Abandoned app
No updates in a whole year. There’s an apparently unresolvable ‘communication issue’ error that happens with every attempted connection on my new iPhone 17 running the latest version of iOS 26. Also, it crashes a lot.

Inkompatibel
Ich verstehe nicht, warum Auria als Output in Audiobus 3 steht, aber nicht als Input in Auria angezeigt wird. Da scheint etwas nicht mehr zu funktionieren. Schade, der Ansatz war eigentlich gut.
Now needs internet connection to launch properly?!
Audiobus doesn't start or takes eternity to launch when there is no internet connection. Why does it work this way? All my presets are stored on my iPad. Please fix this!

UPDATE: Recent update has resolved IAA zombie process issue and removed incessant "continue" button. ~12sec splash screen is immensely irritating and seems to require some kind of internet access to launch, though (trying to phone home?). Even so, an improvement from last few releases. OLD: My my... They've actually managed to make it worse... After years without any usability improvements and few bug fixes, this new patch introduces an incessant "continue" button on the boot splash instead of just launching the interface as before, as well as breaks IAA even further (now they launch as zombie processes, requiring manual intervention or even reboot). Worst of all, IT NOW CONTAINS TRACKERS.

Very good software. The best of the best. I wish you start making some killer audio instruments too so that we find everything we need in Audiobus. Audiobus is the foundation of my live music. Thank you so much! Need one for Mac OS and why not for Window too. We need it for Mac OS. Can I use it for the new Mac?

I paid for this app and now you took it away from me using unless i pay for subscription??? this is messed up and now you have trackers in this MUSIC AP? why do you need to track anyone this is music app not anything that’s needs you collecting any information from its users!!! You need to give me access back to what i bought!!!
Still trying to sync
I like the app, but having issues with syncing up everything. Using with Moog apps and Audio Kit. Also using an Akai MPK mini, to try to control everything.
Formerly great
Audiobus 3 was the glue of my music app setup for years. During my last flight I discovered that it had been broken. It appears to have been purchased by some other company that decided to implement an always-online component that can only be avoided with a subscription. It doesn’t matter if you paid full price in the past, it’s downgraded for everyone. Phones are usually online so who cares, right? Normally you might not notice, but if you are on a flight, in a cellular dead zone, or away from wifi, this app becomes useless.

Audiobus Review
Very good multi app audio mixer, enhances the sound and experience of other audio apps while playing back on iPhone…not sure how the recordings translate to DAW input but I think that is more Apple scrambling signals and unbalanced cable interference…working on deciphering the corded & or micD transfer accurately

So, audiobus doesn't work with cubasis 3? I wish I'd known that before I bought it. I don't understand why these apps don't work with software that's newer than the stuff that they worked with four years ago. I read something about audiobus not being able to communicate with cubasis 3? That's just great… Love him doesn't communicate huh?

Recent Change to Subscription Plan
I payed for this app in november, I am holding back updating this app. If i update will I still have full access because I already payed? - Update: The “developer response team” has responded to numerous reviews but seems to have willingly ignored this one. It looks like they do intend to revoke access of previously paid users.
On a good day
Very useful, if you ever use more that one app simultaneously , a hub for (most) of your music apps. Virtual mixer that is midi mappable. Route apps, and control everything in one place, all in sync, mapped to your hardware, volume, parameters, Ableton link, midi clock. On a good day However, always a bit unstable and prone to odd crash. But that is usually because of flaky apps that aren’t compatible or processing power. And must make GarageBand integration less clunky. Probably Apple’s fault.
Link to midi clock is all over the place
Can’t get a solid sync at all. Doesn’t ever phase cancel when testing. Doesn’t even come close. Had to revert to using link to midi which is rock solid. Link to midi doesn’t work on the latest iOS but luckily I remembered I had an old iOS so i still got rock solid sync. Sort the sync issue out. Link to midi is better but it’s no longer compatible
Audiobus 2 marche mieux pour moi
IPad changé en standard pour la batterie,et upgrade d'ios j'étais resté en iOS 10 ou 11, réinstallation d'audiobu 2s, ampkit pour la guitare, anytune pour les playback mp3 et mimix pour mixer les niveaux et m'entendre jouer sur le playback. Il faut impérativement accepter les réseaux et usb sinon ca ne marche pas. Egalement sur le 2 ampkit n'apparaît plus en input mais en effet, heureusement j'avais sauvegardé ma config. J'ai pris audiobus 3 dans mes difficultés a faire fonctionner le 2, et au final les deux fonctionnent mais le 3 sort moins fort pour travailler au casque, je garde le 2 et vais essayer de me faire rembourser le 3 qui marche moins bien.

