Used to love this app
Just resubscribed but wish I hadn’t as app is buggy, freezing and I am having to close and restart…not the best. Have used for the last 5 years. Please get this sorted. I have done s full update on the app.
Just a niggly issue
The app is great and is the one I use most especially when in France Germany etc the only niggle i have is that town names are only visible when you are zoomed out. As you zoom in the town or village names disappear and you lose where you are and what area you are looking at. Other than that it’s a great app and the one I mostly recommend to new motorhomers
Can’t leave reviews!!!
This app was really good…but now it seems to have taken a backward step. It is simply impossible to leave a review. No wonder so many sites have no recent reviews. I’ve deleted & reinstalled but no use. Very disappointing as this was the “go to” app for motorhoming. Please sort it out!!!!

Everything you need and more!
First time of using the searchforsites app for a road trip around Spain. It came up with so many options catering for what needs you may required. Showed a number of traveler’s how we managed to find locations, and most of them instantly down loaded the app. The my list feature is extremely useful for planning trips and the navigation selection is a great option. Definitely our go to App.
Can’t register
To use the app you need to register. That’s fine but it won’t allow you to enter a vehicle length over 15 metres, despite listing sites suitable for motorhomes. Please fix!!
Useful
Useful mostly easy app, totally worth the sub. Good privacy policy (no data collected). Search function incomprehensible.
Doesn't support sensible complex passwords
As per title. Also only get error that not an alpha numeric password. So presume only allows 36 letters and the 10 numbers. Deleted.
Reviews
Since the last update There doesn’t seem to be any reviews on any of the sites! I’ve been using this app for a couple of years and always read the reviews, which usually made up my mind. This is why I’ve only given three stars instead of five.
An excellent resource
We have been using S for S for many years and have always found it a great resource when we are out in our Motorhome. The link to Google maps is particularly useful. Users do have to be aware that it doesn’t inspect sites, it relies 100% on feedback from users. If you find a price has not been updated or a location is wrong, don’t just complain. Update the information.

Good app for U.K.,
Have found it very useful. My gripe is writing a review. Or rather give the amount of stars. It takes ages to add whatever star you want to give a site. It should be easy, but it takes ages to add the star hence I do write many reviews on searchfor sites. Looking at the age of the reviews there are, I guess many just give up too.

