PLEASE FIX
After the most recent update my app no longer properly fetches data from Gluroo and doesn’t update as it used to! I have to close the app and reopen it for it to show my current BG data - this is not helpful at all!!!
App works good, would like more readable watch complications
The app itself works quite well. My only complaint is that the watch complications are far too small to read. For the smaller one I can see the color but it’s impossible to read the value. And for the larger complication, it would be great if thefe was an option to just see the latest value in a much larger font rather than the latest 3 readings in tiny writing that is too difficult to read.
Needs better integration with Apple Health
The only reason I’m using this app is to sync my FreeStyle Libre glucose readings into the Apple Health app. While it was working better earlier, it isn’t working so well now. For readings to sync, I have to be in the Glucose portion of Apple Health (AH). If I’m anywhere else, it doesn’t sync. If AH is closed it doesn’t sync. It did before. It gets its readings from Gluroo. I tried NightScout Pro with no success. When it does sync it only syncs the last 6 hours. Which means I constantly have to be opening and monitoring the AH app for glucose. The support option is confusing and requires a separate account.
Problem with alerts
Whenever I try to adjust the alert settings for a high blood sugar and low blood sugar no matter what I set it to it automatically defaults to 180 for a high and 80 low. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I still get the same results.
Please Let Us Scan Through Graph
I want to be able to see my specific reading at a certain time bu pressing my finger across the graph. Then this app would be impeccable.
Alarms never go off
I have tried everything to get the notifications to go off on my iPhone and nothing ever plays. I only get a simple instagram sounding chime for “missed readings”, no alerts. This is really frustrating as I have to wake up my relative during the night and I can’t hear a single alarm.
I think it needs update.
Guys, can you update the app? It’s not catching my blood sugar correctly from my sensor.
Complication issues
The complication with WatchOS 10 no longer appears to auto update. When clicking on the complication, the latest BG readings are shown, but on returning to the watch face, a stale reading is shown. This is a fairly critical issue for people with T1 diabetes. When using the complication as a gauge, no idea what the gauge represents when units set to mmol/L, certainly not a valid range. The stats page doesn’t show the correct number of background updates, almost all zeroes.
Apple watch
After installing the app on my apple watch, I only get the readings on my watch for about an hour and it quits working. I uninstall and reinstalled numerous times. I gave up! It does work on my phone ok.
Great app, presents data in a clear way
This is a great app. It presents the data on phone in a clear and quick-updating interface. If I had 2 wishes they would be: 1. A watch complication displaying the daily graph 2 consistent and configurable update intervals for watch complications and widgets…. Sometimes they update every few minutes and other times they go 25+ minutes.

Do not download my url has disappeared I can’t get it back doesn’t matter if I delete and download again now I can’t have my readings at all on my Apple Watch this is a Rubbish app that doesn’t work and the url just disappears

Alarms don’t work.
The alarms only work if the Nightguard screen is up. If you are doing anything else or don’t leave the screen active the alarms won’t push through. This is pretty basic. It’s an alarm. It needs to be active no matter what screen is up.
Reading stuck
Working well for 2 days on iPhone then reading won’t change, its showing reading -1200 min. Gluroo is working fine. Turned the phone on and off, uninstalled the app 3 times still showing the same reading. Can anyone help? Updated: Thank you for the response. I have waited 20+ hours until the countdown minutes reached 0 then my Apple Watch gave the same readings as Gluroo but on my iPhone the readings wouldn’t change, still counting +1, +2, +3, … minutes for a while (30+ minutes ) then everything seems to reset. Now everything matches and working great. Thank you. (FYI: Could the problem come from forwarding the time on my iPhone? I have forwarded it for 24 hours and then changed back to automatic for a few times to do something before this problem occurs)

Frustrating
At first it was great, however I’ve noticed random days do not log into Apple health app. There’s rhyme or reason because my phone is always connected to me sensor (due to placement and a few to my Libre 2 sensor) why is it randomly not displaying or reporting levels to Apple health?? Please fix this, it’s super frustrating when tracking sugars…
Can’t Figure out Missed Readings
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but Nightguard is only picking up about half of my Dexcom readings despite Nightscout and Dexcom both working continuously. Today so far with all apps open and active all day, only 76/150 readings shown. This doesn’t help me see my correct percentage in range for the day (one primary reason I prefer this to my DIY Loop screen). I wish I could figure out what the issue is.
Great app!
My only issue is that I can’t get a notification widget on my Lock Screen. :-(
Stopped working
Have used for several months. Would give 4/5 but have had stoppage issues several times. Have been able to correct, has not updated in over a week and can not correct it. Loved the convenience of using it with Gluroo to correct to the iWatch to have quick access to my reading.
Strong app
I really like this app. Overall it’s very complete works well with the watch. Only issue I have is to get it to sync with Apple Health I have to open the app otherwise it does not write its data to Apple Health. However great app
Apple Watch complications broken with latest update
The latest update to the software broke the complications shown on the Apple Watch OS 10. it shows that coming in, but does not display the glucose level on the complication on the watch face. This was working fine but it’s now broken.
Great...if it worked
Great app by itself and for a variety of devices. However, the watch companion app is useless as it enters into a crash-loop most of the time.
Finally works on Apple Watch Ultra
Shout out to the developer for fixing watch complications on Apple Watch Ultra. If you want glucose readings on you Apple Watch, this is your app!

