Just one audio bug
The bar graph for checking the audio level seemed to stop working just after the latest iOS update. I’m not completely sure but this is not the first time that things have gone haywire with audio after an iOS update.

Love it but the audio level bar stopped working. Fix and it goes back to 5 stars
Writing a review because it doesn’t seem there’s a way to get direct support. I love everything about this app. However, after a recent iOS update, the audio bar at the top that lets you know your audio source is working has stopped working. The only way to know that it’s picking up your audio is to stop the video and do a test. Then trust that it’s working still while you’re recording your content.

I generally love this love, but since I got the new 17 air my microphone will not work on the phone or the Bluetooth that i had before.
Great for 2 years, now audio level problem
Love the options that go far beyond the iOS camera app controls. But for weeks the audio level meter has been broken. I lost video because of it thinking I had an audio problem. As others have stated, the audio is recording but you have no idea if it’s too quiet or too loud. Fortunately I record from the same set up week to week so as long as no one messes with the input levels things are fine.
Still has no screen mirroring and overheating your phone
I’m tired of this app and moving forward to another one since they don’t solve their problems…

Audio meter
PLEASE fix the VU meter in this version! It is broken on latest iOS and iPhone 17 Pro Max. I am unable to tell whether or not audio is working and it has forced me to re-shoot several clips!

This was great except for the fact that you can’t pause and unpause to switch scenes but otherwise it’s a great camera app
Could have been better
So I was looking for an app that records better for my YouTube channel because the app my phone came with wasn’t gunna cut it, So I get this one. The second I open it I’m amazed by the quality. There are so many things I can play around with! But then I look at one of my recordings and notice a little black box in the corner advertising their app and to get rid of it I have to pay 3 dollars?! That’s a rip off! There are no additional things that come with the purchase either. Just a cash grab. 2 stars

I deleted app and re-loaded to try to fix a glitch. Made me pay $2.99 to ‘remove watermark’. When I tried to ‘restore’ it said there was ‘no previous purchase’. BS. I paid for the app now they extort $2.99
I love you ….BUT!!!!!
My old review since 2017 was “You guys are Flawless”. I love you, BUT!!! Since iOS 26.4 the sound meter on the app does not show sound. In fact is this message “Audio Input Volume Low (-120db)”. Sound is still recorded, it just doesn’t display on the screen. This is happening in my iPhone and iPad. Old review below: This app never fails me. Need using it forever and works flawlessly with my Razer Mini Seiren Mic.
Error message
My phone had 30 gigabytes of free space, which means I can record for almost 2 hours. But when I was recording, the app displayed an error message saying that there was no space left and stopped recording. Of course, I didn't notice this and continued what I was doing. When I finished, I discovered that the app wasn't working and my entire recording hadn't been saved. It's impossible to redo this shoot because it's a video about food. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm very disappointed with this app.

Excellent App Save For Two issues
I love this app, except that it will not access the 0.5 lens on my IPhone 13 ProMax, making framing difficult. And I prefer the native Camera app’s arc zoom control to this one’s vertical version. The rest is top notch.

Ends Video Early
I’ve used this app a few times and liked the control it supplies, but I’ve noticed that on the level 2 stabilization, it pauses a video a second before it ends. So the audio continues, but the video itself freezes for a second before the end. This was not only annoying, but also ruined a lot of good takes while I was filming with my friends. Also, when you click the button to watch what your recorded, it just takes you to the camera app, not to the actual last video you recorded—which is extremely annoying. Please fix both these issues. I would look for a new app if I hadn’t already paid for this.

Good for small budget movies and content
Great except can’t choose iPhone Microphone back
Amazing more advanced app except can’t choose the back microphone, which on an iPhone 11 has Stereo audio. The app is only recording in Mono however, but the normal camera app does record in Stereo? Used a different camera recording app and works fine in Stereo but unfortunately it seems to be a bug with this app?

This is an incredible app. I can’t believe they have it out to the public.
What happened??
Randomly thought about this app and decided to download it again. It’s been years and a couple of phones since I used it so I was excited to restore my purchase and try it out on this newer iPhone. I’m so disappointed! Not only does this app not live up to my memory of it, it’s now somehow worse than the native iPhone camera! Exposure lock is just not working anymore. I’d rather my exposure be blown out like with a real camera than have a sudden adjustment be made out of nowhere when a bright light comes into frame! That’s almost entirely what made me buy this in the first place years ago. The focus feature has a scale but this does not change your video’s depth of field. Instead, it adjusts *what* is in focus (even if you have already locked a subject in focus!) What’s the point of locking if the app doesn’t respect the lock? Even stranger, after saving your video, it has a lower, more pixelated quality with LOTS of banding in dark conditions. This does not happen in the native camera app so I don’t know why it would ever happen with a paid one. I’ll play with the settings and update this if anything changes but I don’t think this is a settings problem. All I know is that next time I have something important to film, I won’t be reaching to open this app, and that’s sad because I really loved it years ago. It was simple and reliable. What happened? Why is it worse now than it was on my iPhone 7?
HDR video capability
Even though I love the app, I’d like to have HDR video capability to be added to compatible devices. In this day and age, HDR is a must-have feature. Without it, I think ProMovie loses the edge to other recorders.
Please look into the issue
The remove water bark purchased has been done twice and still the process is not done , Please refund the money as deducted twice and no watermarks have been removed

Shutter Speed
Shutter speed keeps defaulting to 40 when in auto mode. When shutter speed set manually then no auto iso available.

Good App but not Audio meters
This is a well made app. But the Audio meters are on top horizontally on the screen, and not visible properly. Please place the audio meters vertically, preferably on the left side of the screen and let that be a bit thicker and not dotted.

everything works, could do with layout variation for pros, my major gripe is I cant simply just transfer files by drag drop. instead I need to use stupid iTunes spyware every-time to do that. 😒😎