Love this app for adding layers to vocals, guitar and really any other instruments. I’m using an old iPhone XS on my guitar pedalboard and using it live with no issues. With my Quad Cortex, Nano Cortex, Kemper and HX Stomp it’s fantastic as a host for multiple programs and midi hub for all of them. Love this app. ❤️❤️

This is sad. The app is an iOS legend. Completely responsible for getting me into iOS music making. Have a dedicated iPad with hundreds and hundreds of music apps and was still using Audiobus all the time. It was recently sold to new owners… now I am sadly deleting it. Gone are the days of passing the time playing with Audiobus on flights and other times without wifi. Now it needs a connection to check if you have paid for a subscription I guess (barf, I will NEVER do that). Why would I subscribe to an app I’ve owned for probably a decade? Just because you broke it and it won’t work correctly unless I do? Nope. At least introduce some exciting new features and a roadmap of what you expect in the future if you’re going to push a subscription. I would still dump the app but at least it wouldn’t feel scammy.
AutoPad not working with Audiobus
Try as I might, I’m unable to use AutoPad with Audiobus. I’ve followed the instructions given - nothing🤔 Using IPad 9th Gen into Auria Any suggestions? Kevin

Can no longer route audio to or from my interface since iOS 15 installed. Interface is class compliant, works with other apps fine, and is recognised by Audiobus (all inputs and outputs). But no signal passing. Very disappointed. Unclear how/where/why the problem exists or how best to troubleshoot. It has previously been excellent and was also running the MIDI control side with relatively decent functionality (albeit not ‘full’ control). Now it appears to be almost totally redundant app on my iPad… gutted
Ach wie schön, wenn es bei mir liefe.
Hallo, vorweg, dass, was ich hier und da mit Audiobus schon hören kann, ist richtig gut. ABER leider ist dies nicht die Regel. Genutzt wird in meinem Fall ipad air2 12.5.5. Die Regel sind laaangen Ladezeiten der meisten Apps, bei Wiederaufruf gespeicherter Session noch länger. Appmengen über 5 sind schon nicht mehr stabil. Falls diese auch geladen werden. Hier wird es nervig. Habe in Audiobusforen gelesen woran es liegen könnte. Latenz hochgestellt auf 512 oder 1024. Audiobus und betroffene Apps mit update wieder neu installiert. Nun bilde ich mir ein, es sei etwas besser geworden, aber irgendwann Crickelt, Cracklt es, dann folgt bpm Chaos und stürzt mit Biepen ab. Bpm stellt sich auch schonmal bei laden einer weiteren App einfach auf 20 bpm oder anderen Wert. Life wäre das dann etwas unprofessionell. Genutzte Apps, Problem in Midi wie Audiomod: -Moog mod.15, Crickel, Crackel, bpm Chaos, Crash -Moog mod. d, siehe mod. 15 -Moog animoog, etwas stabiler als mod.15 -Moog Filtatron, kein Sound, obwohl Signal im Mixer -DM2 Drum, zeitweise ok., dann wie mod.15 -Vatanator Drum, siehe mod.15 -Shockwave, wie DM2 -Lorentz, ok. -Ruismaker noire, ok. -Atom Pianoroll, wie DM2 In der Hoffnung auf Besserung, habe ich AB Remote hinzu geholt. Leider ohne Erfolg was Störungen und Abstürze betrifft. So werde ich mich wohl leise wieder von Audiobus verabschieden. In einem anderem bekanntem Mixer laufen die Apps tatsächlich rund. Audiobus ist sicher richtig gut, habe halt einfach Pech mit meiner ollen ipad Möhre.

