I got sl88 mk2 and the numa player never play good please fix the bug wit noise from a control mk2 88. I put bufer up and down never work please fixed
Can’t get USB audio to work
I think it’s weird that although this is made to work with SL controllers I can’t get the app to play over USB audio on my SL 88 Mk2….any other app I’ve hooked up to the SL played immediately … although in the app there’s a field to select the audio output I can’t make a selection for my SL 88

Very nice sounds and interface. Definitely would have paid for this. Only wish that the Rhodes, Clavinets, and even Harpsichord sounds had release samples. Maybe in an update?

Can’t Here anything
I really don’t like when this happens with apps, and when I dowload the app I cannot hear anything and what frustrates me about this problem is that it comes in a variety of instruments, so I can’t hear the instruments or my programs. Until improved, I’m afraid I have to keep this 2 / 5.

Nice sounds , multiple SoundFont & instruments
I really needed to have multiple instruments in one plugin at the same time to save CPU usage. This app does exactly that. Thanks for adding sf2. But unfortunately the Crash happens when adding some soundfonts including the famous GeneralUser_GS_v1.471 soundfont, when you want to add a second track or when you want to change the instrument. How nice it would be if we could change the instruments of each track through the program changes messages.and How nice it has pan for each track .
Un piccolo sogno
Finalmente posso fare i complimenti a Studiologic per la praticità e qualità di questa semplice ma intuitiva App. Pensando a soli 350 Mgb la qualità é indiscussa. Lo uso con iPad Air 2020 è lo trovò già a poche ore di utilizzo più che completo. Suoni usabilissimi e combinazioni a 4 parti facili da impostare in poco tempo. App leggera che non appesantisce la cpu e piccola selezione di suoni basilari ma di qualità. Ad oggi faccio i miei complimenti a Studiologic . Aggiorno. Con l’ultima versione rilasciata migliora la qualità dei campioni ma assorbe troppa batteria e presenta frequenti crepitii …. Ritengo che bisogna rivederla e correggere questi bug.
Save user presets/library
I used Numa player since a long time, connected with a studiologic numax88 piano. All was fine, but since last version, i can no more overwrite presets or save user presets. Very bad point
Amazing!
This app is incredible. I've used it since I first started on GarageBand, and I've never stopped. As far as I'm concerned, it has the best electric piano sounds anybody's ever heard. I still can't believe it's free!

Great app for midi keyboards
Numa Player instrument sounds are good but Stage D piano - an add on which has to be paid for, is up there with the best sounding vst pianos (I also have VSL synchron Pianos and Modartt Pianoteq 9) and is one of my favourites. I use it with a Studiologic SL88mk2 midi keyboard, but it works fine with my portable midi keyboard.
How do you play this on your touch screen ?

Previous issues resolved. But requesting Balance control
Everything is as awesome as I’ve previously stated… except a bug has reared its head. If you keep the sustain pedal depressed for some seconds and done some busy playing, when you hit 510 active voices the volume of newly played notes becomes significantly lower. This happens even if you are running multi-core. EDIT: issue resolved. It was deep in my midi configuration. That said, it would be awesome if the app included a Balance control. Either in each individual Zone (ideal), or in the Master out section. There are many instances where running this app into one channel, and a different music instrument app into the other, would be a godsend.

midi volume not working?
i love the update, mostly. However, for some reason my Zone control slider on my Yamaha CP-33 doesn't control the volume now, after this update...it worked before, without doing anything!
Great Sound with a Few Issues
Sound quality is great, much better than I expected. A few issues I noticed: CPU usage is higher than I expected. Also it often times doesn’t register when I play a key in the keyboard which makes it unusable for me. Hoping this gets fixed soon.

Every time I play in GarageBand it’ll say ‘audio extension quit’ and other times it’ll work perfectly other than that I’d give it 5 stars if that was fixed.