I like the app
It does some nice visualization with the data that is very helpful. It was better when the watch app worked. It quit working for me with the last update. It was updated and the complication started working again. This is such a great app, thanks for all your hard work!
Great idea but….
Regardless of what I do I can’t get the screen to display the graph plot of my BG. It will only display my current BG at the top of the screen.
Not sharing all data with health app
The app failed to share data 6 hrs overnight. My numbers are in the nightgaurd but not in the health app.
Helped to integrate my Apple ecosystem
I used this to integrate my nearly all Apple household into the garbage Android only app for my son’s insulin pump. Helped to ease anxiety by having all his information on our phones and watches.

Alarms
Having trouble getting alarms to work. App will snooze alarms automatically. Sometimes it will alarm, but only when I open the app. I do have smart snooze off.
Snooze issue
Please be careful when setting a snooze. After snoozing for 30minutes few times, went to sleep and somehow the snooze function went to 24hr snooze automatically. I swear I did not touch the 24hr snooze option but it still selected that option when I suddenly woke up. Thank god the level did not go low. First I thought maybe I accidentally hit the 24hr during sleep but then it happened twice again and this time I captured the screenshot. I think there is a programming or coding error in the app where it automatically resets to 24hrs after few short snoozes. I use iPhone 6 with 12.1 iOS. I am using Nightguard app version 2.5.447 Let me know if you need more information and where I can submit it. Thanks
Do not see it natively on Apple watch series 3
Do not see Nightgaurd widget appear natively on Apple watch series 3, even after I installed it on my iphone pro 12. Is that by design or am I doing something wrong or this is not compatible with older apple watch models such as series 3?
Less than 24 hours after installation, watch app crashes when opened
***UPDATE*** This issue had nothing to do with the app. The cause turned out to be a non-standard implementation of Nightscout. Nightguard is fantastic when used with a proper Nightscout implementation. My apologies to the developer for forgetting about this review (until I received notification of the developer’s response). Rating changed to 5 stars. ***UPDATE*** Can’t get the watch app to work now. The complication displays this: ??:?? --- When tapping the complication, the app either doesn’t open at all, or opens briefly, tries to refresh the graph, then crashes. Power resetting the watch (multiple times) hasn’t helped. Meanwhile, the phone app is working fine. Apple Watch Series 8 WatchOS 9.3 (20S648)

Not sure why it won’t read the url but it says it’s in the wrong format when I copy and paste
Good app needs improvement
This would be a great app if they can fix that it quits working on the iwatch every few days. To fix it I have to delete and reinstall on my iwatch.
Brilliant if it worked in mmol/L
Great watch and phone app but despite Nightscout being FULLy set up in mmol/L this is the ONLY app that will not read in mmol/L. Sadly rendered useless unless this can be rectified. Preferences only enable nightscout (URL) login. No preferences can be put in by user. Please fix.
Needs update
The app seems to be very useful with the exception of the Stats graph which, on my iPhone 12, only displays one days data. Does not look like the App description above.
Must have for inpen
Thanks to this app, inpen always knows my blood sugar through the apple HealthKit. You did what dexcom failed to do. Currently I can’t include a token in my railway url so I can’t add carbs, but I can figure it out.

Overall works well but one very annoying problem...
Despite disabling the “missed readings” toggle in the alarms preferences, the Apple Watch app still constantly vibrates every few seconds to alert of missed readings (even if I’m not wearing the watch). I understand that I can snooze this (ie. at night when my nightscout setup is recharging) but it’d be nice if I didn’t have to manually snooze the watch app every night when in theory it shouldn’t be alerting me of anything at all...

Great app! I mainly use it for viewing my NS graph and IOB on my watch. Any chance support for OpenAPS predictions lines could be added to the graph on the watch? It'd be a big help for those of us using FreeAPS X as well as users following AAPS.
No longer any good (used to be great)
Used to be a good app. Recently moved over to nightscout pro for ease and now nothing works. The graphs dont show on the app or watch. I dont have any data to view in landscape mode. The watch app can no longer be shown in a large complication slot (WHY…. This was the best feature, having the last three values with trending arrows) and there doesnt appear to be a nightmode screen like the apps screenshots show you there is.
Great Nightscout App
Easy 5 star if we could please have the ability to set any threshold for high alarms, I can't use alarms since my limit is 280, and I avoid high alarms just because it's not worth waking up my family for. Great app, the alarms are a huge feature and it is truly a quality of life improvement.
Nice app but
This is a nice app but I can not fix the time. Showing 20:00 instead of 8PMi would love this to be on my new Apple Watch face when it comes but I can’t fix the time. Military time.
