Really fun
Super fun game. Been playing it for years. Just like the real boggle game. The more you play, the faster you get.
Ads within game rounds
I actually still enjoy the game, but inserting ads into the actual game play (interrupting your round and throwing you off, causing you to possibly forget which words you’ve already played) is an automatic fail. Would give zero stars if possible. And the new “starting games automatically” thing even though I turned off that setting is another obnoxious feature. Sometimes I may accidentally swipe slightly to the side after a game round, and it starts a game with someone new. I didn’t ask for this! Get rid of the ads within game play and maybe you’ll get a better review, we’ll see.

Ok. It seems that they have heard the bad reviews because I haven’t had any pop up adds while playing for the last few days. I happily amend my rating. And I was finally able to get rid of my words with friends acct. Thank you. I really love this game.
It used to be fun
I’ve been playing for 10 years & I enjoy it but for the last few months it’s been lagging, taking a long time to start a game. Very frustrating, makes me not want to play anymore, I’m very close to deleting it
Please fix the pop up issue.
I used to love this game. Now it takes forever to load. If I wanted to upgrade to Premium I would have done so by now. If I change my mind, it’s not hard to find the box to upgrade. Instead, when I open the game I have to wait for it to load - twice - then the other ad pops up. Am I the only having this issue?
Blip? Glitch?
I’ve been playing this game for at least 13 yrs, love it .. but there are a couple, little glitches that should be addressed.. lately the game has been starting games for me without me prompting it too... can you pls address this! Super annoying! Also, please fix the chat option .. it’s never worked .. equally annoying! Thanks!
Poor support.
I have received a zero score several times when I played against an opponent. It just happened again. I got a message that said “Repaired client issue. Just restart the game.” Fine. You have to repair the game. But that shouldn’t delete my score entirely for that round. Worse yet, it showed that I could replay the round. That’s okay. But, no, it ended the game and game me a zero instead of the winning score I’d just earned. I rarely write bad reviews, but this keeps happening.
Smaller fonts
I really like the game it is one of my favorites. I’ve noticed that in the current version the font used in displays has gotten smaller. The choice of colors whit letters on orange background is already difficult to read but with the smaller fonts it is very difficult to decipher.
Too many ads. Can’t see results after play
I have been playing for a few years and love the game but an ad after every play and it pops up even before I can see the score of my opponent.
Starting Random Games each time I open it.
It’s recently been starting games against random opponents without my doing so. So many games in my queue now when I open it up and I have to resign because otherwise I’ll be using up all my free tokens after the 3 games I normally play at a time. Been playing for 10+ years without it ever having done this. Don’t know if this is a deliberate tactic designed to force players to purchase tokens or a glitch. Hoping it’s a glitch that they can fix. I’ve enjoyed playing it for many years without this new “bug”.

Something has changed recently. I’m getting bombarded with more matches than I can keep up with, and the game keeps creating more, even though I resign some of them. Please change it back!
Glitch
This app glitches so bad! I have multiple rewards I’ve been unable to collect as it always says there is an error. Many of my game rounds have not been counted and I’ve lost my tokens for playing a game that never registered. Gross!! Fix it!

New update broke game
With the new update, resigning a game doesn’t remove it from your queue and it fills all your available games with smart matches/challenges so you don’t have any game slots left to play your ACTUAL friends, AND the support function is broken so you are basically just short of luck

What has been happening with this game for the last year???
This game use to be good but for the past couple of months it has been sucking my Iphone’s battery down & when I just try to load the game on my phone it is nearly impossible unless I am willing to wait AT LEAST 5-10 minutes. I have done any update the game might have & my IPhone is up to date. What is going on with this? I’m getting to the point of pretty much deleting this game off of my phone bc I can’t access it anyway without it draining the phone battery. Exhausting! I’m not sure if they have not kept up with IOS over the past couple of months …or what the issue is….but, it’s about to go if they do not fix it soon.

Love the game, but would like a multiplayer option using one phone. Just pass the phone over for second player to have a turn . Preferably to be able to play this off line , while on a plane for example
Ad Infestation
Horrible monetary practices. They’ve even gone as far to insert ads INSIDE the rounds. That’s just disgusting. Worst part is you can pay for no ads FOR THIRTY DAYS ONLY AND IT ONLY BLOCKS ADS BETWEEN ROUNDS!!! These idiots don’t realize anyone can make these apps with ai now, so you’ve just inspired a competitor.

