Great cameras, great app
Only issue I had with the NVR was motion zones on 3/5 cameras glitching out and not notifying or even registering events, but after a soft reset of the NVR, everything is flawless. Motion events all notify within seconds, and pulling up the event playback and/or switching to live view works perfectly. I have good internet at home, so live view anywhere is great quality-wise. Good stuff, glad I went with Annke.

For some reason it says the captcha is incorrect considering it’s exactly the same. Live tried over 20 times and still nothing.
It’s great but…
I love Annke CCTV cameras and the fact that they’re free with no subscription. The app is great but the only thing that bugs me is the 5 minute timeout. There has to be a way to remove this when you’re at home on the same WiFi? I also have the Annke Vision desktop app for my PC when I’m working in my office. That app never times out. Surely the iPhone app time limit can be removed if you’re at home just like the desktop app?
Make please fix PAN TILT
Since latest new update on iOS 26 I can’t control my pts caneras from my mobile app no icon in the app to control camera , please add that feature back it’s the reason we buy PTZ cameras

These security cameras are just the best ! I had them for years and they still work great, the image is amazing. But recently the quality on some are blurry at times. But other than that they are great.
Worst app ever
Not sure how the rating is so high. This app sucks. It’s lags and locks up. Rarely ever works correctly.

It’s so slow when I need to replay the camera for my business I’m thinking about switching unless you guys fix it. It’s slow in everything, when it load, replay, or choose a camera. Its pissin my offf

What is happening?
Never had such an issue. It’s saying “ no more connections are allowed for the device.” What does that even mean? I can’t view and it keeps pausing. It’s essentially useless for live views right now.
Great App
This is a great app but would benefit from having the F10 sec and R10 sec when reviewing footage on the timeline! It’s so difficult to pin point activity when scrolling.
Live View Pause
Why suddenly unable to live view on devices for no more than 5 minutes? Everything was fine before. Please fix it!
Good at first now not so good
I know how to work that really good it’s up-to-date. I have it on the iPhone but yet somehow when I turn notifications off that doesn’t work anymore so I get notifications nonstop whether I want it or not turning them off doesn’t do anything. I’m surprised the proximity is still the way I left it.

The upper corner button not accessible
The buttons on the upper left and right corner such as back and save are not accessible.
Good App, But...
Please update your app icon so it complies with the iOS 18 Dark Mode. It's just about the only app icon left on my home screen that doesn't have a dark version. Also, please also consider adding a dark mode for the app interface, itself. The white background is very bright and unpleasant to look at when using in a dark room. Thank you.
Bring back playback speeds
Please bring it back. This is one of the most important features and it has been gone for 6 months now. It’s very useful when trying to find an event. The icon to select which playback speed we need is completely gone.
App crash.
The app keeps crashing when trying to scan the QR code to reset the device.

Good, but
Really needs the ability to see events (human and vehicle) markers in the playback view and to be able to filter notifications to specific cameras and specific event types, events are the most important feature and these key options are missing
Multiple issues, seems like whoever made this app did not actually try to use it
Setting/drawing motion detection zones is a gigantic mess, the screen scrolls when you’re dragging the points which screws up the box, and then you go to press save afterwards and the button does nothing. So I have to go to my device to configure the camera with a mouse, which defeats the purpose of the app
Recent update
A much better and substantial update. New icons and interface looks great. More of this please. But we need a more accurate way of scrolling through footage. Maybe a button that lets you rewind or forward by increments of 5, 10 or 15 seconds. It’s too hard to get to where you want by the slider.

It would be better if timeline stayed visible when searching in playback,as it keeps disappearing after a few seconds

for the love of god can you make this app have a dark mode, every time i open this app i get flashbanged
The last update has caused a defect
Since the last update and I am unable to view all cameras at the same time. I only can view one camera at a time from my security system. Annke needs to resolve this problem and remove this bug with another software update.
Love the security system
I was using night owl security system, but the dvr stopped recording the vedio. Then I was replacing the dvr with Annke just for $169.99. This is very simple to use and the price is also reasonable.
Viewing cameras
Can you remove the message that pops up when you playback or view cameras that “you are using cellular data” it messes up the playback and causes issues viewing live feed
Phone getting hot since update
Have noticed both phone and iPad getting very hot since latest update. Please advise
Can’t use for legacy Annke NVR
Having to use MS IE as only interface to the 4 camera NVR is too annoying so tried this app. Can’t even get connection using IP nor serial number method. Thought it might be usable but not so. Granted 2015 hardware is probably done for. Will add on to my Protect based AI cameras which are awesome. Just trying to have a backup solution from ChiCom provider.
Video format size
When saving or sharing video in the app, the video format is squished to square rather than the actual widescreen format.

Date issue.
Everything works fine, including date on camera monitor. Problem is when connecting remotely with iPad, date is American. How can I change to Day/ Month/Year on iPad?

Very hard to reset the password is scan. The QR code is still doesn’t come in.
Home security
Easy setup and clear cameras, but when it snows or bugs flying around it sends me notifications which I had 1049 emails overnight. It supposed to have AI capabilities to disingenuous cars and humans it would be nice if it could not be as sensitive to snow.

Worst customer service
Worst customer service I’ve ever had can’t ever get them on time to help me out with my cameras. It’s been over 6mo that I can’t link them to my app after going through all their steps.
Enable “rotate view” on iPad app please!
This is incredibly annoying while using an iPad, the phone app is great in this regard.
Worse than our previous app
Have to reselect live action every time you go into app. My previous app was always live!
App will not play back
Updated the app and now it shows no video. Have deleted and re-installed app several times with now change. Live view works but it is useless to have if it won’t play back. Motion detection for each camera is on.
