Disappearing
Purchases be disappearing. I counted 3 last night and this morning on my way to work, I tried to use it. It said error and disappeared. This is not the first time this has happened either or the third. More than 4 times. This is ridiculous.
Keeps switching
Was cool at first now I can’t buy discounted rides for myself or my kids
Excellent and seemless
Was able to download app, add payment card, and buy ticket all while powerwalking to my bus stop. This is precisely what you want in an app! Yes!! 🙏💪
Fraud
I downloaded this app for convenience because I don’t take the bus regularly and I didn’t want to buy a bus pass that I could lost. My card that I use to pay for the bus pass was charged everyday for a 2 hour ticket or an all day ride and I didn’t realize until I go onto my bank statement. I do not recommend this app.

Your app should allow for off-line capabilities; to being able to scan stored passes purchased to ride public transportation.

Good only when it wants to work having trouble logging out of nowhere was just using the thing yesterday
Okay app
Horrible customer service and support. I had a problem where I had a replacement phone with the same phone number and wasn’t able to use the app. I tried every way I knew how to contract customer service, but was unable to get a human being on the line via text or any other way I wrote several emails to customer support, but never had a response

I know that some of you out there doesn’t like the app but they sure do have the best customer service
Dont trust
Don't trust this app 100% they kept taking .75 out of my account daily. I didn't notice. Everyday they charged my bank card .75 multiple times aday for bus passes i never bought. Even when i removed bank card from the app they are still charging me. If i were you i would use a prepaid card you can lock or cash only. Now i have to dispute all these charges
Brightness?
The app itself functions the way it should. Clean and fairly straightforward. This latest update has caused the screen to illuminate to its highest brightness level while using the pass, and then leaves it there after closing the app. @developers - please check on this and let us choose our own screen brightness. Thanks. 😊

Simple and non invasive app but needs apple wallet support to be handy
Easy and quick
Purchasing a ticket is easy, just familiarize yourself with your area so that you don’t buy the wrong tickets. I needed service because I changed my phone number and my old phone number had three unused passes. That’s $10.50 I recovered! Real-time data and location of the bus! Just show them the pass and enjoy low priced travel! Great app! Buses are almost always clean! I rarely have to ask questions about the times of the other buses because it’s ALL IN THE APP!
FRAUDULENT & DANGEROUS - STOLE MY MONEY
Do not trust this app. I purchased a 30-day pass, and after a simple device reset and login, the app completely deleted my active pass and history. Even with a bank receipt and proof of purchase, their support (specifically "Alex") has ghosted me for over a week. This isn't just a technical glitch; it's a safety liability. I am currently recovering from a C0-C1 spinal fracture, and because this app failed, I am being forced into hostile confrontations with bus drivers who think I'm fare-evading. Token Transit is aware of my injury and the liability, yet they refuse to restore my service or even respond to emails. They take your money instantly but offer zero support when their software fails. If you rely on public transit for your safety and livelihood, stay away from this garbage app. Total scam.

Apple watch support
Hello. I have an apple watch series 10 and I use it daily for bus transportation and It surprised me that this app doesn’t have an apple watch version, I would love for an apple watch port of this app for the convenience.

The brightness issue had been resolved
Scammed
Deleted the app for like 30 minutes while a pass was active and now I can’t access it. No live customer service so now I have to pay extra money out of pocket to get to the food stamps office while I’m already broke. Unbelievable.

Easy to use app, however, it does tend to take a long time to load your bus pass so make sure you get that ready to use before getting aboard the bus!

Finally, easy payments for public transit
This app makes bus travel convenient again! I live in Detroit and haven’t ridden the bus in years because of the inconvenience of needing exact change or an expensive monthly card.. 2 dollars paid instantly via the app just gave me a trip to and from the coffee shop. Use this with an app like Transit, and it’s almost as convenient as Uber or Lyft, but for 1/15th the price. I love that the app isn’t trying to do too much, so it is simple and fast. Great work!
I was lied to by customer service
I hate this app. When I try to use a specific card for bus fare it just declines regardless if there is money on the card or not. I tried to contact customer support and sadly their response sounded like AI and their suggestions to troubleshoot the card was no help at all. On the email I received, they stated that they accept all cards as well as google pay, Apple Pay, as well as various other cards. This is a boldface lie because my card declines every time I try to use it on the app. I called my bank and they said it should be fine to purchase online or through apps. But nope. I continue to get declined. And they have no live agents helping you for your inquiries. You can send an email but they don’t have a direct line where you can talk to someone directly and get your issue resolved in a timely manner. This is unacceptable for a company that covers so many transit systems. Unacceptable. I hate to be a Karen but his is ridiculous. And when I called my local transit system, they said that it is out of their hands and there is nothing they can do. Why use a company that barely responds as it is. As a company, do better. Be reliable. Because whatever is going on at the moment, I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this company on my worst enemy. Token transit you get an F for horrible customer service and continuing to decline my card for no damn reason when I have plenty of funds on the card.

Easy and convenient! Customer service via email was also very fast.
Find Another Option
The hotel presented this as our best option to get to the airport. An hour later we were hiring a Lyft. If you’re up for spending money only to find out there are no busses for you to take and a no refund policy in place, this is your app. If you just want an easy way to get where you’re going, look elsewhere.
Easy but doesn’t scan
The NFTA website directs you to buy a pass by downloading this app. It is really easy to use which is great when its snowing or freezing out. But it doesn’t scan when you get on the bus. So far its 8 out of 8 failures. Luckily the driver let me on anyway because she could read it but I don’t want to chance that happening every time. Ive seen it happen to other passengers too.
Finally, paying for transit is easy
Token Transit makes one of the most daunting parts of riding the bus simple- understanding the fare and paying without cash. I’m really thankful for this service!
Deleting passes
It deleted two of my passes after activating them & still no response from their team, very disappointing.
App not great, but customer service is excellent
I accidentally bought two tickets (tapped twice) and immediately sent a text to customer support and they quickly reversed the payment.
Bring back
Bring back the 3 month pass for Banff

Why did I just get charged for???
I’m visiting from out of town and trying to catch the bus to get to my hotel and the website sent me to this link to download the app so I could get a bus fare. All of a sudden my Apple Pay shows that a 21.59 charge just came through my bank acct. then the app asks me to select the fare I want (which is a $2 day pass half fare since I’m a veteran) what did I just get charge for???

This app has been fairly good for me until now where whenever I open up the app it shuts down and won’t allow me to buy any tickets.
Works... so far
No crashes yet and super convenient. I’ll be back here though if it does get buggy on me to adjust the rating
Highway robbery
These prices are practically a robbery? $3.50 per ride for a service that barely runs to get you anywhere conveniently? And barely covers even the downtown? NYC arguably has 10x coverage charges under$3. This is highway robbery from people who can’t afford have cars! City officials - stop outsourcing to these greedy companies and put some effort into building a system that doesn’t conduct online robberies. Aka - do your jobs and stop delegating to inept people and passing on those costs to your constituents.
Apple Pay pops up
Holding the phone near the reader triggers the NFC chip, so Apple Pay pops up and blocks the QR code. Most annoying!Check the Pittsburgh transport app where they disable the Apple Pay trigger while inside the app
