Stats STILL Behind Despite Update
Spotify has still failed to deliver a competent artist-sided app despite another update. Information is behind by days and is non-sequitur.

Started off with issues but customer feedback team were very helpful and easy to contact. It’s actually a great app that provides very useful tools to keep track of analytics on my music
Useless
Considering the size of Spotify, this all is especially disappointing. I’m a new artist and have been trying to use it to make updates, but it won’t do anything. It keeps moving my profile picture to cut off my head. It won’t save my bio, which I’ve added several times. I finally deleted the app. Maybe I’ll try again in a while for the statistics side of things and see how it does there.
FIX THIS
I really liked the live streams feature and I need it back it disappeared with the update now it stays the same forever

Inconsistent data
Nice try clearing my 1 star review. I’ll keep putting it back every week to remind you how bad this app is. Could it update on time everyday or anything? The playlists data is totally wrong. The date ranges are bad now. No dark mode. This is hardly an app. How is there no dark mode? App crashes so often. Nothing loads. No way to refresh data without force closing the app.

Unusable
I can’t even get passed the first screen that says login. Fix your broken app. Login and it goes right back to login screen to login again so I login again and it goes right back to login so I have to login again over and over and over again to login again after already logging in it asks me to log in again after already attempting to login after logging in.

Can you add a sign in with email?
Hello! I was just wondering if you could add a sign in with email? Signing in with Facebook isn’t working for me, and I don’t like signing in with google or my apple account. Please fix this!
New version of the app
I love Spotify for Artists but I have too much on my phone to upgrade iOS and the new version of the app won’t work anymore unfortunately. I may change phone one day and use the app again

Needs improvement!!!
I loved utilizing this app to monitor my analytics, but after a few days, the main screen kept freezing on a daily total and no longer reflected real time metrics. I uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times, but saw no improvement. The app is great in theory, but needs some drastic overhaul for stability and reliability.

I am unable to update my phone to IOS 18, which means I can't use this app anymore. ☹️

horrific
someone said very buggy LOL!! listen to them. this app/website sent life changing opportunities to hundreds of artist working to get up there and get their music out but turns out it was just a bug. mind you the bug says “fresh finds FORWARD” which is absolutely AMAZING if you actually get it. my family got one and turns out oops it was JUST a bug. insane if i could do more than a review for the mental damage it has done, TRUST ME i would. Do not pay too much mind to what pops up on your screens!!!

Can’t log in
I don’t know if it’s due to a recent update or what, but I somehow got logged out of my account on the app. I can’t remember my password and when I click “log in without password” it just routes me back to the same screen to enter it. When I click “log in with Apple” it says there’s an issue and can’t log me in that way. I haven’t been able to access my account for weeks because of this.
Could do better
It takes a lot of time for the statistics to be updated and something that is seriously missing is the ability to see the all numbers from the release date and not only from the last 12 months

Every time I kept logging in with my email it would send a code to my mail and I'll put the code in but it would NEVER EVER log me in. It would just take me back to the welcome page.

more control over artistic choices
you should make it so we can change the color on the automatic “ featuring artist “ playlist background color that spotify generates, and just have even more artistic control over the art and visuals in general

…unless I reinstall it. I think your latest update is buggy. This happens on two different iPhones. Otherwise, good app!
Update required mean app blocked from use
I’m on an old phone. It was working fine, then it suddenly says you need to update, but I need iOS 18 to do that, so I can’t update the app. Will try and use it online instead, but it’s a hassle logging in with the security check each time.
Really good statistics
This is actually a really good app. A lot of the other ratings I find unjust. The stats this gives are amazing, updating once a day to tell you every stream you’ve had really right down to the city it was streamed in. It tells you the gender of your listeners, aswell as many other stats. It is really easy to claim your artist, comparing to Amazon who still haven’t approved my claim after about 3 months, Spotify claim really quickly. The only reason I’ve not given this5 stars is because it has a live reading where it tells you the exact streams at that exact moment, and it’s often wrong. Once a day it updates the daily streams per song and for the album, and you suddenly lose tonnes of streams. I contacted their support and they admitted that it’s often wrong. As their systems miscount, but the daily updates are always correct. So I’ve had to learn to ignore the live updates, as their accuracy can’t be trusted. As someone who only has 1 song over 1000 and none of the others are even approaching it, I was witnessing the live updates being out by hundreds. People on high streams must be out by a hell of a lot. Another mark down is that this app for me hasn’t had an official daily update in nearly 2 days. And the live stream update has frozen for the last 15 odd hours. So something isn’t working on it but there is nothing telling me this. I’ve therefore taken this down to 3 stars solely due to the app underperforming, but the design and layout and what the app actually offers would be a 5 star for me, if it was ever working as it should.
Not what you think it is
If you want to publish your music, this isn’t the place to do that, to do that you need a distributor. If you just want to check how your music is doing on Spotify, this IS the place for you. I feel like most 1 star reviews are probably from people who don’t know what this app is, so just make sure you know what you are doing and you won’t be dissapointed.
Login doesn’t work
Spotify for Artists has not updated my stats in three days so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to see if I could get it to update but that turned out to be a mistake because now I get an error message Every-time I enter my email. And now I can’t review my stats anymore or anything.
I can’t wait for the next Gmail sign in update!!!!
Hi I just want to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ADDING A GMAIL SIGN IN!!!!!!!!!! We just heard that you guys would be adding a Gmail sign in on your next update. So Excited! Everyone was so disappointed with your app before the Gmail update was announced, but soon I’ll finally be able to login without having to give out my Facebook account (not saying that you’d share it, I just get a little annoyed when someone asks for my facebook. I haven’t got into the app yet, because the update isn’t released yet, but I’m looking forward to uploading my music to the world!!! Thanks again, bye.
Why???
I really don’t have any complaints, until now. I am met with a message to update the app, however to do so; i need to update my phone. Please, to the developer, downgrade your xcode minimum build target to iOS 17. So many users would benefit from this and there is no reason to have the min. build at iOS 18 when it doesn’t even use iOS 18 specific functions.

Not all of us have iOS 16+. So now I can no longer use the app. Nice work Spotify 👍🏼

This app doesn’t update your streams or listeners, there are so many bugs, when you want to change your profile picture it takes about 30 minutes.
Stream glitching
I recently released my first single on all platforms, including Spotify and everything went well for the first couple days, but only after 4 days after the release, spotify stopped counting my streams live on my cellphone, but it was working on my pc so what’s the issue here?
App is constantly broken
Something is always broken within this app. This time it’s the filtering function on the stats page. You can’t create a custom timeline.
Would like more control
Would like the option to hide number of listeners especially if you’re beginning with a small following. Similar to how plays shows <1000 listens, it can feel a bit awkward having so few listeners.
