BORING
FELT ASLEEP
Love the game
I like to solve missing word parts. The definitions were an added bonus
One small change
Please allow words over seven letters. It’s so frustrating to find a word that is over seven letters and it doesn’t count. It’s the only thing keeping this game from 5 stars.
Fun!
This game is fun and slightly addictive but sometimes there are words that are real words that the game doesn’t count. Other times I can make a word longer than 7 letters. I feel like finding words the creators of the game didn’t find or ability to make words longer than 7 letters should give the player bonus points! Also, I HATE the ads you are forced to watch for so long!
Fun and rewarding
The word combinations vary noticeably from one game to the next which keeps the game fresh and challenging. I especially like how success is rewarded with increased play time.
Waste of time
Every combo of 4x4—mostly nonsensical
COMPLAINT
The Bloodlines game commercials shown on this website are beyond disgusting. Anything for a buck, huh?
good concept needs more
The game has a good start. Needs work. Suggested improvements: I agree with other reviews that it should work with a keyboard. My main frustration is that the words found list does not scroll. If I have only 5 words left to find, I cant see if I am looking for a 2-letter word or a 7-letter word. It's frustrating that I cannot finish a game when I dont know what I am looking for.
OK enough.
I keep looking for a randomly generated boggle type game. This does not appear to be one either. Too many repeat words in the many different games I play, which I then have memorized and it makes it no fun.
81 and
Lots of fun and keeps my mind occupied and functioning!
Served up SCAM ad
This game served up a full screen ad that looked like a security notification from Apple. It said that I needed to install a "Cleaner" update and that this "was required on every iphone". There was an install button on the bottom as well as a cancel button. DO NOT click either button.
Longer words!
I’d love if this game had longer words in the word list, or the option to include them. When I find a 8, 9, 10+ letter word that I can’t “get” it’s so sad.
Great game but adverts are too intrusive
I like this game but am thinking of deleting it because the advertisements are so loud and intrusive. It’s totally unacceptable that the advertisers completely disregard my app settings (I have it set on silent) and play them at the loudest possible volume.
No more!
This used to be the best word game for increasing your vocabulary but it is ruined by obnoxious ads. Sorry. I am not going to pay for no ads to just play this game
Always
Always like this game. It it simple without the bad ads flying up. What could anyone want?
Hard words
There are too many hard words that no one ever heard of. Maybe only Chivi It takes the joy out of playing the game.
Good but…
…it would be even better if it were possible to limit the amount of words to find, eg 100, 150, 200.
My review ...
It's ok . I think you should make another for kids, under and around 19 and under . You should make it, into a adventure spelling game for kids . That would be nice, thanks ... sincerely, a customer . 😁
Frustrating
Is this American English? The word “arial” is not on the list! British spellings of words, however, are. And what’s with obscure names of currencies from around the globe? Super frustrating to have never completed a puzzle.
Splendid
I’ve been playing this games for ages and have never had any issues.
Allow users to turn the sound off!
Annoying
Great game
Enjoy playing this game
I’m retired
No longer working daily & I was losing my vocabulary; this really helped increase it.
Great game but…
Why is the word Vye not in the list?
dictionary is weak
fun game but uses wiktionary and not a real dictionary. incredibly frustrating. ugh
The best of the bunch
I do love this game and have played for years. It’s the best of the bunch since the loss of quordle. However I take issue with a few of the really obscure words. Some are even wrong! See: ‘trapes’, for example. It would be helpful to have a toggle that removes truly archaic or obsolete words from the dictionary. Additionally based on some of the definitions, I’d suggest perhaps a different dictionary, but that’s secondary to the words we’ll never know, learn or use. Also, CEO, DNA , asci, and a couple of others that escape me, are not words.
Dark mode?
PLEASE ADD A DARK-MODE OPTION😩
SpellMania
Love that there are no ads . Fun game, great for learning new words.
Stupid
The obscure and stupid three letter words are just annoying. No pleasure in randomly selecting words like dui and ano.
Love it, needs new puzzles
Will there be any puzzle updates? I’ve played them all.
Addictive, but,…
I agree that this game is addictive, but it is also pretty annoying. I’ve come across a number of common words that weren’t accepted, like: erase, erases, eraser, retort, and many others. An up-to-date dictionary would be a welcome addition.
😎
SpellMania is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
does not work with keyboard
does not work with keyboard
Pretty good app
My two qualms with this app are 1. You can’t change the time for a timed round. And 2. The rounds feel kind of easy, I’m practicing for GamePigeon and these boards feel much easier than the ones there.
Eh
Fun but hard. Kinda annoying how you can only do 2 “classic” games at a time
Excellent word puzzle
The word list is better than many other word games I play, and includes a definition for each word. The design is simple and elegant, with a minimum of visual clutter. The price to eliminate ads is very reasonable. One of my most played games (in untimed mode).
Cannot see words you don’t get
I don’t like this version at all. I like to see the words I haven’t found. It used to be much better when it was in alphabetical order with blanks where you hadn’t got the words. What has happened to that version?
Love this game
Love the game Keeps my mind working but only 1 thing wrong you can’t delete everything and start again
Battery drain
A fun app, but it “quietly” uses audio and drains battery even when the sound is set to off within the app and the phone is silenced.
Review
Set up so only words not chosen are listed at end. Better explanation of definition, etc of words chosen. TY.
SpellMania
Really excellent games which are tireless and keeps your Brain active. I’ve been playing over two years.
Free app
No nonsense
Good game except odd vocabulary
Overall it is a good game, but there are too many foreign words not in ordinary use, at least in North America or in any literature that I have encountered (like monetary units of Nee Guinea); chemistry terms; and technical scientific terms. But technical terms other areas (law, Christian theology, etc.) don’t count. I would expect that because many of the words are Latin or Greek. But since the letters of the Hebrew alphabet DO count, you wonder whether the word list is more or less random.
