Why low rating?
Don’t get why the rating is only 3 star it does everything it’s suppose to do and can watch live tv and movies from anywhere. What else do you want it to do???

The apps used to work fine for me showing all and only the programs I want to watch. Now it’s been upgraded it only shows programs by selecting individual channels. This is now a complete nightmare. WHY DON’T YOU PEOPLE LEAVE THINGS ALONE THAT WORK ?
Impossible
How many times do you have to verify your email address. Each time I try to log in it goes back to verify Your email address. I gave up after 5 times.
Unable to play
Virgin Tv Go is one of my favourite entertainment apps but recently I put it on my iPad and it’s been weird when I try to play something it says not available but if you click on and of it continuously it does work I just don’t know how to fix it. I don’t think it’s my iPad but ….

Gone downhill
Not sure why but it’s not that great to use anymore… trying to record something for later on via the app just comes up with Oops a lot. Currently a waste of time! Sep 2026.
Great until recently.
There’s been an issue with recent series - I don’t know if it’s just sky Atlantic series, but the episodes won’t play properly on the app. Audio isn’t synced to the video, and the audio will just cut out suddenly. I tried to raise this with virgin media but no luck….
Freezing
Keeps freezing when fast forwarding have to close and restart the watched program. Pain to have to keep bringing the box out of standby to watch anything on the app. Also regularly refuses to delete programs. Frustrating … fix the bugs.

Sounds glitch
Why is it that I haven’t been able to watch anything on the tv go app for weeks because of the sound glitches from the start of a program?! I’ve deleted app and reinstalled but no difference. The same on phone and pad
Live tv fail
When watching live tv on the app I often get a “you’ve reached the max” message saying too many devices are using the app at the same time. I’m the only one using the app so that would be impossible.

Ive been with virgin since tellywest same account for years now the app has updates and will no longer take my account i now have to make a virgin o2 account im not impressed virgin
Security fail - login resolved
Havnt been able to login with passkey for months. Had to visit virginmedia02 website and enable password which is says to not do - that allows me to login to the app. They need to work on their logins better to work with passcodes that work with the website.

Tried to record a programme and it says it can’t do it because my box is not on when the box IS on and about four feet in front of me.

Repeatedly freezes picture, or totally disconnected. Sometimes every couple of minutes

Terrible app you can’t login you cannot watch on the go…have a look at how other apps work and start a fresh…hint hint Netflix
Keeps asking to replace device
So bad - keeps asking me to re-register my device even though I have already and then maxes out after 3. This is in the same viewing session without anyone else adding/deleting other devices. Please sort this out!
Virgin TV NOT on the Go
App requires you to be connected to your home WiFi, which totally defeats the objective of being on the ‘Go’. Virgin, why on earth would anyone want to watch their TV through the Virgin tv go app over the TV that’s already in the house!? Seriously the Product manager should be embarrassed. If this is not the intended MVP, I’d seriously suggest changing the name. IE Remove GO.
Rubbish
Been using tv go for years, mostly due to me travelling for work and it was handy, vpn on and go, boom. Now got the latest tv box. And it doesn’t work, nor does the remote control app. Yes they still charge more than the previous setup I had. Yet their app will not tell me my account can no longer use these apps, why NOT??
Another disappointing Virgin Experience
I can stream on every other platform, including free ones bbc, itv etc. I try this one and it’s constantly going to circle spinning. Not even making it to buffering and stop / start. For a media company this is a very poor effort, but from comments it is par for the course
