Best
Love Feit security cameras and dimmers. Dimmers are a bit hard to set but once you catch the pattern is ok . I got 12 dimmers , all my house and they work perfect. The cameras are the best for who doesn’t want a monthly paid service . They connect and respond super fast to your app/ phone. One big disappointment is Feit doesn’t upgrade their security cameras to 2.5 k or 4 k faster while a lot of Mickey Mouse brand already flooded the market with 2.5 k . Same Feit quality in 2.5 or 4k is long overdue.
Complete garbage
Nothing works right everything is slow it always says system busy it dosnt send codes to my email 1/5 I can use my light in the morning because it wants to update and nothing on this app works

No Away Mode
I don’t understand why Feit has not added an “Away” or “Vacation” mode in their app. I think it’s pretty basic functionality to allow a way to have lights randomly turn on and off while you’re away. But Feit does not provide this basic feature.
App used to work better
This app used to work great when I first got Feit lightbulbs. Unfortunately, since one of the major iPhone updates a while back when the widgets were gone, things have not worked well. The widgets are back but they don’t work for me as pressing the specific bulb to turn on/off yields no action. A long press just takes me to the app itself. And for some reason, every time I go into the app to turn my light on/off, it tells me I have to turn my Bluetooth on first which was never needed before. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced the ads other reviewers mentioned (knock on wood). But it’s a bit frustrating that something that used to work perfectly no longer does. Instead of being convenient, it’s an annoyance.
App is so easy to use
I bought the Feit smart bulbs after trying out the Kasa, smart bulbs. These bulbs were so much easier to program. The app is so easy to use with my iPhone. I have programmed my bulb for all different colors. The color stays until I change it.
Garbage light bulbs
Literally all it does is keeps flashing. I’ve tried resetting it. I’ve tried turn it off and off multiple times three times at least it just keeps flashing. The app doesn’t detect it.
Great my Glitchy
Overall, it’s wonderful and works good! Definitely worth getting. But the glitches are very annoying. It can sometimes be very delayed in turning off, I’ll click it and it won’t turn off unless I restart the app a few times, and sometimes it’ll say a light is offline even though it’s on.
Remember Wi-Fi!
I use this app and my lights on exactly one WiFi network. Why does the app need to request my location and then fallback to manual entry every time I need to re-add my lights after my kid flips the light switch repeatedly? Why does only one bulb out of 3 in the same fixture successfully connect? Why can’t I just use the app to tell the other 2 bulbs to leave pairing mode?
Auto-Log Outs Not Helpful
Generally, a very good and functional app. Connects to the lights relatively quickly. The app logging you out and making you agree to the privacy agreement every time you open it is so so needless.

Youre better off finding a bulb that lights to your preferred setting on default or one that comes with a remote, the app is impossible to use and constantly wants to updateC its a light bulb, just make it work guys, come on
Good, could be better
App is easy enough to use but sometime it will glitch and I’ll push one device to turn on or off and another will turn on. Also it needs a DARK MODE feature. I use it in the middle of the night to get up with kids and it’s just way too bright white.
Bulbs make a sound
I have enjoyed the bulbs other than the nuisance after power outages, but most colors, other than white, make a buzzing sound especially when turned brighter. For this reason, I am looking for a different brand of bulbs.
Bulbs are going offline
Something has changed. Never had issue before but now my bulbs are going offline than online. Wifi has no issues.

Won’t Connect
Can’t connect device to wifi. No idea why we need to involve the internet to control a light that’s in the same room with me. How about just letting us connect to the thing directly?

Great Product but Smart Scenes Don’t Update
Great product but we have issues with lights flickering and the smart scenes don’t seem to update if you make changes
Ads now??
I’ve had FEIT bulbs for years. The app is a little hit or miss in terms of functionality, but it is fine overall. I will not be buying any new FEIT products unless the ads are removed, though. Adding them was a terrible decision.
Feedback and Suggestion
This app does not update or identify the power off/on state of the dimmer/smart switches. Requesting to add “Timer” feature like other smart switches/plugs like Globe
Update made to app have made the experience better
Update: there have been updates to the app where I can now individually schedule times for each of my lights instead of running scenes - this has been working reliably and I can now automate my light times. Instructions to reset offline lights are easy and my app remembers them so I don’t have to restart from scratch. ————————————————————— Love the idea and the ease of the app. My issues are that the smart scenes are great to start but when you select an end time they do not turn off the lights - I still need to manually turn off the lights. Also recently one of my dimmers went offline, was working fine for months and now it just isn’t working anymore.

