Not a cyber gamer
But… this video game is a modern version of a boring game. Twists & bumps like every type of app game with rewards. The ones that stay more than a week have a chance to get more purchases. No extra purchases so far, but still enjoying LIFE
What happened?
This game used to be awesome play but now I can’t get pass the age pop up. No matter what age I put in and click confirm it doesn’t work. Really disappointed with this
2011 battleship
I played the old Low poly terrible graphics battleship when I was a little kid and now that I have my own phone and I am now an adult I kind of wanna play the old little Polly battleship again you know, we didn’t play battleship for the good graphics. We played battleship because it was a board game. You guys made it too complicated now and I gotta hold my phone sideways. I got a road trip coming up. I wish there was a way to roll it back to version 1.0.85.
Fun family Game
It’s real easy to play and I love how I can play solo or with specific people. Did have an issue at first but the developer was quick to respond and it got resolved. 😁
Game is broken
I want my money back ASAP!!! The game loads then stops on asking for my age, I’d type it in and press confirm, but doesn’t proceed from that screen at all. No matter how many times I type in random numbers and hit confirm, the screen is stuck on asking for my age. This is garbage! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
Almost perfect!
Lots of fun!!! Loved the fast pace and perfect amount of suspense after deploying a missile! A few recommendations: - There is a lot of unused space which could be used by making the board bigger. Fat fingers know the struggle is real. - Add the names of the ships when they’re sunk. The names we make up are hilarious, but boring people might need them. - At the end, leave the screen up longer so I can see into the mind of my opponent by his crazy ship placement. - Is there a way to turn on some sort of ominous music and explosion sounds? Thank you for your consideration!
The bot cheats
The ai bot always knows exactly where my ships are, and it gets torpedos and planes, where I don’t. It makes it frustrating. Best to play with real people.
No pass and play.
The game is what you would expect and fun to play however no pass and play which is disappointing. I got the game in the bundle and would say this is not something I would purchase on its own as there are many similar free apps of this game.
Need to fix!!!
There is a bug in game where purchasing commanders or maps does not work! I’ve tried restoring purchases does not work I’ve reached out to the studio and no help. I don’t know if it’s just something the developers can fix

The AI in this game cheats so bad. Who ever programmed this game must have a very bad complex about losing. Who ever you are you should be ashamed of your selves. Could be a good game if it didn’t cheat so much.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS DOESNT WORK ON MAC
Downloaded this game to have fun with a buddy who lives in another state now. This happened to not be sun because the “join game” button actually never works. I will consider changing my rating if someone tells me if this can be fixed or if the developers fix it themselves.
Needs some improvements
Imagine if each special (Commanders) action was associated with a type of ship. Lose that ship, and you can no longer perform that special attack. Also: the AI cheats. And when it does, it’s very obvious and lazy about it.
I agree
It is amazing how a hit can be scored in the middle of a ship and it knows where to go the other way to finish it off. Also in commander mode how does it let the opponent get to use whatever ordinance despite not having the points that i am required to i.e. firing a torpedo with 2 points or an air strike with 4 when i need 9 to?
Pay 2 win : if your willing to spend additional money
Online players get additional special moves much quicker than I because they’ve spent money on other commanders. I have to wait to use special moves until I have enough points but opponents use them every turn.
Awesome game
I love the game. Super simple and it’s anybody’s game to win just make the right picks to hit a ship and it’s fair. Just don’t like that I bought the shower collection and for some reason it hasn’t given me the content. If the app ppl are reading this I want that content lol

Nothing like repeatedly losing 3 ships in a row. The AI cheats BAD. Not every time, not every day but it will happen over and over. Worse than playing with a 6 year old

Buggy
in-app purchases don’t work. Have to write in for a refund. Tried to fill out a help ticket on their site and it wouldn’t submit. Shoddy attention to detail.
Needs turn timer
I love this game a lot, but I just wish there was a timer for each turn when playing online. I’ve come across so many players who will take an extremely long time to go their turn or they will just suddenly stop playing and I’m forced to wait minutes or forfeit the game. :(
Battleship rules!
Super fun phone game that passes the time. I yell and laugh at my screen regularly when losing or winning a match.
Enemy turns need a timer
Frustrating when I’m one move away from winning and the other person just refuses to take their turn so the only option is to forfeit. I play this game almost daily and now I don’t think I can anymore. Maybe it’s a bug idk but it ruins the game.
Good game , missing something
When you play solo offline, that always the same captain you fight against, can it be random or can we change it?
AI always wins
It’s fun until it’s not. About 90% of the time when you find the last ship but miss sinking it, the AI miraculously finds all of your remaining ships so you lose. Deleting this game. I’d rather play the real game with my kid.

The game is okay to play, I like the backgrounds and the characters of the officers. I like the challenges that you can try and achieve too, it the only thing is after buying the app, you still have to purchase more content to get full access. The board is quite small on an XS phone so some of the time it’s hard to be accurate and aim.

Cheating
This app would be great if it wouldn’t allow so much cheating. I can’t tell you how many opponents I’ve played online that get to use their special ability every other turn. This is not possible mathematically and yet it happens all the time. This would be a great online game otherwise

I literally played at opponent online who had no ships. Nothing to hit. If you don’t buy all the extra stuff everyone else has cheats against you. No way to contact the developer. Don’t waist your money and time
V Good
As expected from Hasbro and good quality. Better Salvo and the like would be appreciated and other bits and pieces as has been covered by others. Enjoying game just needs added extras.
AI knows where everything is
Fighting against ai isn’t fun as it’s landing every shot on medium. How do I go 7 turns without hitting anything but in those same 7 turns the AI sunk 3 of my boats….
Commanders Mode is glitchy
The game play is great when it is working! Unfortunately the commanders mode playing with friends is very glitchy. It does not show uses of the abilities and does not show hits or misses at times. Please update and fix the app!

This game has nice graphics and sound effects, is quick enough to play anytime. All around fun!
Cheats
It 100% cheats. If it has a 25% chance of choosing the right shot, it ALWAYS gets it. There’s no way it wins as often as it does without cheating.
Best Video game Version
If you don't have the board game...This is has more modes than the board game..It has 2 different modes of play... It's easy to understand. The CPU difficulty modes are hard. If you do play single player, you're better off playing this on easy....Normal and hard are way too hard. You can play online or online vs your friends...Great game.
Fun but…
Fun and much faster paced than the board game, but there are no free female characters? Really? Downgraded to two stars-constantly kicking me off and ending the game—very unstable.
Multiplayer is bad
Can’t play multiplayer, one device will randomly disconnect and not reconnect even though I have great wifi speeds often I can’t even get the game started with multiplayer.

First I am going to say that the small price for this game is worth it. This game is just like the original game we had as kids. One thing is lacking. . .maybe in an update. The game either needs to automatically say, “You sank my battle ship!” Or a button if the person whose battle ship is sunk can push if so inclined.
