Accidental download, Terrible dull grand piano. Waste of money.
I accidentally downloaded this app. Deleted it almost immediately. Reached out to Korg, still haven’t seen my refund. I would have kept it and eaten the download price - except that the one stock sound it comes with, supposedly a grand piano, is dull and lifeless. The D1983 grand that comes with the **free** NUMA Player app is far better.
No aftertouch
Love the sounds Some are kind of expensive though I would really love the aftertouch modulation on this app like in iM1 Please..
1.3gb and one piano!
OK, I get it. You gotta buy the sound samples. But why is it 1.3Gb for the free version and you only get one measly piano? Deleted in disgust.
$70 to get all features?
Impressed with the base app. Low latency and good tone quality from the basic piano is great. But I’m confused. It costs $40 to upgrade to module pro and that still doesn’t allow layering and split functions? I have to add an extension pack to get layering and split features? That’s crazy. Those would be considered basic features in most keyboards, software and applications. Is Sampletank the only other option out there?
Great sounds and interface
I was impressed by the pianos on this app, both acoustic and electric. I really love the vintage sounding electric pianos and the interface lets you control all the essential parameters. Really great sounding organs with slow and fast vibrato controls that gradually speed up and slow down, all of which can be midi controlled. I use it in Cubasis as an auv3 plugin and it works great. I bought the Essential Complete package and love all the sounds that come with it.
Could not get in on the sale because of Tech Issues
I have owned the Korg module for years, and I wanted to get the ivory American, D acoustic piano, but I had technical difficulty and missed the sale. Can I still do this? Thank you!
Great App but..
Absolutely love this app and it integrates well with garage band. My only complaint is that I recently got a MacBook that I mainly use for music now and I really wish this app was available on that!!
So irritating major issues Foot Pedal
I bought multiple packs just for my MAudio Pedal not to work? For example when I play the piano layer w/pad it doesn’t sustain. I need it for live gigs. Embarrassing when it happened during gig.
Nice teaching tool
I bought the Korg micro key air for travel. The Korg Module is helpful for that. I have 3 other pianos so I don’t use this tiny keyboard much but when ever it makes I hook up. There is a little delay if you use the Bluetooth and even some with hard wire. The greates thing about this is the sound quality. It would be better if the Korg micro key had full size keys though.
Lost my sounds I paid for
I’m very upset at this app. The title says it all. I updated this app and now all the sounds I had did not come back with the update. What did you do KORG. This very upsetting. Right now all can say is KORG is a rip off. I’m sure you can’t fix it either. Worst app ever don’t buy.
General 128 price
I believe that when I downloaded the free trial period a week ago, with one day left today, the price was $9.99. When I looked again to consider adding it to the other 27 expansions I purchased since 2020, the price seemed to have jumped to. $19.99. Did I really misread that? I suspect not, so I am just a little confused.
Several patches crash the app every time.
Spent money on the hybrid 2 pack, but several instruments just crash the app consistently on my iPad Pro

Amazing Sound
Realistic sound and lots of sound options.
Lost Purchased Ivory Mobile Grand after Korg Module update
I purchased the Ivory Mobile Grand just 2 weeks ago within my Korg Module on my IPad. I just updated the Korg Module App, now the expensive app Ivory Mobile Grand is gone! How do I get it back? You cannot tell me I need to pay for it all over again, because I will never use this app again.
It’s very good but no so good with Gadget integration.
I’ve had this for some time and it works as part of the KORG Gadget 2 DAW as well. It shows up as Fairbanks in Gadget 2, but most of the Gadget IAPs I have installed aren’t available in Fairbanks. For example if I want to use an acoustic piano in Fairbanks, I only have one available despite having more than that in Module.
Module Performance Trial doesn’t allow trial of split/layers
I just installed the 7 day trial and I cannot test the split/layers, midi learn features or the setlist feature. The trial seemed to only install a handful of presets.
Bom app
KORG INC.
I will have five stars.
Onscreen keyboards are terrible
On screen keyboards are atrocious. The single octave is too large to use and the 3 octave is too small. Kong engineers must have some weirdly sized hands.
Supreme…
Please update or refund
Lately this app has been making my phone (iPhone 11 13.4 iOS) heat up when I use it.. which doesn’t seem to happen with iGrand piano.. I have tried reinstalling. Revised (5/12/20) PleaSe update or refund. After multiple times of uninstalling and reinstalling, the app definitely makes my phone heat up making my phone hot to the touch on the back! No heating problems whatsoever with iGrand piano or perfect piano or garage band.
Need help
I bought the expansion that allows LAYER and SPLIT for MODULE PRO, but when using MODULO FREE, I couldn't install it. That's right?
Nice sounds
I like this app it needs more Brass, woodwind, Basses and nice Latin Percusion sound for people like me that make latin productions. But all that is done with this app is really nice.
No 7 Day Free Trial
WONT DOWNLOAD FOR A FREE TRIAL ON MY IPAD. IT STATED IT DOWNLOADED BUT ALL I GET IS THE SAME OLD PIANO
Not A 7-Day Trial
I wanna try the mimopop 7-Day-Trail.But It Cost Me Immediately 9.99! Why?
