Poor Quality
The last meal was a mixed grill, it had shrunk in size since my last visit. The single mushroom was tiny, sausage was tasteless, steak was tough and inedible. Whole meal was dry just not as good as it used to be. A real shame Harvester use to be good value and the mixed grill really good.
Good but could be better
Miss proper hot sweetcorn side and plates need to be hot to stop food getting cold
Reward card doesn’t work!
Frustrating trying to use the reward card. I scan it when we go to the Harvester but it never adds the reward to the wallet. The servers say it has been scanned but it doesn’t change. I have deleted the app and reloaded it, deleted my account and started another one but it makes no difference. Can’t add it afterwards either even with the receipt and proof it hasn’t gone on to the app. Is this a con?

Visiting today at your Rayleigh weir restaurant service was bad not coordinated brought up wrong food my grand son had salad bar and the carrots tasted of bleach chef got out a new batch and said they all taste like that chicken was undercooked and sent back saying it would be altered on the bill great except when the bill arrived it was more and another item had been added .ask to speak to the manager who was busy .After standing by the wet bar he arrived no apology just said he had alter it he had no conversation and we all felt let down by the food and your manager as a family we eat at your restaurant quite often please take these concerns seriously and try to improve your over all dining experience robinfirst

So slow
We go regularly to the local Harvester, The Winston Churchill. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Today wasn’t great. The manager chatted to us and all seemed fine. Then he disappeared and the three young waitresses spent most of their time, together at the till, nattering. It took an age to order anything. Service, even from the kitchen, was slow. In the end I had to go to them to ask for our bill. Very disappointing. Food was ok mostly but my 7oz gammon was rather dry.

An hour wait to order, burnt food and dry chips! Also the skewer was so hot that took the layer of skin off my sister’s fingers

Every time I try and use it, it never loads and I wanted the voucher for kids eat for £1. Found it online but still would be better to Use the app.
My opinion on our harvesters
Regular visit with family warm welcome staff are very helpful and friendly meals are good mostly only complaints are you need to change the menus gets very repetitive sandyback 15
Good wasn’t what it used to be
We ordered two set meals they bought out the wrong starter for me and the main meal the jacket potato was cremated and the burger over done and was hard to chew we didn’t want to complain at the time that was Wednesday 24th June but we both said we wouldn’t be going back as it had gone downhill. We were also told they were fully booked and had to eat in the bar area but we could wait an hour for a table in the restaurant but we left at about 9.30 and the tables in the restaurant were still empty.

Constant errors
Login kicks you out immediately going back to log in screen singly can’t access anything. Do you want customers to use it or not?! This has caused me to choose a different restaurant (not Harvester) three times now as the app is necessary to access things needed for our visit. Fix it or lose customers 🤷🏻♂️
Mo mo mo
Mo is always super friendly very professional and makes us all feel welcome. What an asset to the Harvester! Food was excellent this evening. We shared lots of starters and the salad bar with drinks. Thanks Mo! Tipped as usual!
