Relaid problem
I’ve had the app for 2 years and it’s been great. Just lately the app kept reloading but after asking the technical support team they helped to solve the issue. Many thanks guys 🙂
Blank screen
Have used this app for a long time but it had started to get glitchy and not work. Just deleted it and reinstalled and it goes the the greeting pages and then……nothing. Blank screen. Have re-installed twice and the same issue. Disappointing. Should have left it alone I think.
Very handy app
The app is very handy but despite having a licence every time I go into the app it asks me to renew the licence! That is the only irritating thing about it otherwise it would be 5*
Had difficulties
Despite having an annual membership the app doesn’t recognise me when I open it asking each time whether I would like to pay….I have paid! The app only becomes usable after I go through the log-in process twice and ignore the requests to pay. Eventually it works. It’s OK, but I can probably live without it and use other apps like Park4Night which are seamless and simpler to get at.
Can’t download it to my iPad
No instructions on how down load and get all the symbols showing on the maps
Service
When my subscription didn’t renew I sent a message to CamperStop. I was very impressed by the speed and politeness of the response. My problem was quickly resolved and they even checked that everything was working for me. You don’t often get service like that today.
Hopeless!
I paid for this app prior to a campervan holiday in France. When using it, the deficiencies came rapidly to light when it did not list several campsites that I used and found in alternative free sites. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere!

Very good all round. Easy to use on phone or I-pad. One criticism, the major towns need to be much clearly marked.
Keeps trying to new when already paid
Very annoying. Keeps asking to renew your subscription even though you have already paid it! A bit of a scam. Very difficult to use, prefer park4night night. A very difficult app to use, very annoying at times. Search for Sites and Park 4 Night much more user friendly and easier to use.
Great app BUT
Great app in theory but every time I leave it when I go back it asks me to renew then restore ( several times ) if it worked it would be great. The book is marvellous would have brought it if I had known I wa going to have this much trouble
Very helpful
To begin with the map wasn’t working as it should but after an email the response was very quick and the app was working again within two days. I am sure we will find the app very helpful.
Not working.
I’m travelling through Europe and the app won’t bring up the map view allowing me to choose a site. I emailed the developer who accepted there was an issue they were trying to resolve. Bottom line is I had to buy another App (searchforsites) to continue to travel as I was stranded without a guide.

Works very well and great communication when my subscription didn’t go through.
Waste of money
Never received an activation code and all emails ignored, another £6 down the drain. Apps like these are a scam to get your £5.99 in the hope you won’t make a fuss but reported to apple
Camperstop - useful app
Bought the app after buying the book a couple of years back. The app is great for planning my tour and I feel it will prove to be invaluable when on the road around Europe.
Tiresome login
I find the app useful but it keeps logging me out so I have to login every time I use it - advised by support to reinstall which I did but to no avail. Not a deal breaker but so annoying, even worse when on the road.

Rubbish!
If you don’t know the name of the region you are going to, you can’t find anything! You can’t just search by a village name. It’s not worth the money, I certainly won’t bother again.
Excellent App
This is the “go to” app for us when in Europe. Accurate and up to date. If you get an issue with the app, just email and it’s sorted very quickly and amicably. Wholly recommended
Seems ok but...
There are lots and lots of stops not shown on here. Also I assumed that once I paid I would lose all the very annoying ads but, no, they are still there.
Brilliant Very Informative
I love this app been using it for a few years now. (Even through the pandemic) let’s you plan ahead. Combine it with Google earth and town/city/ village websites and you got the full picture. The only down fall to the app is it has no accessibility information, and I wish it would allow users to recommend places of interest surrounding the sites. So much to see so many places to go. Saying that still worth the money.

Have installed this app, signed in, restored my purchase, but it simply does not function.
Good app - trouble with login resolved by developer
Purchased the book and activated the app - but it didn’t allow access despite trying to log in multiple times and reinstalling app. Developer has now resolved this issue and I am now able to use the app OK.
Invaluable motorhoming app
Have been using this app for the last three years. We have travelled extensively throughout Europe and find it very reassuring to be able to go to the app and find places to stop. It is nice to know what facilities are available in advance. Their customer support is also very good. Quick to respond and fix a minor problem I had with my account
DON’T BOTHER. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY!
I paid for this App and have been unable to use it. Nothing works, it keeps telling me to update then when I go to update it tells me to open App. Nothing happens, An utter waste of money and time. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
Brilliant customer service!
I’ve used this app for some years but recently it kept telling me I hadn’t paid for renewal when I had. I contacted the staff at the app and they couldn’t have been more helpful, giving me clear and concise steps to take and what info to send if that didn’t work. I sent them the info and they sorted it out completely and have been really supportive. Well done, guys and gals !!

Useful and accurate
I have used this app in the UK and Spain to good effect. The information about the camperstops is accurate and updated as far as I have experienced and the app itself is very easy to use. The back-up manual is useful in areas of low connectivity. If you have problems with your licence, in the first instance click on the management button and follow the stages appropriate to you. If you still have no luck, then email the team and they will reply within a couple of days.
Dreadful app
Can honestly say this is the biggest load of garbage I’ve ever purchased it never works ive so far found one camp site, not even one star

Thank you so much for your help in getting my app to work correctly. We have been using Camperstop book for many years and find it invaluable. We first heard of you through vicarious books. We then decided to try the app and initially didn’t find it as good as the book. But with perservance and your help We are getting there! We really like Camperstop as usually there stopovers are quieter and not too many other Motorhomes are using them. They are usually lovely places and the explanations are clear and concise. We are naughty in the fact, we tend to keep the locations to ourselves to ovoid hordes of other Motorhomes turning up at the same time. Keep up the good work. Christine Ansell
Impossible to search for sites
If you want to find sites in, for example, Lille in France. You cannot just enter Lille as you can in other apps. You have to specify the country i.e France then scroll through towns of which Lille is not one of them. Useless to me.
