Raised HG prices
I used to really enjoy this game a few years ago, but in a recent update, they drastically raised the HG prices which seems very greedy to me. I know this game is pretty old, but raising the prices after all these years feels like back stabbing old fans. It also sucks for new fans since they have to grind more in order to unlock the other routes which takes away from the enjoyment of the game. I’m not going to support this developer anymore because they clearly don’t care about their players now.

Love the playstyle, but practically impossible to complete
Please PLEASE make the stories cheaper. It was already hard enough to try and save up for the deep story, and now it’s more than double the hourglasses it was before. I love how the game operates on real time but it SUCKS to have to start over and spend more hourglasses more often to try and get the other stories. I just want to play the game and it gets very boring and annoying to have to do the same things over and over. Please make the story selections cheaper bc 590 for another story is ridiculous.

Perfectly written/made
The most fun game I’ve ever played and that’s why I’ve played for 10 years! All the characters are so well written and there is the perfect amount of content in the app that it feels like there’s always something to do without it being overwhelming or feeling like a chore. The real time aspect helps it to be a good break from reality also. 10/10 recommend!
Mass Banning Longtime Players
The game’s mass banning longtime players for having hourglasses accumulated despite not releasing new content to spend the hourglasses on, so it’s reasonable that over the span of nearly 10 years, hourglasses would accumulate. Disappointing

Won’t load
It won’t load. Not matter what I try, restarting the game, changing my WiFi, deleting it and redownloading. It refuses to load. The only time it opened was when I deleted the game, but it got rid of all my progress. Which is fine because I had no progress anyway, since the game WONT LOAD.
Crucial Error
Good, fun game usually, but now this app is claiming I changed my timezone and I need to go back to my “old” one… I did no such thing... I couldn’t even be bothered. I don’t even mess with that stuff in my settings. Is it talking about daylights savings, which happened a month or two ago…? It’s taking long time to load, too. I waited, I refreshed. All I did was offload the app bc I didn’t have any more storeage, then redownload it. Please fix this.

It’ll be almost 10 years since this game came out :’) (I really can’t believe it) but I fell in love with this game in 2016, and actually it was my first otome game where I liked all the LI’s lol (Yoosung best boy though 💚). I love the games humor, and the chatroom/messaging style of experiencing the story was so unique for its time (and I’m sure it inspired many other otome games lol) and I also just loved how “real” it felt and how the characters reacted to each other, felt like I was really in a group chat with friends. All the characters are likable in their own way and I really enjoyed playing every route. Not that I think the servers will shut down anytime soon, but games like that queens choice game shutting down make me scared that one day Mystic Messenger (and others) will shut down too. I sincerely hope if it ever comes to that the dev’s of Mystic Messenger will make an offline version of MM, and/or release “complete” offline versions on the PC/Consoles. Don’t ever want to lose access to this game 🙏🙏🙏
Banned for no reason
I’ve been playing for years, I love the game. But my account got banned for seemingly no reason and I know I’m not the only one. I’m so heartbroken because I bought all the dlc and additional content in the app as well as the phone cards and several hourglass purchases over the years. Even if I made an account all the work and money I put into my account would be gone.
One suggestion
I really love this game. Even though it’s in real time, it’s very creative in it’s characters and storylines. You actually feel like you are talking to the characters like they are real people and you get connected with them really quickly. The stories are very reflective and emotional. However, I need to make a suggestion. As a trans man, I find it very disheartening that you cannot choose the MC’s gender and that she HAS to be female, which shouldn’t be the case. A lot of people of varying sexualities and gender identities should be able to play this wonderful game without feeling uncomfortable and feeling like they can truly insert themselves into the story. And Jaehee’s route should be more romantic rather than it being a “friendship”. It’s a dating game, if there was an option for a female route, I expect it to be for romance. Thank you for making this game though, I just hope that it’s more LGBTQ+ inclusive soon!
It’s great unless you’re moving
Turns out I’ll have to start a new account and lose all my progress because I moved and it won’t let me access the game until I go back to the original time zone, which is not possible unless I move back across the country. If you have a big move coming up don’t even bother starting the game, otherwise it’s great.

