This app is so restrictive, with a third-rate UX, while most features end up in blank screens. One has to wonder if this “Bank” is a personification of the United Nations it serves…. Incompetent!
An improvement needed

Login challenge
The previous version was much better - I do not know why UNFCU spent for the new version!
Individual card transaction receipt
The only issue I have so far is the inability of the App to allow the download of a single transaction. Thus if a transaction has been posted successfully, then I should be able to download the receipt of that transaction with all the details

I really like the UNFCU app. The card management section is easy to navigate and lets me manage all my cards in one place. The app is secure, reliable, and highly recommended for UNFCU members!
Poor functionality
Updates after updates yet This app is as old as the UN. It just ridiculous.
Deposits and withdrawals are both in red
Please change the color scheme so that deposits and withdrawals on the transactions screen aren't both in red.
App needs to be better
I have to delete and re download this app every few months because it freezes me out at login. This is not a pleasant process. Please fix this.
Cannot access my bank account
I will be succinct. I cannot access my bank account because the banner meant to introduce they new features banner cannot be bypassed. It is paginated in such a way that makes it impossible for me to scroll down to to tap the “do not remind me” or the “remind me later” buttons. So I “literally” can do nothing with your app. I have never written an app review before, but I have never been so annoyed by an app before. First time for everything I guess. Please fix this. I am on an iPhone SE running iOS 17.6.1.

Cannot access my online banking
This bank is doing maintenance every single month, and if they say its gonna take 3 hours don’t listen to this cause it might even take 24h for maintenance. The maintenance was supposed to take 3h but its been 7hr and the app is still not working and I really need my money now.
Overall improvement
It works... and finally has face recognition! Thank you. A very functional app.
Always loading
90% of time the app just loading without showing anything, even though refreshing for many times. It takes forever to open and just opens randomly whenever it wants to. What if we are in a hurry and needs to access it quickly?
New authentication feature not great
This is an okay app. And to make things less okay, now we are always required to enter our user name whenever we log on. It's a huge downgrade because in previous version, username and password were automatically saved.

Better than the earlier versions but still looks like a school project.
Good app, need to be updated to fit the iPhoneX screen
The app is really useful and user friendly, especially after adding Touch ID support. It is however a step behind of the products developed by other financial institutions. My particular request is for UNFCU to finally update it to be compatible with iPhoneX both to take advantage of its bigger screen and Face ID support.

It’s a great bank but maybe could u make the app abit more desirable? I know maybe this is only coming from one person but it will give a better experience to the app users. The way the app is designed is not quite pleasant, tho it does work perfectly. However, it’s a great bank.

Great app. But please upgrade the UI 😭 the design of this app feels very old
Terrible app, never works
Shocking how BAD this app is. 90% of the time you cannot log in because it’s ’verifying your device’. Any time there’s an update Face ID stops working and you have to use the password and turn on biometrics again. Honestly most of the time it just spins at log in and you’re never able to do anything. You’re better off using your laptop and a browser. This app is completely useless.
Forgetting the biometric setting
Holding my promise (sort of, I actually forgave you once or twice). Your miracle app again forgot my biometric settings and my device, despite it is installed on very the same phone since 2017. Removing one more star, though honestly I'm already tempted to give you zero. Earlier: Every time your app forgets that the touch id is enabled I will be making a new comment here and removing one star. I'm really tired of it.

i rather use web than using this app. this app simply is not working, i set up face ID, and it takes forever to login, everything is slow
Mobile deposit doesn’t work
This is the third time that mobile deposit hasn’t worked for me. It says I haven’t selected a deposit account when I have. Very frustrating especially during COVID
Face ID
Since updating my iPhone to the new iOS, I have been unable to use Face ID. My Face ID is enabled in my settings. Is anyone else having this issue? Can you please look into this?

Simple, reliable, easy to use.
Slow application
Application is very slow and keeps on loading. It takes days to fix bugs. This is inconvenient especially when there are monthly transactions and bills that need to be paid. Example now been trying to load activities from one account and it keeps giving me sign of loading.
Disconnects
The app used to be great, but lately loses connection and requires login after almost every action. Stability needs to be updated
Not bad
It’s not a bad app, but it could be better as it’s a little behind the curve when it comes to technology. It would be nice to support the iPhone X with Face ID since we no longer have use of Touch ID. Also, there needs to be a way to implement text alerts. The email alerts are slow, and transactions don’t show up on the account right away. If anything unauthorized did happen, you wouldn’t know until days later. It would be nice to be able to see our transactions the same day, but that may not be app-related.
Improvements were expected… it fails!
At first, it’s not showing anymore the available balance but only the one that includes pending transactions. Not convenient at all. Now, it never stop loading the page after accepting my FaceID to login and there’s nothing you can do except closing the app and try again… for the same result. When you expected a better app, this new one is actually worse. It is really time that UNFCU reveals a modern face!
It was okay, but..
It was okay, it’s not going to have the functionality of a big bank. But, for some reason it stopped loading. Just gives a splash screen and hangs, no login screen no Touch ID screen, nothing.

Now unusable
The most recent redesign is not formatted for iPhone SE displays. Single-page screens are taller than what fits on the display, thus the page cannot scroll. This has resulted in the new version’s features pop-up having a confirmation button just below where the display cuts off, and can’t be selected to continue using the app. This renders to app unusable. Closing and reopening the app still brings up the same page that I cannot progress past. I can no longer functionally access this app until this is corrected.
