Na een foto weergave probleempje zeer deskundig geholpen door het acsi team. Alles werk weer perfect, blij mee.
Difficult to work with
I’ve bought a membership some time ago, now find they need more money for the discount card which I’ve paid. Now I can’t find out how yo download the card. Great system, great idea let down by a poor app that is difficult to navigate.
It’s confusing
I thought I was tech savvy until I tried to log into this app - note it’s also associated with their camping card app.
Suchfunktion so gut wie nicht vorhanden
Die App ist nicht repräsentativ. Es ist nicht möglich, Campingplätze zu suchen, weil jedes Mal nach dem Hochladen eines Landes gefragt wird. Manchmal klappt es mit der CC-App. Für mich ist die App nicht nutzbar. Ich bewerte die App als schlecht und nicht akzeptabel.
Preise
Leider erscheinen in der App die Nebensaison-Preise nicht . Nur im Buch werden sie angegeben. Und unser Buch ist leider veraltet. Auch werden CP aufgeführt, die gar kein ACSI anbieten.

I give up on this app
Tried to link my asci account and each time it kept asking for me to set up a subscription. As God is my witness, I just can’t get the app to acknowledge that I already have subscriptions. Life is too short!
Digitale uitgave van de gids
Je herkent 1:1 de stijl en informatie terug uit de papieren gids. Dat is prima. De app is goed handelbaar. Als ik toch een kritische noot moet plaatsen dan vond ik de opstarttijd van de app wat aan de lange kant.
Google Maps is just better
Tried to use this but always end up on google maps. The reviews are equally spurious but the data on maps is more complete… the UX / UI here is very dated
OK but needed other apps for full picture
On a recent month long trip through Western Europe I used it as the ‘go to’ App as a starting point finding out next stops. Soon realised that to get a full picture we needed google for maps and general descriptions of places to stay and the roads that lead to them. Notable downside lacking in reviews for aires and couldn’t figure out how to add one.
FREE motorhome tours
For years now, We have toured for weeks at a time in the motorhome using the ACSI app about lunch time to search out up to three aires to stay the night. Away from the coast one can find free Aires including free water/ service point if you look closely. From South West UK to Portugal and back, some four thousand miles over five weeks and nothing paid for stopovers or service points. The App gives you all the information you need. Leave not a trace and enjoy.
Illegal subscription trap
THIS COMPANY PRACTICE SHOULD BE NAMED AND SHAMED The company takes your money unless you email them in the preceding year explicitly stating not to renew. You will receive no notification prior to the money being taken and they will not refund you once they take your money. Zorgeloos kamperen
De ACSI app is een duidelijke app. Het komt maar weinig voor dat de informatie niet klopt met wat je er voor krijgt. Info aan de camping vragen via de app verloopt vlot en soepel.
Should be much better than it is!
This app and the ACSI Camping Card app both have the same issues. The main one being if you navigate by using the map, find a site and click on it the info is there, but if you try to search it’ll tell you that there is nothing available. It says there are updates to the country package, despite the required ones already being downloaded. Paying extra for this app for the 3 months we’re travelling in Spain and Portugal seemed like a good idea on top of the CC subscription, but Search for Sites works better. Come on ACSI please get this sorted. Maybe get some users to do real time user testing and make these apps work as they should.
Geht so….
Es gibt viele Apps die besser sind. Es dauert ewig, bis sich die App öffnet und die Suchfunktion ist nicht gut. Außerdem stimmen die meisten Preise nicht.

Heel fijn en snel in gebruik, veel informatie en foto’s beschikbaar. Kan niet meer zonder!

Das letzte Update
Seit dem letzten Update komme ich nicht mehr in meinen Account. Passwort zurücksetzen, neu starten… alles probiert. Habe gerade mein Jahresabo verlängert. Das erkennt die App jetzt nicht mehr an und möchte, das ich nochmal ein Abo abschließe. Bitte den Fehler dringend beheben! Dann gibt es auch mehr Sterne!

