App issues
When trying to transfer funds I’m always getting an error. That apps has no updates and the website is doing the same thing
Long time user
I have been using this card for 8 years. I cannot move my own money from checking to savings without being told that I cannot and the most embarrassing is when I need to move savings to checking and it denies me!!!!! Get it together for your most loyal customers please!
App problems
Not reflecting properly. Paid a bill and it still says the money is in my account. And before that my cash app transfer wasn’t going through

Terrible
I’ve used this app for years and it’s been terrible the entire time. For the past six or so years it has continuously glitched out. At multiple points in time, I would get to the store and try to access my card then the app would glitch making me lose access to my money for up to an hour. I don’t know how it has stayed terrible for so long. Use anything else.
Works when it feels like it
I’ve had a lot of issues with this card over the last 5 years. When it works it’s decent, I like the “stash” and “unstash” feature. Aside from that, the app has been getting CONSTANT error messages over the last week, and won’t open for no reason when the password is correct. Trying to move money around is next to impossible, and to call customer service is a waste of time, since it’s pretty impossible to understand anyone, let alone actually get help. The concept of the card is great, but the actual application of it is a fail and a frustrating experience.
Ugh
I have been using this card for over 7 years now and I love it when it actually works!! I always have a problem moving money from the vault to my available balance!! Every single time I need to move money there’s an issue. Sometimes it takes hours to have access to my money!! Hours!!! That is ridiculous!! It would also be great if we would be able to see our deposits pending like a normal bank!!!
Great! Most of the time..
I have been using this card and “bank account” service for many years. It’s awesome ! Most of the time. I don’t like that I can’t talk to a real person. That would make this perfect. I had to wait over 2 months to gat a new card not too long ago. While your waiting for a card, your account is FROZEN. Can’t use ANY type of money transfer app, atm, move it from savings to checking, NOTHING. That was a VERY HARD 2 months. They assured me it would never happen again but we’ll see… I have to get a new card and I’m dreading it.. I’ll let y’all know. Other than that!! It’s been wonderful.
Can’t access money
Card will glitch out and not allow you to load into card. Once you finally get it to load in. You go to help section tells you to uninstall app and re download and it just made it worse. Can’t access your money now. If you don’t have extra money good luck getting through you day. Seen this happen more frequently now to.
Stopped working
My app stopped working weeks ago and I have not been able to get it back.
App glitches
App works great when it works.. today I’m trying to access my account to get money out the vault and it keeps not letting me in the app saying something about processing.. it happens to much.. I suggest use another account for funds that you may need access to immediately

And going strong! Never had any issue that couldn’t be fixed on my end or the card’s end. Excellent service each time.

Stash feature
it’s time to fix the bug on the unstash feature, it doesn’t work all the time but the app is decent
****DO NOT USE THIS FOR DIRECT DEPOSIT OR ANYTHING AT ALL****
Your funds won’t be accessible at all times, when they do their ”scheduled maintenance” you won’t be able to “unstash” money, leaving you in a predicament that you won’t be able to access your money at all period whatsoever, until they resolve the issue on their end and their “maintenance” is done. Secondly, my card expired today and I have my only money sitting in this account and I have absolutely no access to it and I have to wait for them to send a card to the correct address. That is after having to email them my photo id to verify it’s actually me because supposedly their security questions they asked me were wrong. Apparently turbo knows more about me and my life than I do. So now I have to wait for them to process my email, and then, only then, will my card be sent in the mail. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS TO KEEP ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY WHATSOEVER. IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD. SOMEONE SHOULD REPORT THESE PEOPLE TO BETTER BUSINESS BEREAU.
Needs update
App needs update for glitches. Too many times when I’m logging in it says “There was a problem logging in”. It’s really irritating when I need to see my account or unlock vault.
Waste of time
Just use the website, the app has a persistent log in error that needs to be fixed.

In my opinion I feel that they should have upgraded to virtual cards. The option to expedite the card when it’s being replaced
This app doesn’t update my balance
The current version of my app and most of them for the past year will not update my balance for days on end. I can add money to my card and nothing happens. Even after I use the card at stores, nothing changes. This is completely unsettling because you don’t know how much money you have. This can lead to completely embarrassing interactions.
Low Security Holds Your Money
First off they hold your money as long as legally possible before releasing funds and making them usable which is why I won’t move my payroll deposits to this card. Second, security is low. Can’t use special characters for passwords and if you try to use Face ID which adds safety, it cuts it off every few days. It’s like they wants security to be its lowest.
Do NOT use this
I’ve had card/app for almost 7 years. Since the beginning, there have been sporadic issues of me not being able to move money from my stash into my checking, causing the most absolutely embarrassing and infuriating moments of my life. Imagine going out to dinner, getting the check, and not being able to pay because you can’t move money from your savings to your checking. Any other banking institution would fail from such an inconsistent feature. That is why I am telling anyone who reads this, do not use this card long. While getting paid sooner is nicer, it’s ultimately frustrating to not be able to use your card regularly like anyone else. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been somewhere and I haven’t been able to pay because the app isn’t working. Or I’ve had to cancel appointments because I wasn’t able to move the money around to pay for it. Absolutely no one should have to deal with these frustrations. And the customer service people cannot help you. They’re 3rd party contractors that have no connections to Greendot. After writing this review, I will be free of their curse. Do not fall for the same trap I did for years. It doesn’t get better and in fact, has only gotten more frequent as time passes.