Very good. Frustrating that power-ups are not coordinated between players, or at least reported on the summary screen. It is very annoying to lose a game because your opponent has used 5 power ups on the last round.
Tournaments
I enjoy playing boggle but the tournaments drive me mad. I tend to play against many bots and the bots always do terribly the first round hundreds below my score then they rank up or something because they beat me by hundreds. Genuinely this isn’t about skill I just hate the bots. lots of ads and it’s hard to find players at my level when I’m only a 45…
It’s fun bit ads are ridicilous
Game is fun and good for unwinding for a bit but after every game there an ad and it can’t be closed!!!! I din’t want to save the king anymore. You can’t even pay off for the skip option. Please fix this!

Love this game
I really enjoy playing boggle and that the challenges lists are accessible with voiceover but I would love it if you could play the actual game levels using voiceover or any other screen reader. Over all it’s a great game.
Frustrating Bugs
Agree with the other users’ comments about the bugginess of this app. I love the game but I’m barely able to play anymore. When I open the app, it says ‘loading…’ for so long that I just give up and close out. I no longer get bonus points and I can’t even get to the games I’ve already started because it continually tries to create new ones and takes so long to create them. It’s always been a little buggy but it’s never been this bad.
New update issue
I love this game and have for a long time. But with the last update, it is now choosing/starting games for me rather than just suggesting who to play. I have to resign from about 5 games per day that I did not intend to play. It’s not a big deal, but it’s annoying and I don’t understand why it’s suddenly happening. Also, I do not always get my 3 coins for starting the suggested daily game. So it’s starting games I don’t want and not giving me my coins for the games I do want!

Long-Time Player, Too
I, too, have been playing this game for years. I agree about the ads. BUT, my complaint has to do with the worst programming of any game I play. Boggle NEVER opens on the main page, it ALWAYS opens to some player I’ve never played, and if I don’t delete that game and attempt to open to a player I’m currently playing, I receive a message that I have too many games going. I DID NOT CHOOSE THOSE PLAYERS, AND WHY WOULD ZYNGA CHOOSE THEM FOR ME. I am tired of the ridiculous responses I receive from the MASTERS of this game who want to blame me for their lack of knowledge and lack of expertise. While it’s nice to have large print, this game is beyond large. AND, YES MY SETTINGS ARE CORRECT!!!
Daily challenge weekly score not correct
I love boggle it helped me through some of hardest days of my life. I have noticed for many weeks now scores till Wednesday calculates well and then Thursday calculations goes change . Like 5000 score becomes lower and then even after being in top till Wednesday Thursday starts downhill. Please fix this issue. I love boggle I don’t want to stop playing

My game keeps creating games nobody started. Can’t fix it have deleted it several times and the keep showing up very irritating.

Missing Features, Too Many Ads, Unavailable Customer Service
I’ve been playing Boggle for a few months. For the most part, the user experience is pleasant. I don’t like the constant ads at the bottom of my screen or the ads that pop up after each and every round of play. I don’t like that some of my opponents have a feature called Timeless Play which allows them to play without the 2-minute time limit. I suspect it gives them an unfair advantage. Apparently, the feature is available on IOS and Android. For unknown reasons, this feature is not displayed on my iPhone. I have the current IOS and the most recent version of the app. Attempts to resolve this issue via Customer Support only resulted in frustration. Either the response was delayed and my chat timed out or the app crashed. Once my 30-day ad-free runs out, I plan to delete the app. It’s no fun playing against others who have an advantage that that pretty much ensures victory. And the coach isn’t enough to keep me interested.
What happened?
I’ve been playing Boggle with Friends for many years. I paid to ditch the ads. In the past week, the app has changed. I get 7-10 requests to play from strangers. I can’t decline. I have to quit the game they started. Looked all day for games with my regular opponents. Nothing. Just looked. They played 7 hours ago. Please fix it!

Objectionable ad
A recent, highly insulting ad featured an overweight, African-American man in a frilly maid outfit. It was probably AI generated but that’s irrelevant. I’ve been playing this game almost every morning for over 10 years, but if that ad pops up I will drop the game. I couldn’t find a link to complain to them directly.

What the hell happened?
I have been playing this game for more than a decade… Something happened in the recent update where it in initiates dozens of games a day for me with people I am not interested in playing. My only choice is to resign and wipe out any streak I might have. I am consistently in the top 40 on the leaderboard and this is super annoying.
interesting bug
recently came across an interesting bug where you could see what powerups your opponent was using, it soon disappeared and i haven’t been able to recreate it. i think this feature should be in the game proper.
A good game fraught with problems.
Boggle is fun. I enjoy playing this game. But this app is a disaster. The ads are numerous and intrusive (WHY do I get 3 ads in a ROW trying to get me to sign up for Boggle Premium???). Bots are rife, and you can’t report them, because the report feature doesn’t work. The app is becoming laggier. It’s in desperate need of an overhaul.
