I hate storms but this app is great it gives me accurate notice especially for rainfall.not now it’s bad storm but your not showing it

Works well but too many ads
Stops for ads. Sometimes I just give up and use a free lightning tracker map that it web based. Thinking of removing it every time it takes too long to use. The ads block the whole screen and make it useless.

Tracking while not using
I selected for this app to track only while using. I had the app closed and received a notification that there was lightening nearby. It means it’s tracking my location while the app is closed. I checked my settings to verify my selection. Deleting.
Great but needs yellow and red alerts
Its a great App but it really needs dual distance zone alerts, I.E.: As in most places such as construction, oil fields/refineries, etc…, there are always two limits, one on a proximity alert (yellow) in a 20-30km radius which means no work at heights, and a shelter alert (red) in a 7-15km radius. Other than that, its perfect, 4.5⭐️
Not accurate for what is in front of you
Just had a lightning strike and saw lightning and the app still says 21 miles away
Opens minimized
When I click on a notification the app opens up minimized. And there is no idea of where the last lightning strike was.
Only one for me
I’ve tried a few of these type apps and this is the only one left on my phone. It just works, and without distractions. Probably deserves another star to be honest.
Overly sensitive and therefore pretty useless.
App shows all electrical activity, including cloud to cloud. Storm comes in and the app will show literally THOUSANDS of strikes, yet only a few actually hit the ground. So useless if you want to track actual ground strikes. Have found much better sites online that show only ground hits, plus the shockwave emanating from the hits.
Excellent app!
This app is awesome! Currently am using the free version and it is immensely helpful. We are long term cruisers on a sailboat. We have added this app to our most useful resources and are pairing its use with our weather forecast programs. We are currently sailing in an area with frequent squalls and the up to the moment and accurate feedback is just amazing. Highly recommend
Radar not working correctly
I’m at home in pouring rain and it’s not showing a thunderstorm over our area. It shows it about 15 minutes away moving away from us.

This app has become useless. The map won't load so there's no way of telling how close the lightning is to your location. After multiple updates, they still can't get it right. Time to free up some space on my phone!

Quite often the radar does not work. Why is choosing a nickname so difficult!

this app is fairly accurate
Too many notifications from outside my selected area.
Set my location radius small, yet app sends notifications from next state over, deleting app after writing this.

Didn’t like it.
I need to know how far lightning is from me. I found it was hard to tell this on this app. When I clicked on the yellow dot around the lighting area a link came up trying to sell me yellow massage balls. Deleted this app immediately
Radar barely works
When zooming in on the radar to check rain it rarely works, you have to zoom right out for it to eventually work and half the time it doesn’t even show you. It’s been like this for months.

Won’t even stay on map with out an ad taking over and no way getting out of ad so I have to exit app and Demeter

App does what it says and alerts nice and early as the strikes happen. Would like to see more features in the app for things like SMS or Emailing when strikes happen to alert different people at a time.

Not reliable
This app is no good, not reliable for loading, won’t show you the radar effectively, if your someone who works in the elements, do not risk your life using this app, find other means to track bad or life threatening weather.

Been using this as my dog is frightened of thunder. I put on some WHITE NOISE and this settles him down. Great App

Great App…but!
This is a great app! But it would be even greater if there was an option to look back on historical information like previous days etc, as it provides key information for people working in forestry, electrical workers etc when trying to investigate cause of damage.
It’s really good at tracking the lightning!
Whenever there’s a lightning storm it sends me a notification and I’ll know right away when lightning is close to me

🌧️Radar no longer works
I love the app but the rain radar no longer works correctly. It’ll show the lightning strikes but the rain cover no longer shows up or takes ages if you zoom in or out.
Works sometimes
When information updates it is reliable and accurate. However there seems to be an issue where the banner ads take priority and data for the app will not load. To fix, cancel banner ad with the x and the app data should load.
