What people like
- Cleaner interface than the official app
- Great grid view for browsing posts
- Helps block annoying ads cheaply
- Feels faster and less distracting
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Keeps crashing when you open it
- Video downloads often fail or break
- Subscription costs feel too high
Should Be The Primary App
I don’t even write reviews but this app really is that serious, this is the only way Tumblr should be experienced
what’s the point of
ugly and you have to pay to use multiple accounts don’t even know why there is a free version it worthless
load faster pls
it only sometimes loadsssss properly but besides for that this app is useful like it’s so annoying when it doesn’t load and i’m 90% sure it can’t just be my wifi cuz my wifi works for every other app but when the pics are loading it just shows black specially when you scroll far
Deceiving
They don’t tell you up front before downloading this app that you won’t be able to use any of the key features of this app without paying a monthly subscription. For example you won’t be able to download a single video before buying a subscription.
ads now??
paid supporter for several years now but today getting ads? of course right after my annual subscription renewed! update: not sure why it keeps forcing me to restore purchase. never uninstalled. so far seems to get rid of ads again hope no more ads pop up because this is the only tumblr app i use.
Good app for browsing Tumblr
Nice app, but recently it crashes whenever I try to open it. Could you address this please?
Purchase no longer honored…
The original FastFeed for tumblr crashes when you try to login on iOS 17, so this app no longer recognizes your previous purchase.
Good once you get logged in
If you use 3rd party oauth to login, you must not have the official tumblr app installed, or it will hijack your login attempts. Once that is taken care of, it’s a nice app that seems better than the official one.
Pay for dark mode? Seriously?
Literally unusable without dark mode. Get over yourselves.
Some fixes needed
Really good app, it just needs to be able to view archives (that would be the cherry on top) and it would also be nice if the app didnt slow down on showing some posts when you scroll down. Usually have to force close and open again. Must be a bug. Other than that, solid app.
No version for Android
Please please make a version for android. I switch between iPhones and android phones every few years and for some reason android still does not have an app. I am surprised iPhone does.
I can handle ads but…
Full page pop up ad no thanks!
Not the prettiest but very good
I don't use this as my primary way of viewing Tumblr, but it's indispensible for my use of the service. It has two things that Tumblr for some reason hasn't implemented: a grid view for everything (not just tags and some users) and an equivalent of Twitter lists ("FeedSets").
Too restricted
I really dislike your restricted content! Why not show two naked women together in all their glory? If we are offended we just won't look and it's not too tough to go to another site!
Hey I need help
To the devs if you’re reading this; It won’t let me log in to my tumblr. Every time I try it always gives me the error code “1010, unauthorized” I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if I need to delete the app and re-download it, please help!
superior in every respect to the official app
the only thing i’d ask for is the ability to import filtered words and tags
Great, but sharing to Drive seems to be broken
It seems that the last update broke sharing to drive, I tried to contact the dev but couldn’t find how!
Gap in liked posts
My likes seem to have a huge gap sometimes. Months or years please fix overall everything else’s great.
error
exit without error message
„in app notice“
Uses popups to advertise other apps from the developers. Feels strange… I don‘t like to be interrupted by such things 🫤
Love the interface
I actually go on Tumblr much more often now. I didn’t realize of much of its OG interface gave me the ick until now.
App unusable, greedy dev
Hiding crucial and simple features like dark mode behind a paywall just screams of greed. Immediately uninstalled.
Liked posts
Don’t show all liked posts. Please update to do so.
Sort of great
I really enjoy the dashboard in being able to see so many blog posts at once and the ability to adjust that layout. This is one of the few browsing apps I pay for, but I'm baffled why some blogs and tags are returned as "404" when they can be viewed in when I am logged into normal Tumblr. Is there a "prudishness" setting I have yet to find?
Best App Complete !!!
found this app for use tumblr in a best way i can tell its the best so far love it guys continue to update it 💯
Limited ability to go back in time
It has some sort of algorithm that takes you back in spruts. Some times far back like hundreds of photos, some times only 200. Don’t know how to reset this. Any way to get into an archive ... I have 15000 likes.
Why are you taking my clipboard dada?
Huge fan of the app, but why are you comping my clipboard data every time I open the app. Seems shady.
Really really terrific
This is an app that is built with care. Fantastic feature set and the developers are sweating all the details. huge fan
Problems
I liked this app because it let me do a slide show of Tumblr pics. But now the app only displays 30 of my 40 favorited pics and stops at 30 in the slideshow. And then the next day it will show them all. And then it will be back to only showing 2/3 of my favorites!
Premium Feature Missing
Hello, in update to my last review: the in app support link throws an error that says ‘Mail services are not available.’ - I have a recording of the video download option not working with premium purchased. Where can I send it since I can’t send a mail in app?

Using in 2024 and it’s still good
Often times I’d use the vanilla tumblr app and get tired of the features they’d tack on. The temptation of the fyp. No one wanted that. Now the ads are obtrusive again. Thankfully multitab will do Adblock at a super cheap rate and give me a very good and normal scrolling experience!
What happened?
Had paid for premium features , update now requires a subscription with fewer features, I.e., video download no longer supported!
Permanent
I need permanent subscription
TIme-Saver
I have been a user of MultiTab for Tumblr on my phone for a long time. It has save me lots of time and head-ache. Using the app with my M1 mac is pure joy. Keep up the great work, thanks for your apps!
Almost perfect tumblr app
After the most recent update it just crashes constantly, it wont even open :(
Unless I missed something, doesn’t really support private messages
Edit: I updated my review because it works fine except for the messaging part. It’s not their fault if Tumblr doesn’t provide access to it. I tried it with two different accounts and it only had one or two old messages. I need an app that allows for messaging the people that I follow and who follows me. That’s one of the best parts of Tumblr in my opinion
Just Add A For You Tab And It’s Perfect
This is the only true way for me to use Tumblr now. All it needs is a for you tab and it will be the best app ever.
Useless now
Can not open it without it crashing. Was working fine one day, now it’s unusable. Tried closing it, uninstalling it, doesn’t work
刷图利器
感觉用了此版本，就再没用过原版，操作顺手展示合理。可惜是没找到自动截图的功能，和删除不想看的图片功能。