I love this game and I’ve gone back to playing it for years, but a few weeks ago I got a new phone and when I open mystic messenger it’s very like zoomed in and I cannot see where the hourglass’s are and the hearts, this also means it’s hard for me to access the games settings, I don’t know if there is a fix to this but for context I have an iPhone 16 so maybe there just isn’t a version for my phone, but I don’t know what to do

If you miss a chat you can’t play until you buy the chat back.
I don’t have money to spend on hour glasses and you only get 30 to start the game, if you miss a chat (like if your asleep since the game makes chats happen all night while your asleep) you have to use 10 hourglasses to revive the 1 chat and you can’t enter any chats until you’ve bought and attended the missed ones. Which means in turn when you run out of hourglasses you can’t do anything else in the game anymore. It’s a terrible design:(

This company did nothing during 7 years after this game's release other satisfying some fans' personal kinks. They killed one game already to continue milk this game, and currently trying to take over their new game now with a rip off of this game. Making up a brother for one of this game's character when he said in this game he doesn't have any siblings, just to milk this game. Their "new LI" is a complete rip off of one of the most popular character of this game, he even have the same "ending" like that character here. Very lazy and disrepectful company.

don’t get me wrong i LOVE this game, i’ve been obsessed with it for over a year. but, it could do with some improvements especially as we move forward -PLEASE remove the line from zen about autism. i believe it is in one of the secret endings. he says he knew someone who has autism ‘when they were younger’ but went to therapy and was cured. this is NOT how it works. i’m autistic myself and i felt very upset and disheartened when i read this. we aren’t diseased, it isn’t an illness and it CAN’T be cured. we are just normal people like everyone else. it’s really not that hard to educate yourselves, devs. i advise you remove this line as a lot of your fan base is neurodivergent. -add pronoun options/choose what gender you can play as. i am a girl, so this doesn’t affect me because the game caters to girls. HOWEVER, a lot of people feel very excluded because you HAVE to play as a girl. a lot of mystic messenger players are trans, non binary etc. it wouldn’t change the game that much, it’d just make people feel more comfortable. -rika having just anxiety and depression wouldn’t make her act like that. she for sure has some deeper issues, like a psychotic disorder and delusions along with severe PTSD. still, this doesn’t excuse her actions but i feel like it would be better than just saying it’s because of depression because that’s factually incorrect. that’s all i can think of off the top of my head. i hope you take my tips into consideration.

I really loved this game but have had a lot of technical difficulties. One time after an update the entire app was in a different language and my file was gone! Which sucked because I had unlocked other story lines, when I emailed the developer It never got resolved. So after a while I deleted the app redownloaded it and started over again….I unlocked the second story again, which sucked having to start over. Then every time I went on it would crash, or boot me out and I couldn’t log in. So I left the app for a long time, to just try again the last couple days and it won’t even load in :/ the app is updated, my phone is brand new, I don’t understand what all the problems are :( and now I’m worried when I do log on my file will be completely gone again! But it won’t even load so I think it’s time for me to fill give up, it was a great app tho!

Intrusive pop up ad
A full screen ad pops up every time I open the game, and on iPads the X button isn’t visible so it’s basically a race against time to click something before the ad pops up and pray that it works. Someone has contacted you guys about this but you seemed to brush it off, and told them to “go play on a phone, because Mysmes isn’t made for iPads”??? I don’t think fixing this bug is even that hard, considering how a whole new update was made for it. This simple thing is causing people to miss chatrooms and content, and making the game less enjoyable overall. It seems like MM is being left in the dust now that The Ssum is out. I get that you need to focus on a lot of things for the new game, but please take a bit of time out to fix this, it’s pushing off the small amount of players who are still interested, and it’s not worth it for something as amazing as Mystic Messenger.
