The Best!
I’ve had this game for over 10 years. It’s the only game that I have played this long. If I’m feeling nervous, need to wind down I play this game. It’s truly the best.

New changes not fun
If I wanted to play crosswords I would get a crossword app. Also, don't like the change from spinner to fortune cookies. Cost more and too many cards. Shouldn't have any cards. Game is starting to slide downhill with changes
Gone downhill
The game was fun a few years ago but now it’s full of ads and pop ups, I’m clicking though so many pop ups- and they’re really pushing the mini games down my throat- I wanna play word cookies not the 3 sponsored mini games that they remind me about after each level.

This game is really good but it could do better. Here are some suggestions: Barely any adds at all. I think you should also add more time to the treat challenge and that you should do something about the fact that I keep on losing my progress by about 5 or so levels. Also it would make the game a whole lot better if you made the spelling British, because more countries use British over American. You should also consider adding more theme variety, making it so there are less extra words and more words on the grid and making a larger range of avatars, such as more cats. 🐶🦴❤️
Frustrated
This game was once a lot of fun, but now has become tedious with so many side games and distractions. Often when I get a reward, the ad will crash and reward gets lost, having to restart the app. The app needs some serious cleaning up.
Long time player… but
I have played Word Cookies for several years now. I greatly appreciate some of the advancements in the game functions such as the prevalence of ads being greatly reduced down to user-input/ choice to watching ads for rewards. With that said I loathe the new implementation of AI generated content. From the mini games to the “card collection” it is just abhorrent. It makes me want to stop playing. You do not need to use AI for it makes the player experience worse. Please reconsider.

This game has changed, for the worse
I used to play this game every single day for years. It was challenging and fun, and I loved the simplicity of it. Since the new update, I cannot stand it. I have to click through so much garbage and waste my time trying to fight through the click bait of the game trying to sell me something. I’m sure there are plenty of word games like this out there that haven’t turned to trash that I will be downloading.

Why ruin a good thing?
I’ve played this game for years, and it has gotten completely ruined with cheap gimmicks, flashy pop ups, constant challenges and rewards in the last few months. It seems like the game got sold to one of these companies that pump out games. it used to be a calming puzzle game without ads and now it’s a shock to the system with cheap dopamine. It’s gross to have a game I’ve loved and recommended to therapy clients for years become just more brain slop. It’s the last thing we need. Just so exhausted by losing one of the last good games I could recommend that didn’t cause more phone addiction.

Been playing Word Cookies for several years. Good game, challenging, no ads during game play. Don’t like recent change removing spin wheel replaced by “fortune cookies.” Still, though a good word challenge game.

Used to be good
I started playing this game in the OG days when it was just a word game. Now it’s SO MANY add ons and pop ups that I have clear a ton of them before I can even play the game.

Since the latest update I am being forced to watch ads, when I have paid for no ads. Between all of the unnecessary changes and now this, a once favorite game is about to be deleted.
Bring back daily spinner
Daily spinner was the best incentive to play longer.
Just give me the damned game
I enjoy it, but it’s “grabby.” Hard to swipe away from not due to addictive quality but because game design makes it difficult. And the RELENTLESS stupid side quests - dumb cards I don’t care about, challenges, sub-games. I’m only here for the mental challenge. Sometimes it is 15 clicks before I can just make the freaking words. This game has gone from to really annoying.

The ‘card’ prizes are so annoying, too many clicks required and not worth it. Spoils an otherwise great game.
AMAZING
I’ve been playing this game for nearly a decade now and it has consistently been superb. I love having a game that makes me think and use my brain, it helps keep me sharp!! Can’t say a single negative thing about it—I love it!! 5 stars easily, would give it more if I could!!
Crosswords
If I wanted to play a crossword game, I would. I don’t like the new crossword game. Get rid of that, please. And I swear y’all make up some of these words.

So many distractions
I used to enjoy this game a lot. There are now so many visual distractions with the latest updates! New prompts at the bottom after each completed game for some event I don’t want, and at least 3 other gimmicky events on the home screen to collect treats or shells for card collections I don’t want to participate in, and a timer during game play for yet another pointless event. I just want to play the core word game! Why are you driving me away from Word Cookies?
Becoming annoying
Enjoy the Word puzzle especially the harder levels BUT being driven mad by persistent ads which are harder to get rid of than doing the puzzles.

Too much change
There has been too much change to a game that was simple and straightforward and easy to use. I hated the removal of the bonus rounds and the addition of all the on screen eye candy. I’ve tried to be patient but now there are so many pop ups urging me to spend money to get helpful boosts even though I do not need them. And now in the newest round that I started there is the addition of sticky letters. It’s terrible and makes my eyes cross. I do not find this enjoyable at all and I do not play to be annoyed. After many years I find myself wanting to delete the app and be done with it.
Foreign Adverts
Love the game but so many adverts in what looks like Russian?? Reported them but they keep popping up. Very frustrating.
Worse and worse.
Constant pop ups offering in app purchases, meaningless events and the recently added ridiculous cards mean that you can take what feels like minutes to actually get to the point where you are able to start playing. I’ve played for years but am close to the point of deleting it as the greed represented by the inducements to spend money and the stupidity of the prizes becomes more and more annoying.
