Ridiculous
Date of Birth option is ridiculous…. I’m 71 years and I’m not scanning back to 1955 one month at a time. I’m trying to be compliant with on line business requests but you make it impossible So keep wasting my time and yours sending me paper
Convenience
The app is very self-sufficient. It is convenient to use and make payments. The major inconvenience is that you cannot call to pay and it takes at least five days for your payment to post.
Linking accounts
Having to constantly re link my bank accounts is beyond frustrating.
Slow
It does a decent job of amalgamating various aspects of one's total net worth, but it takes up to 2 days to update the value of one's assets in NM accounts. Even more ideally it would be great to trade within the app.

Not user friendly
I keep trying to change my information on the app and it’s not working for me.
Cash Flow Tab
This is a great app for an overview of total net worth. However, one change I would like to see is being able to create my own categories within the cash flow tab. This would allow myself to add more personalization when categorizing transactions as opposed to being forced to use the generic “other/uncategorized” option. I hope this feature can be implemented soon!
I like the app, but…
I’ve been using the app a little over a year, but just recently it started having this annoying glitch. I have 2 houses and both mortgages would update as I pay them off. Now it shows the same mortgage twice, which throws off my net worth by like $120k. Tried deleting and reconnecting and it fixes it until I log back in.
Needs improvement
This needs to provide clearer insight to ask aspects of the investment. IRS not very intuitive.
Great app
Only thing bad is how accounts get out of sync. May not be a NM issue but I wish everything stayed in sync and there was some way to do that
Awful
Hard to believe this is what a major financial institution considers acceptable. Terrible all around. Connecting external accounts is slow and unreliable. Once connected unstable. Confusing UX. Mediocre analytics. And just today I’m told I need an update. So I do. Then When I try I to open the app after the update it’s still stuck on “update needed” page and won’t let me login. Just an endless loop of badness

One of the worst financial apps
Limited in usefulness and constantly wants password updated. Fidelity and Schwab apps and far better.
External Accounts and Document Access
Decent application. I like the account graphics and overall organization. External accounts don’t stay connected for long. I don’t have an issue with that in principle, but when reconnecting external accounts, it takes approximately 1-2 minutes per account and occasionally has issues connecting at all. There is also no way to access full insurance policy documents through the app. Just statements and notices.
Amazing service
Cody Richardson and his team are wonderful and have helped me with all of my needs. Have had deep conversations to better understand my goals and aspirations. Highly recommend!
Newest update left me uninformed
I logged into my account after the update and my account information is gone. Nothing in there at all. My insurance plan- gone. My payment receipts - gone. Annual report- gone. Tax documents-gone. Financial representative info-gone. Everything is gone!!!
Would benefit from major update
This app would benefit from a major UI update. The app has potential, but is not intuitive. There are too many clicks to find simple things, no customization, and overall hard to know what your money is doing at a glance. Would love to see a major overhaul of UI to address these issues. Fidelity and other apps are much easier to look at and navigate.

Nightmare… consistent nightmare
Awful trying to receive bills and make payments
Document death loop
Signing up was easy, creating the account wasn’t an issue, but filling out any of the information on the health history is not possible on the app in its current state. After navigating to the proper tab to begin the questionnaire and tapping on that, it brings you to a separate screen in the app to verify DoB and SSN after which you must accept the terms of service - all standard practices. Only downside is after you do this it brings you back to the verify DoB and SSN then into the accepting terms and again. I did this 5 or 6 times to see if it was just a glitch. Got the same thing. Closed out the app and tried again with the same result. Tried accessing it through the pending questionnaires and it brought me to the same page, after closing it out it brings up a page that breaks down all of the perks of going through NWM and what they offer, it asks you what type of policy you want to look at and after selecting the policy that I spoke about with my rep, it just said “we will contact your rep and he will follow up with you shortly” I work in close proximity to other app developers, it really isn’t hard to fix these issues. To see it from a company that has so much backing is astounding.
Linked Accounts Never Work
Nice app layout and ease of navigation, but why do my connected accounts always have an issue or never update? The net worth summary would be great if it was able to pull information from my accounts…:(

Cannot run on IOS 16 anymore
Very frustration!!!!! It say’s that I need IOS 17 and after to run the app now. It will down load the prior version…. But when you open the app…it says you must update to IOS 17. To do that…. I must spend $799 - $1,399 to purchase a new IPhone. NOT GOING TO DO IT!!!!! This is Apples way of blackmailing customers into upgrading their phones…. Where the old phone works perfectly fine!!!! COME ON NWM…. Quit caving to APPLE!!!!

Terrible service
I've been a 40 year customer ... bought over 1 million of insurance.. a 1.7 million 2 nd to die policy and the most expensive long term care policy ... One would think I could at get a phone call from anyone after 4 requests ... to answer some questions.. nope! if your not buying ... you're ignored ... totally disappointed with NM ... the " quiet company " ... yes.. quiet unless you wanna buy more ...

Nothing works
Can’t link any account from any financial institution. Called customer support whose only focus was the fact that my local credit union wouldn’t link even though accounts from Chase, Citi and Empower would not link. All information has to be entered manually.
Amazing financial planning tool
Aggregates all of my financial accounts into one place and provides me a detailed financial plan in real-time. Very valuable tool to have in my back pocket.
