A teacher learning to teach
Im just an American teacher trying to invest so that I can secure my future. This platform is giving me gems so that I can understand and at least try.
Basically unusable if you don’t pay
I’m sure it would be a decent app if you payed the £25 a month subscription but if you don’t, 90% of all articles and features are locked behind the pay wall. Fair enough if you make some ‘premium features’ behind pay walls but articles?? It just makes this app seem like some cash grab instead of a finance news app

The daily briefs and the free articles are great unfortunately a lot is behind paywall which I understand as it’s full of information but I would be more happy to pay if it was slightly cheaper that’s all.

This app is trash, plus $200 a year!?
there’s no port builder or ability to dive easily into leveraging the app it’s clustered, crowded and just a honey pot of research AI could and is probably doing for it.

I don’t like this one
Most stuff is locked behind a paywall with only a few different people writing articles, I’d rather just listen to a podcast for my market information. Honestly I feel like this app could do more in the information category, but 80$ a year for news is just rediculous to me.
Bad Design
Okay, so the content is great, no denying it, and worth it just for that. But after a few months of using the app, I have to say the design is not good. Sometimes my daily brief, or another interesting article pops up on a notification, and once I close it I just can’t find it again. The daily brief should just be at the top of my feed all the time. And one of the reasons for this is, the feed isn’t in date order? Why? Sometimes the second article will be from months ago and no longer relevant. Feel like they just have the content and have been lazy with the design.

Great for the beginner
Easy to make sense of & useful & cheap. It needs a trading platform & the ability to use bot tools for signals & test them like you can on MetaTrader which is a hard way to start as a trader it’s just not digestible to the average new person. Once you have enough knowledge and experience you will find it less valuable than other platforms that allow you to trade as well. You grow out of it but you will find it useful & cheap in your first year. I have a years sub & I still use and have no problem with the app.

I had a subscription that I bought through the App Store which was great and I got lots out of it and cancelled it after a year and didn’t think about worrying about it again, about a year later I look at my bank statement and they have auto renewed me another full year. You think you cancel on the App Store and they say you signed up on there website and charge you again.

Price too high
If i wanna invest, then as much money as possible. But for an app, that has basically articles about investing i need to pay 100€/$ a year? When teaching finance wisdom costs that much money it isn‘t independently. I‘m thinking of how much money the developers get in total. Other developers are more human with prices and the main goal is teaching finance and not profit alone..
What's with the ai voice
Guys, please stop with the ai voice. It's ruining the daily brief for me. It pronounces abbreviations like EU (European Union) as "eww" and pronounces $7billion as "7 dollars billion"......like cmon...

Needs improvement
The daily briefs are never early enough in the day. All updates are done after markets open. And that’s really a down side, even Bloomberg radio gets information out before 7am

Not as advertised! Also, there’s no free version. Plus the free trial is too short and will make you pay for the full year if you forget to cancel after 7 days.

Analysis is good, but it would be better if they could have a section on forecasts.
Not worth the money
I’m disappointed by how infrequently they update content. And very annoyed that when you cancel your subscription they don’t give you back your money for the unused period. That’s not how you treat your customers. If they decide to walk away, do the decent thing and refund the pro rats portion of the subscription.
Why the GenAI voice?
I was already a bit frustrated about not being able to just play things in order, but switching to an artificial voice is then nail in the coffin for me. It’s awful. Cancelled my subscription.
The information you need!
Stop worrying on trying to figure out where to invest. This app gives you all the info you need so you don’t need to spend hrs and hrs doing your DD. This helps big time!
21,59$ THERE’S NO FREE TRIAL
They charged me $21.59 for the free trial, isn't it supposed to be a FREE TRIAL? In the app itself there is not even the option to contact someone from technical support, there is no number, email or even a support chat and there is no option to directly request a refund. And yes, I canceled the subscription as soon as I redeemed the free trial so that they wouldn't charge me after the 7-day trial but they still charged me that amount.

Good for beginners that want to get their foot in the door but I wish they covered news in every industry of stocks or maybe I’m navigating the app wrong?

Signed up for the free trial and wanted to play around. I am not a beginner investor and thought this would save me time and effort (as their marketing campaigns say). Was not able to read details in the articles I was curious about - and kept getting the “subscribe here” to read this. Very frustrating. Couldn’t get an idea of the app or how it could benefit me. Suggestion to allow the daily brief to be free for all users. Maybe if I got something out of it I might start to see the benefits. Right now I do not see the benefit.
Good info bad interface
How can you implement a back button which takes me back to home page instead of previous page? Followed a link in article? To bad, here is the home page, scroll and find your article again. Clicked on one notification and now want to read article from another notification? Too bad, there is no way to find it ever again!
Solid app
Would be much better if you could continue to listen to the podcasts while reading articles on the app and some podcasts cut off randomly halfway through.
Political Bias
You can’t can’t recognize that the economy under Trump was the strongest that the US economy has ever seen, easily provable with multiple data points. So then you proceed to write an email knocking what the economy would be like under another Trump administration. It’s incredible how many stupid people there are in this world because they can’t get over their political bias and look at overwhelming data. It’s amusing to watch an “economy” app try to spin this.
Need a proper iPad app.
I’ve been using this app on my iPhone and loving it. Only thing that is missing is an iPad version of it. Hopefully the devs are working on it.