How can I auto load the last preset I was using when I start the app?

Eigentlich sollte man annehmen das die App in der Lage ist stabile Verbindungen zum Beispiel mit Cubasis3 aufzubauen was bei mir nicht klappt. Zumindest erschließt sich mir die Logik nicht nach der das funktionieren sollte
Une bonne App... mais après...
L’application est très intéressante, il s’agit d’une alternative moins aisée que l’App concurrente AUM... Cependant, outre le fait qu’il y a un petit problème de stabilité, 1 « plantage » (but) toutes les 3 ou 4 utilisations... selon la charge (iPAD PRO 2021), après avoir fait tous les routages « MIDI » et « Audio », que pouvons-nous faire pour enregistrer le tout ailleurs que sur GarageBand... Je travaille sur Ableton Live 11, Logic PRO X.5 et .6, FL Studio selon l’envie... L’idéal serait d’avoir une continuité entre l’iPAD avec toutes ces Apps qui offrent une expérience géniale et un DAW sur un Mac (ou un PC) via le port USB_C pour une connexion en USB.3 ou HDMI... Si cela existe, pour l’heure je ne l’ai pas trouvé... Pourtant il me semble que l’App concurrente permet cette expérience... (quelques vidéos sur YT montre une sortie HDMI...). Ainsi, je formule une demande pour la prochaine mise à jour... Une meilleure stabilité et une consommation optimisée de ressources + l’Exploitation en live de l’audio des performances dans un DAW installé sur un Mac... Bonne continuation, Laurent
Some issues but can be very useful
Audiobus seems to have set the standard for audio routing on IOS and recent experiences confirm that it is a powerful audio and midi app routing/mixing tool. However I've had to work my way around bugs such as latency, weird feedback sounds or no sound at all from apps, when recording from Elastic drums into Loopy for example.Seems to suffer from less issues and latency when using only one or two audio app lines at a time. I appreciate the fact that it must be quite hard to interface with so many apps though.
Buggy
Every IAA app I’ve tried with Audiobus 3 gives an error “Communication issue. Audiobus cannot communicate with this app…” Never had this issue with Audiobus 2. I’m on iOS 15.8.3 and all my apps are fully updated.

App in the studio
What’s the hype
Audio out always drops. Using Amplitude and GarageBand, monitor turned on, this is hit and miss. Sounds better using inter app audio straight into GarageBand.... I must be missing something, not doing anything I didn’t have before, in less complicated format... not overly impressed.
No GarageBand Support
Could not use GarageBand as an extension...to be more specific as an input.

The Buggiest App on my iPad.
I was a user from when this app first appeared, and for the first couple of years it was fantastic …. BUT.. it’s been getting buggier and buggier since, and I can’t remember the last time I used it and it worked the way it was supposed to. Take today’s session for example, I try to load an app into the input. Fails. I have to relaunch the app. Fails. Then I have to restart the entire iPad. Then it finally launches but says it might not perform properly. I select Aurea as my output, and when I launch it, wipes clean everything from the project I was working on, all tracks disappeared! Unbelievable. Fortunately I had a back up. I finally get it recording into Auria, but I have to work on the iPad internal speakers because it won’t recognize my Bluetooth speaker, no sound comes out, ever. So do my recording, go to close the app, and it glitches out and creates a giant volume surge out of the iPad speakers, not great for my tinnitus. Way to go, beginning to end an unpleasant experience. Deleted for good this time.

Mais je me suis trompé... je dois donc rester sur AB2. Je ne suis pas arrivé à le faire fonctionner avec audioshare... pas de sons en sortie. Je regrette mon achat. Edit : j'ai finalement réussit à le faire fonctionner avec Audioshare en bidouillant un peu... Mais je reste tout de même un peu déçu... on verra avec l'usage.
