and I finished Nov 2023. I had 25.5k debt. I ended up paying a grand total of 19.2k to Americor (saving 6.3k + whatever future interest) I got issued 14.3k of 1099-C debt cancellation that I had to report on my 2023 tax return (22% tax bracket so cost me 3.1k on taxes). So ended up saving 6.3k-3.1k=3.2k+interest. However my credit score immediately dropped once entered program (~750+ Oct 2021 pre program) and I have been in the 600-675 range from Nov 2021-Jan 2024. I don’t think the 3.2k+future interest savings was worth the poor credit (which l will be an issue for 7 years).
Americor - A Good Alternative
I appreciate companies like Americor being there as an alternative solution when financial times get difficult to navigate. Americor’s people are great, always polite and professional. They are there to support and answer questions.
Do not recommended
Did not tell me about such high fees when it comes to settling offers, put them in the back of my paper work. Doesn’t feel like such a big settle after the big percent they charge for doing it!! Might as well and negotiate yourself
App crashes and freezes
The app is unusable right now. The login screen is unresponsive and so is everything else. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and that still didn’t fix the problem.

iOS 18 issues
Unable to get the app to load past the welcome screen. Worked on iOS 17, works on iPadOS 18 but not iOS 18.
App quit working.
After the latest update the app stopped working. It will open to log in page then freezes after face scan, tried doing pin log in but the page was frozen as well.
Pay off process
Could not have been more supportive and helpful to eliminate my debt. Not 43 months but 15. Why because not only did I get support but I got coaching. Coaching that did not make me feel like a failure but a success. And then to waive the fee for the remainder of months and say we are not going to penalize him for following our direction but reward him for it. Thank you.
App doesn’t log me in
I have iOS 18.1. The app opens but when I attempt to sign in it just stays on the loading screen. I always have to log into the website rather than use the app because I can’t get in.

App won’t get past the loading screen.
After logging in the app hangs up at the loading/welcome screen. I have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times on different internet/wifi networks. Had a chat with support and was told “have you tried using the website” So I’ll just use the site until the app works. iOS 18.1 iPhone 13 Pro Max If that matters.
