Terrible user interface and unreliable app. InTaxi people should take a look at the Uber app user experience, learn and invest more of their bucks.
Da migliorare
È comoda perché permette di gestire chiamate e prenotazioni e anche di visualizzare dove si trova il taxi in arrivo. Purtroppo a volte accade che la geolocalizzazione non funzioni e quindi indichi via o numero civico completamente errati e il taxi va altrove. È successo anche di annullare una prenotazione ma al taxi non risultava ed è arrivato comunque. Altre volte accade invece che a me non risulti più una prenotazione in lista senza che mi sia arrivato alcun messaggio di annullamento. Insomma sarebbe fantastica risolvendo questi piccoli problemi.

Still requires Italian Phone Number to Register
In 2026, even Italian companies offering taxi services should not require an Italian phone number to use them. Get it together! I’ve used many other services around the world so Im really not sure what the issue is here? I contacted their CS and never got a response

App molto pratica e funziona bene, piccola pecca: quando prenoti quando la prenotazione é presa in carico sparisce dalla lista delle prenotazioni e non arriva nessuna notifica di conferma e quindi si può pensare sia stata cancellata.
servizio è stato altamente insoddisfacente
Il servizio è stato altamente insoddisfacente. Nonostante abbia esplicitamente comunicato il nome della via ed il numero civico, alcuni autisti, incluso quello di oggi, utilizzano solo il nome della via nei loro sistemi di navigazione. Il risultato è che si fermano a 400 metri di distanza. Nel tempo che impiego a raggiungerli iniziano a girare intorno il che rende impossibile incontrarli. Poiché non è possibile contattare l’autista è impossibile dare istruzioni o accordarsi sul punto esatto di incontro. Se, come nel mio caso, si viaggia per lavoro secondo tempi ben organizzati, questo servizio è davvero inaffidabile. Ciliegina sulla torta: il tassametro inizia subito a contare i minuti, quindi se si è così fortunati da riuscire ad incontrare l’autista, si è costretti a pagare tutto il tempo perso a causa della mancanza dell’autista stesso causata dal mancato inserimento del numero civico
UX da migliorare
Quando si seleziona un indirizzo, l’app lo modifica automaticamente, rendendo difficile confermare quello corretto. Ho dovuto correggerlo tre volte prima di riuscire a selezionare l’indirizzo giusto. Inoltre, dopo aver effettuato una prenotazione, bisogna attendere la conferma prima che questa compaia nell’app. Sarebbe molto più utile se la prenotazione venisse mostrata subito nella sezione dedicata, con l’indicazione “in attesa di conferma”.

I was not able to get through the sign up process, so not able to use the App. Nor the option of getting the msn message or the phone call worked for me

Tutto bene ma l’App deve essere migliorata per gli utenti che non conoscono la zona di prelievo. Nel mio caso l’App non permetteva il prelievo all’indirizzo prescelto ma indirizzava al punto di prelievo più vicino in una via non conosciuta. Una mappa guidata al punto di prelievo aiuterebbe molto. Grazie

Verification Code Never Sends
First thing you need to do on the app is put in a phone number and it says it will send you a text. I’ve tried 4 times and I never get the verification code (currently in the US, so SMS text messages are not an issue). Hoping someone can fix this before I leave for my trip to Italy.

Highly unreliable during weekends - considering the lack of private alternatives in Italy, this is a major flaw. The drivers are usually professional, and do not bother the clientele which is visibly not in the mood for a chat, usually…

Does not work in Perugia
Beware if you’re in the town center of Perugia that this app will not work. I had to run down the mountain to the train station and missed my train because the app could not find a location despite me entering the address from google. Hopefully it works better in other locations.
Easy way to book Taxis in Lake Como
Cannot fault the drivers / taxi journeys themselves and used this app regularly in lake Como over Easter. The app is good as it allows you to select pick up location / drop off in app and then when you click book will proceed to a holding screen with a countdown to finding you a taxi. This service won’t always be possible, as we found was the case on bank holidays and in the evening when we needed a taxi for 6 people. Although payment functionality is possible in app (I think), this app is more for the booking of a taxi itself as when I asked one of the drivers now we could pay by card, we paid via SumUp instead. For this I then cancelled the journey in the app. We paid based on the meter within the taxi that arrived. Each taxi tended to charge slightly different rates and an estimate of the cost is not possible in the app. The app would give an est of arrival when it books a taxi, but this does not update in the app, so best setting a timer after the page originally loads , as only in some cases does the map update with the taxis location.
App works great…
… unfortunately no taxis available on a Friday night 12.30 am, in city center of Milan. Italian taxisti are a plague, they don’t allow Uber and want to work office hours. Taxi driver wasn’t aware I was going to pay with the app but was nice enough about it… We want Uber back! Especially in small towns where there is no public transportation.

Easy to schedule a ride. Driver was even a little early and got us to the airport quickly!! He was helpful, friendly and efficient!!
App only works for Italian phones
Seems to require Italian phone as you cannot register with any other phone number. You can’t even call them to get a cab as the contact numbers on their website don’t answer.