Please do something about the sync update
I use this app a lot. I also travel a lot, which means I often get forced to update the app - which takes ages and loads of data. If you are on a mobile network this costs money. PLEASE: find a way to optimise the updates. It can’t be difficult to only the app data for a subset of the universe. Do I really to use my mobile data to get updates to locations 100’s of miles away?
Great App
Had the App for a couple of years now and used it regularly in England, Scotland and France. Really helpful App for travellers like us who don’t like to book to far ahead but would rather find somewhere when we’re driving through an area we find attractive. Found some awesome wild sites as well as commercial sites. I’m giving five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is not a free service
Beware. No mention on the app description that this is a subscription service. You only get to evaluate the app for a few days then must pay an annual subscription for the service. I have not even attempted to evaluate the app but I am only giving one star as the app description should be upfront about the subscription that is required
Best app for UK
This app works well and covers most sites in the UK. But you have to pay a small amount to be able to use it. Would like be able to see whether clubsites are open for non members and if/what extra charges do apply for non members.
Review star ratings for sites not accurate
I have reviewed a few sites, but noticed my star rating gets altered when submitted. One site my rating for facilities was 2 stars, upon submitting it changed to 5 stars! I have noticed this when reading other reviews, the comments do not match the star ratings given. I emailed for an explanation but none was forthcoming. The app otherwise is good, but to turn up at a site given high star ratings when reality is different spoils the holiday. Not renewing my subscription.
Brilliantly useful App
Since buying the Moho 5 years ago, I’ve tried this App plus others like Park4Night. Without doubt this is far above the rest, it saved its original cost of £5.99 the very 1st time I used it, and it’s been on auto renewal ever since !
Not Free
Only free for three days ! After that you must pay via website, not through App Store. Surprised this is allowed by Apple, and if nothing else is a security concern and an inconvenience.
I like to plan
I really enjoyed this app during the trial, signed up and since then all it ever does is freeze and/or kick me out. I make sure I sync each time I use it … this would be a fabulous app for avid campervanners but even when sat at home on WiFi it doesn’t let you get anywhere! If I could have my money back I would grab it as it’s causing me more stress than the joy I thought it would bring!
Top app. Took us around Europe
We had this recommended to us by a mate with a camper and it has proved invaluable. This app is a must if you like a bit of a European jaunt or just a Brit stop. We drove through France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland and didn’t book anywhere in advance, we just used the app to find our next stop. It is so easy to use, the map on the app is highly detailed and then the links to your maps apps takes you straight there. Love it.
Unable to login even though paid
I have paid for a subscription but it won’t let me login. Emailed support and no answer.
Ok but needs huge improvement
So far the app is useful. But, I have the app on a number of my devices, the ‘my lists’ does not sync on them all 🤬 I am having to search each one and add to each device, I’m fully paid up and find this time consuming and frustrating. Furthermore, the ‘my list’ section you should be able to list your saved sites as well as see them on a map. Small changes can make a massive difference to user experience. I hope it’s taken into account.
Best search site for caravan or motorhome tourers.
Believe me this is by far the best search site in the business. I have about 5 other search Apps on my phone, but this is all you need. It is very user friendly and intuitive, I love it.
Prices
Have been using search for sites for quite a while with paid version, we have tried to use it to plan our summer and winter touring, the app itself in great but the real issue is advertised prices. You can not use it to plan a decent tour, when you come to book with the owner of the site you have found on the app , in nearly all cases the price is much higher than advertised and is not monitored by Search for Sites in any way. Some sites are more than double what search for sites say they are. This is not good. You can not trust search for sites to have honest and accurate pricing information because they do not control it and the site owner can do what ever they want with the impunity of saying they don’t own search for sites.
Seems to have stopped working
Paid for the full subscription and the flippin thing has stopped working. Will only show me where I am which obviously I already know and won’t bring up any sites in other locations Uninstalled and installed again and still no luck Very disappointed

Awful
Great app, but has niggles
I’m travelling around France right now, and have used Park4night app along with this one, which has some great spots to camp in my van. I’ve found at least four great places which I’ve tried to submit on my iPhone 8 Plus, however when I try to add photos the submission won’t save or let me proceed. It’s so annoying I’ve given up trying. Please fix this app so submissions are easy, like other apps
Invaluable when touring
I’m more than happy to pay for this app. I get really fed up with so called ‘free’ apps that bombard you with nuisance advertisements. Since using it I have stayed on sites I wouldn’t have even known about in the past, despite being a motorhomer for over 20 years. I find the site reviews very helpful when route planning. They take most of the risk out of using less orthodox sites. I’ve had one or two bad experiences using private sites over the years, some of which I’ve taken one look and driven away. This app saves you all that trouble so thank you to the administrators and to the people who have taken the trouble to leave reviews.
Server issues
I have paid for subscription but have been locked out of the app. No email is received when trying for password reset and I have received no confirmation by email when sending an enquiry. I can only assume that nothing is getting through to you so I am continuing to be locked out. This review is my final attempt to get in contact as I can’t see any other way of doing so.

Just wanted to have a quick look, but requiring an account upfront seems a bit too much for my taste.

Asks for a username - you give it one , it says “it’s non- alphanumeric, so you give it a non-alphanumeric username and it says…it has to be non-alphanumeric !!!! Gave up trying , luckily as it’s not free according to other reviews.
Bug pour entrer le mot de passe
Il est impossible d’établir un mot de passe, soit l’application ne fonctionne pas et j’ai une barre jaune, impossible d’entrer le mot de passe, ou si je réussi, il met dit que le mot de passe n’est pas alphanumérique, alor qu’il l’est.
