Avoid
This app is terrible. Your photos go into a black hole. The Android app has clear bug issues that has not been fixed in over a year. Avoid.
Great Way to Share Photos instantly
I’ve had the loop for several years. I bought one for my mom and for each of my siblings. Easy to share photos with everyone else. I wish the video component was a little easier to use and a little more stable. I really appreciate the continued software updates. It gets better all the time.
Easy? Until you use it
I’m still staring at a white screen after having added a 10 image photo album. I hate apps and companies who release products with virtually no instructions and arrogantly think their product is intuitive when it isn’t. (Google, I’m also looking at you!) I am a tech trainer at a company and it failed.
Needs work
Concept is great and basic functionality is fine but major UX improvements needed. For example, you can’t move a photo from one album to another. Instead you would have to delete and re-add it. If you’re adding a bunch of photos from your phone album at once, you can’t put them in different albums. You have to put them in one album. If you are going to put a bunch of selected photos into an album and go back, you lose all of your selections and have to start over. I could go on and on…

It is impossible to connect to WiFi to be able to upload the photos to the loop display, do not waste your money on this and buy Alexa instead.
Setting up as a gift
This method did not work for both of the ones I tried to set up by you gifting method. I had to delete what I did and set it all over again once they received it. Otherwise, I love the loop. Only other complaint is I would love it to be compatible with android so my daughters can send me pictures.
Landscape view missing
Seriously, get a landscape view. Your frames have one..
OK but lacks functionality
The app is ok at what it does, though the set up with FamilyAlbum was very clunky and complicated. Also, I would really appreciate an iOS widget as well as integration with iOS shortcuts to be able to turn off the frame remotely and integrate it into my other smart home workflows.

Worst gift I’ve ever given…
This frame and app are not user friendly at all. Extremely difficult for older family members to set up and use.
So glad I bought this
All the major bugs that existed when I first used this have for the most part been fixed and now I’m so happy I bought this. I got one for my sister and mom as well and we get to share great moments, especially the ones we’ve forgotten about! It’s wonderful for my boys to also see and remember all the things we have done throughout the years. They absolutely love this.
Borderline Horrible App
Boy, good luck trying to get added to anything or add someone else. For some people it works fine and others it does not. This should be the easiest part but it’s far from it. Oh and customer support is awful. Takes at least a week and only after I kept badgering them I gave it two stars because it’s a good looking frame and when it does what it’s supposed to, it works well. Other than that, it’s trying my patience
Frame is cool, app is lacking
The app needs work. It’s too basic. I want to know who has pending invitations. When I invite someone to an album it reads “pending” but that changes back to “share”. It should remain pending so we know what’s been sent. When I have a badge notification and open the app there’s no indication of the activity. This was marketed that it is as simple as texting a photo. That’s not true, an account and an app are required. Edit: Finding additional problems as we use it. We need the ability to delete people or to stop sharing with a particular person. This needs to be resolved immediately! If you accidentally share an album, it’s impossible to fix the mistake. Or say someone is no longer a part of your life/family, but they still have access to your family photos and the ability to add to them. Not good. Please update with this functionality asap.
Keeping family close
I received the frame from my Grandson and his wife for Xmas after I admired the one in their home. I like it very much as I get to see my Great Grandson daily.
Run away
The frame it self is glitching and will not get past connecting to WiFi, this app is beyond a joke. Just return the money!
Great for Grandparents
We have found the Loop to be perfect for sharing grandkid pictures with grandparents. They love it! And it’s easy to manage and a lot of fun.
Good start, but..
lots of room for improvement, the app is very slow, currently only in English, automatic switch-off works - but it doesn't switch on in the morning. No 24h time display.

Disappointed
Son gave this as a birthday present to his mother. Black screen of death after barely a year. Reached out to customer support, they claimed the USB plug was the problem. Really? Promised to send a fix AND SENT NOTHING. Don’t waste your money!
Seemed great for a few minutes...
I just got my Loop2. It was easy to set up, connecting to wifi and adding pictures and channels. It seemed great. Then I sent an invite to my brother, and he can’t join. The link had him download the app and the it said to go back and click the link in the original email. It became an endless loop. There is no user manual for the loop2 that I have been able to find. I can’t add family. It’s just a personal frame. I hope we see a manual for loop2.

Need ability to remove users
My brother is getting divorced and I need a way to remove his soon-to-be ex-wife from an album. We don’t want her to keep seeing photos that everyone in our family is posting to the app. You need to put a fix in place for this ASAP. Between this serious miss and the many hardware issues we’ve had with the Loop frame, I’m not impressed with this product.
Was great...now the app won’t open at all
I downloaded the update today. Now the app won’t open at all. This is an expensive device..too expensive for it not to work properly. We’ve had it for two months and we Love it. Or loved.... :(

Very difficult to use
I followed the instructions carefully. After I uploaded three pictures, I could not access my picture albums on my iPhone I would not recommend this device.
Great product!
My 92 yr old mom can’t keep up with technology and feels left out as our family (spread across the country) uses social media to keep in touch. My sister got this for mom and we all easily share pics. Mom knows we are thinking of her. I call her to chat and let her know there are new pics.
I have been trying for weeks to set up
There is no real support. no phone number or address. They email me back every few days but of course I don’t see the email immediately as I’m working or living life and by the time I get back to the support help, the guy is gone and I need to start again. I’m considering disputing purchase with credit card. I’m really angry.
Keep in touch
Wonderful and simple way to communicate with family members and friends thru pictures. Look forward every day seeing pictures of my grandkids who live in New York and California. My son-in-law bought one for his family who lives in Europe and now they can see pictures from all of us here in the states. Especially nice for them to easily stay in touch especially now with them not being able to visit with the Covid SARS 2 debacle. Nice gift to buy for your older relatives who are not technically savvy to allow them an easy way to “stay in touch” and enjoy their love ones. A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.
Absolute Garbage
Absolute garbage. Quick set up in 2 minutes is an absolute lie. Troubleshooting steps do not work. I get errors every single step of the way. I’ve yet to successfully upload a single photo that then also shows on my frame. Do not buy. Feels like a scam.
My Mother Loves her Loop
My mother is 101 and really loves looking at photos and videos on her Loop. It helps entertain her and gives her a feeling of connection.