Prima en duidelijke App
Gebruik nu een aantal jaren de App’s van de ACSI. Duidelijke informatie en aanbevelingen in beide App’s. Een aanrader voor degenen die goede informatie willen over hun parkeerplek.
Terrible customer service and incorrect pricing
Pricing shown is incorrect and users have no way of informing acsi of any indiscrepancy between the pricing shown and the actual pricing. The call centre staff are unhelpful and ill informed.
Good but could be improved
It would be helpful if foreign language reviews were automatically translated to your native language. Also, maybe a reminder for users to leave reviews as lots of the most recent reviews are a year or more old Also, a what3words reference for each site would be helpful for pinpointing locations.

Super App
Die App ist wirklich toll geworden. Sie hat eigentlich nur ein Manko. Die Suchfunktion soll mal überdacht und vielleicht verbessert werden, da sie wirklich etwas sehr umständlich ist.
Gone downhill
I have been using this app for years, but within the last year it has become uneasy to use. Campsites no longer had photographs and very limited details - meaning I have to spend ages googling sites alongside the app. It also doesn’t pinpoint searched locations very well. I will not be renewing next year unless it is fixed and will use Pitchup (or similar) instead. Update: logged out and back in - photos still aren’t working.
Übersichtliche App
…die App ist eigentlich sehr übersichtlich aber bei vielen Campingplätzen fehlen wichtige Fotos (manchmal nur eins hinterlegt) und der Text dazu ist auch fast immer gleich. Auch viel Email Adressen sind nicht hinterlegt. Natürlich wäre es genial- besser buchen zu können. Oft ist kein Buchungslink aktiviert und man sieht nicht - welche CP wie belegt sind, was aber sicherlich an den Betreibern der Plätze liegt. Für eine Übersicht ist die App spitze.👍
Rubbish
This is one of the worst apps I have come across for camping. It is clunky and not intuitive. Hard copy is far easier to navigate and less stressful. Needs a complete rethink.
Wertvoll für Camper
Ich nutze die App seit 3 Jahren auf iPad und iPhone. Grundsätzlich funktioniert die App, allerdings kommt es immer wieder mal zu Abstürzen. Dann friert die App ein, es geht keine Suchfunktion oder es werden keine Standorte angezeigt. Man könnte vermuten dass wenig Augenmerk auf Fehlerfreiheit gesetzt wird.