Logging out
This is supposed to make life easier, but in the last month I’ve had to log back in 4 times. Keeps saying security token expired. This shouldn’t happen. I have apps that have had their login info stay solid for years. Other than that this is a great product, far better than HaloHome that takes 20-30secobds or more to find a single switch that I’m standing right beside. If it wasn’t for the password issue this would easily rate 5+ stars. I’ve also started using my Apple Watch more and I can’t turn light on or off on the watch, without first stating the app on my phone. WHY???
So frustrating
STOP running the forced ad that is taking over the entire screen! I invested to much money and time setting up 8 bulbs, 3 plugs, 3 cameras & a light strip to have to deal with this. I WANT A REFUND!!! Other complaints… •Notifications for cameras should have more Customization. I want to hear the door bell ring but I don’t need to know every time someone walks past my door. •Lights say they are off line on my iPad but not on my iPhone. •Lights constantly have to be reset then reprogrammed with all my scenes, automations & shortcuts. •Setting up rooms or groups is very confusing. •Many of the settings are very confusing. •Over all the app needs a better design, clear language & to be more user friendly.

couldn’t change the colour of my strips until i went to the devices list, clicked the three dots and selected “list view”, then i could change the colours - bad app design but try this if you’re struggling
Good app but missing feature for Apple Watch
I like the Apple Watch version of the app that lets you execute shortcuts and control, smart dimmer switches and more but the only thing it doesn’t let you control is the brightness there’s no option which I know it’s possible please bring this to the Apple Watch
Outdoor plug’s & light switches
These are fantastic products. Quality is excellent. Easy to hook up and program. I have been using approximately 20 devices at two locations and I can’t say enough about how well these two products work. Very happy with the software for dimming, timer’s and group's.
Takes too long to connect
Nightmare. I’ve been using feit for years and I think I’ve had just about enough self punishment. Sometimes it works fine, but often not. You have to fiddle with it constantly. Recently, the app updated or something and now you have to have your Bluetooth on and wait a bit before you can even use your lights. Not safe as I can’t quickly turn on a light at night.

I got the bulb from Costco and it’s not working on my light just downstairs its currently not working great but just not working 🙁🙁

Some things that could be improved
The switches cause the lights to flicker at all intensities The switch cannot be set to full intensity . Set the switch to 100% and then push the plus / up switch and the lights get brighter

Great ideas, bad follow through
Will not purchase this brand any further. I originally purchased two A-19 base bulbs for my coach lights outside my garage. They worked okay for a while but then would turn off randomly. The app wouldn’t follow the schedule. I changed them out to another brand and have never had an issue. Now I’ve purchased RGB strip lights that were supposed to chase each other and be fun for a game room. That is not the case. The colors are horrendous to what they claim to be. There are random sections of the strip light that sometimes work and sometimes don’t. The app control is just as bad, adjust the brightness and it adjusts the color, two sets of strips and I can’t sync them together with the same color. These products were sent with remotes to which neither of them work.

iOS 18 dropped support for legacy widgets
I love using the widgets to turn on and off my lights, and able to glance which lights are on without opening the Feit app. Now iOS 18 dropped support for the widget, is there any plan to introduce the widgets using Apple's new widget system?
Improvement
When on all dimmers please show the % without having to go to list. Have a numeric scale option so it’s just not by the bar scale.
5 stars but needs improvement
The 1% setting is still too bright on my smart lights . I wish to put it as low as it used to be when i had no smart dimmer. I’m sure it’s controlled by apps
Don’t waste your money
Edit to update - even with Bluetooth on, this still insists that it’s unable to connect. The app is ridiculous. I don’t need a help file or FAQ. I need an app that actually works. I’m never buying this garbage again.
Good product
Enjoying the lightbulbs 💡 I think service went down once to my knowledge in all years had product… not so great with Alexa but fine on most other devices 😉
Doesn’t perform as annouced
As an example, turning on the lights at sunset doesn’t work accordingly, the lights turn on always at 4:30 PM and stay like that everyday eventhough the sunset changes everyday. I contacted Feit technical support but nothing has changed !!!!