Waste of money
Sounds ok but no midi mapping
Needs work
Connected to my XB20 and when I use the sound pack from Korg (available for purchase via the module store) it doesn’t sound the same on the piano. You just know what you are playing when you listen to the recording. Extremely frustrating. Also don’t understand why you need to save the file prior to be able to listen to it and cannot listen to it on the Korg app. The yamaha app for their pianos works a lot better. Is thy the same issue with the pro version. Is there any other alternative that works better?
Simply the best
The best app I’ve ever used in my live performances.
Does not connect to microKEY Air
Bought the 61 keys keyboard in the hopes to use it with this app, no matter what I try it will not connect. And this seems like a very common problem. I would not have bought the microKEY Air had I known this was going to be an issue, the keyboard is practically useless until I figure out a different use for it. Fairly disappointed in KORG on this one.
Great App
I needed a App I could play my midi keyboard and split two sounds on it because Iplay live using the left hand for bass sounds and the right hand for piano sounds. It was easy to setup the split points and sounds.
Does not work well with Yamaha / Steinberg products.
Sounds great as a sound generator and works well if you connect midi direct to the app. The bad If you would like to use it with Cubasis , forget it as it does not interapp at all. Also using a Bluetooth Yamaha UD-BT01 Bluetooth does not work as it keeps disconnecting. A great piece of software but not ready for stage for me yet. Play nice with your competition and I might invest more money with Korg
Great quality sounds
Great sound quality, but will upgrading from Korg module to Korg module pro deliver better sound quality for existing expansion packs?
No way these are Korg Sounds
Downloaded then downloaded expansion packs. More like a cheap walmart casio than any Kork Kronus sound. Scam. Take the name korg off of this. Cant make real music with this.
Pretty Great Sound Module App
Love this app - so simple and user friendly to hook up to a MIDI keyboard and have some sounds right from your phone. Wish the text under some of the knobs was bigger - can barely read it - also find some of the knobs not useful - would much rather lose some of those and have some basic ADSR knobs. Also wish there was a way to ‘favourite’ some of the sounds you use the most - can so easily get lost in sound options (especially the ones that have such subtle differences)
Buggy
Good idea for an app and sound modules work well, but the set list function is very buggy. Adding photos or PDFs to songs is very hit and miss, sometimes it takes, sometimes doesn't. Adding text doesn't work with my bluetooth keyboard. I would also prefer to see the name of the song in large font, rather than the sound module it uses, as that would make it much easier to see whilst performing.
Can’t import a song. Can you fixed it?
Can’t import a song. Can you fixed it?
Love this app
Great sound at an affordable price.
Trial doesn’t allow split layering
I was about to pull the trigger on about $100 worth of sound modules to use in module and was going to purchase the module that does split layering. Unfortunately, the demo doesn’t allow me to see if that will even work with korg module. So I’m rethinking my entire purchase. Please advise how I can demo it. Also such an ordeal to free up storage space because it seems the only way to delete a module to get it off my ipad is to delete the entire app and then reinstall app with the modules you want to keep. These are huge files and such a hassle and killer of my time to reinstall. Korg, there’s got to be a better way!?
Please add AUv3
I’m a long time user of Korg Keyboards professionally . Please please add AUv3 functionality . If you did it would intergrate perfectly with AUM and Camelot pro and would be a real benefit to those performing live . Come on KORG you can do it
Could do better!
I wouldn't bother downloading this app even if it's 'free'. Compared to iKmultimedia's iGrand app it is really not very good. The piano sounds tinny and the velocity response when played from a proper keyboard (eg Roland RD800 or Casio PX5s) is rubbish. The velocity curve adjustment possible within the app isn't sufficient to fix it either. iGrand just worked right from the start and although it doesn't have sympathetic resonance, the overall performance is much more like playing a piano. Korg you should be ashamed. Certainly there is no point in buying the full app, even if it's currently at half price.
MIDI-Output fehlt
Sound amazing
Since I bought this vst sounds, I can’t stop. They sound amazing!
Not connecting to MicroKey Air
Used to work just fine, but now the app doesn’t connect to my MicroKey Air. Disappointed because I had already purchased a sound pack $. I hope this gets corrected. Also wish all the instruments’ piano keys were in tune in the Ivory pack.
After LE
I bought two of the packs for features and synths after the app became Module. I like the ability to modify, which should be expected, and I can get what I want. I did find the strings lacking in authenticity. Strings have to have that buzz, and it seems to be missing from all the selections. Cello does not sound anything like a real cello, no buzz and very little resonance. I might be able to mess with it, but out of the box it isn’t stringlike. I can get a better string with pure waveform. EDIT tried it again, ,not sure whyI thought it was that bad, I can use it with a tweak or two on the attack and maybe I can get more resonance. Bumped up a star.
Very limited
This is a large 1Gb download, so you'd think there is a lot of different instruments to play....WRONG! You just get the piano, and you can't change any perimeter but it sounds really good, but that's it, if you press any button you get a message to pay for it, so it's very limited, I know this is the free version but the write up on this is a bit misleading. It implies you can do more than just play the piano. Quite disappointed. I would probably have bought the full app if this demo was a bit forthcoming in what it can do.
Eigentlich gut Aber!