Gute App mit Potential
Erstmal finde ich fast alles an der App gut. Preis (auch wenn das Preismodell mit nur App und/oder zusätzlich Karte, verschiedene Laufzeiten im Abo erstmal undurchsichtig ist), Offlinekarten, Suche. Ich nutze die App gerne und finde mich gut zurecht. Jetzt zum Potenzial: - FKK Plätze differenzieren nach reine FKK, oder nur teilweise oder nur FKK Strand mit Textilplatz. V.a. In Deutschland gibt es häufig nur den Strand, der Platz ist aber als FKK geführt. -Kartenupdates es fehlt mir der Button um alles auf einmal zu laden.
Frustrated user
This should be a really useful app but unfortunately you are mainly left with a sense of frustration. Firstly every time I open it and zoom to the location you are interested in you have to do this 3 or 4 times before it stops resetting the map. Secondly it seems that the information held for the majority of sites (at least in Spain when I’m travelling at the moment) does not include a website or booking links so to find out more you have to go back to your web explorer and search for the site. You can’t even copy the name of the campsite easily so even more a pain. This app could/should be so much better but unfortunately at the moment it’s not.
Confusing
My confusion is backed up by others on FB. I have this App and as far as I can tell have signed up for all the fees, but it only shows 95 sites in Northern Italy. I have the CC App that shows campsites and I have the digital card. I simply can’t work out what this App does.
Gute und hilfreiche App
Bin voll zufrieden damit. Benutze die App erst seit kurzem, habe aber schon einige Campingplätze über die App anfahren können. Die Beschreibung der Plätze stimmte im großen und ganzen fast immer. Kann nur weiterempfehlen.
No discount at campsites
Many if not most campsites mentioned at Acsi are no longer discount prices. In my view those campsites SHOULD NOT BE mentioned at Acsi !
Fotos
Fotos sagen mehr als tausend Worte. Die Fotos sind vielfach Pool betreffend, teilweise unnötig mehrfach, Personen sind groß abgebildet pp. es wird zu wenig der Campingplatz an sich dargestellt ( verschiedene Parzellen, Waschhäuser, Entsorgung pp.) Wenn Personen groß abgebildet sind wenn sie Eis essen kann es sich nur um Eiswerbung handeln 😁
It was good
Keeps on crashing every time I do a search by date. Why try to mend something that wasn’t bust? It is now!
Leider gibt es sehr viele Stellplätze gar nicht mehr
Wir sind zur Zeit mit der App in Frankreich unterwegs und mussten feststellen, dass circa die Hälfte der Stellplätze, die in der App angezeigt werden und von uns angefahren wurden, mittlerweile ganz normale Auto Parkplätze sind und gar nicht mehr existieren. sehr schade, denn an manchen Abenden sind wir dann 2-3 Stunden herumgeirrt.
ACSI review
We use ACSI all the time and have stayed on sites supporting ACSI all over Europe. Two years ago we visited nine countries in one trip and only used ACSI supported sites. They were all excellent without exception. We always recommend membership to our friends. I have renewed for 2021.
Pointless
Firstly I am at a loss to see why I have paid for the card and the books and then have to pay extra for the app - but of a rip off. Next the app is clunky and slow and, if you ever click on a ‘show availability’ tab you just get a blank white screen. The info does not tell me what the price will be in a particular season with an ACSI and also doesn’t tell me which sites give a discount for it so, again, pretty pointless and the prices shown rarely match what the sites charge when you arrive so I won’t be renewing the 3 month subscription I took out on this. You are far better off using Search for Sites or Park4night.

Does not cater for first timers or infrequent travellers
Given the number of negative reviews it is surprising this app does not have a facility for potential users to view details of sites on offer. Also as someone who is only likely to travel once or twice a year I feel it is short sited to make subscriptions renew automatically; it would be better to allow users the option to set up repeat subscription once they are members and have judged the usefulness.5
Update:
Since my original post I have have moved to Switzerland where I have been able to log back into my account and recover all the previously downloaded data. Why this wouldn’t work on a French campsite with reasonable wifi I don’t know. The App is now working as advertised. I have increased the stars to 3, but I am not convinced there is much to gain having the app over having the books and card. The books and card are easy to use. I have used the email request form in the App a couple of times which has worked.
Very useful
Used it recently for two weeks in France and found it excellent. Read the reviews of sites and booked accordingly not one bad site all excellent and with discount using the card. Thoroughly recommend
Keeps crashing
The app can only be downloaded from the App Store but not used subsequently. As soon as one country file is downloaded, the app will not reopen again. I have tried to save offline maps, deleting and reinstalling, turning phone on and off but nothing works.
Teils … Teils
Der Entwickler der App hat sich zügig gemeldet. Dafür meinen Dank! Der Support von Acsi brauchte viele Tage. Es wäre großartig gewesen, wenn die Hilfestellung früher eingetroffen wäre. Wie auch immer, nun funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Der Fehler lag bei mir.
Confusing
This app is confusing to use. There seems to be lots of good sites but searching is difficult. Am sticking to Pitchup for now.
Confusing information for ordering
I thought I had ordered membership/on line maps/ID card but it appears no membership - so no discount card! I have books from previous years and because they are heavy opted for the Ap to search for sites. So, I have the Ap working and the ID card but NO MEMBERSHIP CARD. BUYER BEWARE.
