You ruined it
I’ve been playing Wordscapes for years and really enjoyed it. Recently the ads have changed. Now they pop up between plays or while I’m trying to play a tile. I can’t even get to the tile before another ad pops up. Too many ads!
Good but..
I really like this game it’s fun but why is it rated R18+?. I really haven’t seen any inappropriate stuff though it does have advertising, chat and gambling but other than that I think it could be okay for 10+/13+ with parental supervision. I mean in only a few levels there might be bonus words that are bad so.. but it’s still a really fun and challenging game. Edit: I don’t like the new wordscapes. Remove the timers.
Started strong
Yeah, was fun for the first 100-150 levels, then the ads start after every game. I was even willing to put up with that. But once I reached level 260 I started getting video ads mid game!!!! I realize the it’ll be ads for free games but this is too much.
Too many interruptions
Great game. Challenging and engaging. But as of August 21, 2026 sudden ads pop up without warning in the middle of game play. You should at least let the people finish current puzzle before you shoot them with a shocking video interruption!

It has an insane amount of ads and even if you pay to remove ads.. they still force you to play ads in order to progress. The game will lock you on that ad screen to play another game and you can’t get out so you have to close the game.

I’ve been playing this game for a few years now, and while there have been ads throughout the game, it’s now at a whole new level. Ads are showing up about every 10 seconds, interrupting the flow of the game. If it continues this way, I will absolutely delete this app. Absolute shame.
Great! But way too many ads and forced games
I got tired of always having to play a promoted game that popped up like an ad - no option to close. I had to close the app and reopen just so I could continue. Deleted. Aug 17/2026

Wayyyy too many ads, i enjoy the app and the wordscapes with some other side things but having an ad every single time you finish a wordscape is really excessive and takes the fun out of it. That’s basically an ad every 2-5 minutes

Good format but many repetitive levels and database lacks many words. Sometimes banner ads play sound that cannot be muted.

Wordscapes was an excellent game over the past 2 years but the rate of ads has increased to an intolerable level.
You can’t close the ads after watching… which is really annoying. I did my time! Let me play!
This game made me realize how slow I really am, I’d like to think if I keep using it maybe I’ll get faster? So far its working! Unfortunately after the add finishes playing, only a couple of them give you the X in the top right and let you go back to your game. But 80% of the ads you have to fully close the app, open again. Watch another ad and HOPE maybe its one that lets you exit out after. Pretty annoying not sure if I’ll keep this one

Played Over 5 years! I actually got quite addicted to the team tournaments I created a team with some real life friends and joiners from around the world. I paid for no ads a long time ago when it was not a subscription - so I like no ads.

Getting harder to like
Was an enjoyable freemium game but they haven’t added any new levels for ages and they keep recycling ones you’ve already done. Rewards are getting harder and harder to get. Time to delete 🤬
New update kills your eyes
I’ve been playing for 4 years and generally love this game. There are new graphics on the letters and game circle however that are causing pain and discomfort and players are experiencing migraines. These were new additions to the game this week and players are upset. Some are trying to organize a boycott. Loved the game until now so hope they make a quick correction of this soon.

If your mad or upset you can play this game I’ll calm you down or keep you relaxed and entertained and you can learn new words and if you like move a lot ADHD it can keep you still and entertained and you won’t be like distracted like people ADHD would understand what I mean

Who wants to play a game that has an ad after every level? In this game that means an ad every minute or so. Skip it! There are enough games out there with no ads, so why bother with a game that has ads?

Wrong dictionary
100s of real words the app rejects plus really bad design of one of the buttons right next to letter wheel which means when user accidentally clicks on it, it automatically ‘eats’ 300 coins.. Fun to play otherwise

So many ads all the time and now an annoying strip along the bottom that partially covers the letters so the player will accidentally touch it and have an ad pop up.

Wordscapes Animation Nightmare
Update: I had already contacted Support through the App (as have many others with similar concerns) and was told it had been forwarded to the appropriate people/group for review. Nothing has changed and people are leaving the game for directly related health concerns. This needs to be addressed and fixed! The recent addition of animated circles around each letter in the word wheel as you swipe the letters is annoying at best and harmful to your health at worst. Effects reported include headaches/migraines, dizziness, nausea, risk of seizures and more! Responses from WS Support result in generic messages thanking us for reporting it and telling us it has been forwarded to the appropriate group for review. Not good enough. Fix it!
Frustrated with some changes
The hearts you earn are redundant. I have over 18000 with nothing to use them on. Why have you removed Magic Mountain.?Have enjoyed playing this game for sometime but I am getting frustrated with the small prizes and changes

Up until the last update, you could play the daily puzzle. Now it’s locked until you reach level 100. What’s the point? Lost a daily visitor in me.
