I love the Sephora app, it’s so easy to use! It opens to my page with my beauty pass number so I know the points are going into my account. So easy to navigate. Keep up the good work :)
Worst app I’ve ever seen
If there was an option to rate it lower than 1 star I’d choose that. Clunky, messy and glitchy. It’s a whole mess of an app
I love shopping at Sephora
Sephora is a really nice place and you can find like any makeup there and you can always trust the product but it is really expensive
App glitch
Sephora is great and I’ve never had any problems using their online website. However, since downloading the app, I’m able to scroll for about 30 seconds before it glitches and freezes. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app twice and nothing has helped. A friend of mine has told me she’s also had the same issue. For now I’ll just have to stick to using their online website.

The terrible glitchiest app ever!!!!!
Buffering for 5 minutes with every single click is incredibly frustrating. It’s almost impossible to choose a pickup or delivery address. If you want to encourage people to shop online, the first thing you need to do is improve your app!

Consistent issue with the app- the only recommended fix is to download and reinstall, which doesn’t fix it. Promo codes are difficult to add, often you need to try multiple times (if they work at all). Something just isn’t working.

This app has always been terrible. They’ve made very few changes over the years but no improvements. Live chat doesn’t work, you lose your place on a page if you swap briefly to a different app, it asks you every 30 seconds if you’d like to receive notifications evens though you’ve already said no… it’s always a frustrating experience. They don’t seem to take on feedback regarding the buggy app.

Promo codes don’t work
Promo codes don’t work in the app. They add and then disappear a second later. Sephora customer service say to go onto a browser - they are app only codes. If your codes don’t work and your app doesn’t work and your customer service aren’t helpful, then I guess I shop at Adore now.

Won't stay logged in
Ever since the last update two days ago, I can't stay logged in and have to re enter my login and password each time I open the app, which is really annoying!!
App can be improved
I find the app a little hard to use and some UX copywriting is confusing. I see “1/2 item not in stock” when I choose Click & Collect even though I only have 1 item in the cart. Is that “1 or 2 item”? If I have 3 items in my cart, how do I know which is not available? It also took me a while to find “click & collect” option. Lastly, not related to the app, I wish Sephora staff speak up when they see customers apply lip product testers directly on their lips.

Always logs me out
I hate having to use the app but don’t have a physical store in my state, the app constantly logs me out and I lose point progress and am unable to see my previous purchases. Because my account was originally made through Facebook every time I try to log back in it comes up with an error code due to Sephora/Facebook connection issues. This has been an issue for years and has never been fixed.

แอพดีนะ แต่ค่อนข้างช้า กดเอาสินค้าออกจาก Bag แล้วใช้เวลาโหลดนาน มันเสียเวลารอ กดถูกใจบางครั้งก็ไม่ขึ้น บางครั้งก็ขึ้น อยากให้พัฒนาในส่วนตรงนี้ ที่เหลือดีหมดเลย

Horrible Service
I bought online and the freebie was not honored because it wasn’t keyed in at the checkout but it was not even possible because it was greyed out. The chat support was also not helpful at all.

Beauty point and staff problem
Love this site for buying high end make up and good tracking. Only problem is the points say 3 days to be revived. I revived my a week and a bit after and they didn’t register I changed beauty colour until 2-3 days after that! Also every day I check to see if I can redeem point and nothing is ever in stock. I been waitlisted for a few things for over a year yet they still haven’t got it!! Weren’t any help either when you contact them. They would constantly tell me “point up to 3 days” after I told them it was well over a week.
Okay but not great
Sephora app has some glitches from time to time. They don’t seem to update the app very much that almost all stocks are gone. I hope they can update their stocks, too. Their customer service is okay, they just take too much time to respond. Also, I hope they can improve their partner courier service because recently I have been receiving my orders in terrible packaging. The latest one affected the condition of the product, reflecting how bad it was handled. I really like this app because I can guarantee that all of the products are authentic. I hope these issues can be addressed soon.

Disappointing
The app used to be a great option to buy your favourite products online. No more! Literally every product I select are only available for click and collect in stores that are over an hour drive from my place. If I’m using the app it’s because obviously I cannot go to a store or not get the product in my local store. Seems like Sephora does not renew their stock (not in the last year anyways) So disappointing because I used to love Sephora!

My points reflected is always inaccurate, I had to email them to reflect the correct one but it immediately doesn’t update by itself when I make any purchase again.
Cannot show review
Product review is an important reference for customer but it keeps showing “there are no reviews for the product yet” when you press the “see reviews” button. Limited brands and products. (Sigma brushes, Pat Mcgraph, Farmacy, and even Sephora collection) And quite a lot of bugs of the app.

A few annoyances
For the most part, shopping is okay. But I’ve noticed a few bugs after a purchase; first was emails about items left in my cart everyday despite not browsing after my last purchase. Second, is the notifications not quite lining up with my order updates - order shipped notification but points to an error instead of opening up my order status. Thankfully none of them affect my purchases or mess with my account info. Still annoying though. I’d prefer not to keep getting emails when my cart is empty.
Sign in issues
When I try to sign into my account it firsts asks for my email then takes me to another page to enter my password. I enter my password but then it says “please enter your email” which I have already done - and it won’t let me enter in again. Please get this fixed, I’ve had to make purchases as a guest and it means I don’t get any points
App could be better
The overall service of Sephora is ok. It could use some improvements in regards to brand availability (Chanel, like in other regions) and accuracy of online order status in the app. But I find the app to be buggy. Online orders don’t always show the right status of my order. It’s always stuck in something other than Completed like “In Transit” or “With Driver” even though I got the packaged weeks ago. I already completed two orders yet my Store Purchases always shows no order inhibiting me from leaving reviews. My Store Purchases only showed up once and never again. At least as of this posting. I also wish my Bag remained consistent. I would leave the app and sometimes the app would forget the contents of my bag making me go through the process of adding each item again — that is, if I even remember the names of the items. The new “what brand do you want to see here on Sephora” questionnaire keeps popping up every time I click Account and somehow it makes me feel writing three instances of CHANEL each time it asks me isn’t gonna work in evening the odds. And, lastly, the other complaint I can remember, is the app keeps popping up in-app and thru notifications coupons that are only applicable to new users like “WANTMORE”. Clearly, because I have an order marked complete I can no longer avail it. I wish it would stop showing to me. Honestly, I want a fluid app more than coupons at this point. It soils the whole shopping experience.