Said they had a MacOS version, turns out that was a lie.
Free is a good thing, but you get what you pay for
This is, thus far, a very interesting approach to generating music on ISO devices. Now admittedly, I’m just getting into it but I’m using it as a standalone unit right now and maybe that’s the problem. Because when I hit the keyboard button so I can hear, what I’m doing as I program and make changes with the different effects, every time I example or change level, the keyboard disappears. So I have to go to the pulldown menu and the keyboard to come back. God, what a pain! So I’ll use it inside GarageBand iOS and see if the problem remains and get back to everybody.
It would be great if it weren’t for sustain pedal issues
The sustain pedal doesn’t work with this app, all you get is obnoxious noise when you press the sustain pedal. NOTE to Developers: I’m using the Yamaha FC3A Piano-style Sustain Pedal with Half-damper Control with my P-125 digital piano w/USB MIDI controller.

The IOS app is missing account info which means you will not be able to install and use a the stage D piano sounds you got for free after purchasing one of their controllers.

With more presets and a better UI this could be a essential app for any musician. It should have a visible shortcut to enable/disable on screen keyboard or at least an Audition button.

This app is amazing for playing piano with really good piano samples! And I also love that you can import sf2 files with no problems! One feature I would want to have. Please add support for SFZ files! It would make this app a little bit better!
This thing is free!?!
It’s crazy that this app is free! All you need is any keyboard that has MIDI out, and with this app you have sound like an expensive Korg, Roland, or Yamaha keyboard. Getting it is a no-brainer.
Great App but Not Fully Reliable
This app provides a stellar steinway sound, and a great UI for a gigging musician. It is almost a perfect app, except that there seems to be polyphony issues when playing consistently for more than a few minutes and notes start to drop out. Because the MIDI Panic button is hidden in the settings, it makes this app not perfect yet for gigging. Ideally we’d be able to adjust the polyphony setting ourselves to avoid this note dropout. Additionally, there are some noise issues with the string resonance that you have to solve by increasing the buffer size to an unusable delay. It would be great to see this improve. All that being said, I really hope Studiologic keeps working on this app and maybe down the road we see IAPs for additional SL sounds that we see on their Numa Piano series.
Love the sounds but v1.05 still has polyphony bug
The sounds are amazing. This free app is a perfect companion to the Studiologic SL88 that I just purchased. I would give it 5 stars but the polyphony bug is annoying and needs to be fixed. I would fully trust this app on a live gig if the polyphony bug was addressed. I am not even layering sounds.

Noise sustain
Every time I press the sustain pedal there’s a noise coming out of the app and I can’t find a way to fix it
Pretty darn good for a free app
Overall, this app is a potential gem. I emphasize the word potential, only because the Rhodes sounds are too gentle sounding for my taste. They lack that dynamic bark that you should get when you dig into the keys. The only other gripe I have with this app is if you make an tone color settings, it doesn’t retain your settings even after you save it, it always reverts back to the original setting. You can’t expect perfection for free, but this is as good as it gets for a free app.
Polyphony
PLEASE FIX POLYPHONY, I connected this thru my midi keyboard and when i play fast or sometimes even slow, notes are cutoff. I play pretty chunky chords so PLEASE FIX THIS.

This app has one flaw
This is an amazing app, but one drawback to this app is that.Whenever I duplicate this extension it quits, and this is not the first time this happened. I’ve used this audio unit extension since January of this year, and it gave me problems all this year. It kept quitting or if it’s not that, then it slows down the process of exporting my songs or it just completely shuts down and refuses to have no part in my song. So you👉need to fix it NOW😡😡.
So very close!
I’m updating a very positive review to bring it down a notch. This app sounds wonderful, and it the polyphony bug is partially fixed, but it will still start dropping notes after you have been playing anything with any complexity for a few minutes. This is a problem because it sounds so good that it makes you want to play. Ravenscroft 275 may not sound as good, but at least it doesn’t drop notes when you are playing, even after a long session. This is so, so very close, but it still needs a little work to bring it home!
