What people like
- Helps spot filler words like um.
- Great for building speaking confidence.
- Cheaper than hiring a real coach.
What they complain about
- Charges you even after canceling.
- AI feedback takes too long.
- Drains battery and freezes often.
Manage your Nerves
Excellent, Explore on your big day and you will surprise with the results - I have tested it while speaking in high stake interview.
Very disappointing application.
Probably the worst app on the store to date. Optimizations is trash it will drain your battery in no time. Lag and freeze all the time (on iphone 16pro) don’t waste your money there.
I took the paid version of this app and it’s helping me a lot
I really like the way it is structured and lessons. One thing that can be improved is the AI feedback, ai feedback on a recorded voice is really slow. Sometimes I have to try multiple times, it would be really helpful if it faster or can give an estimate on the time it will take to summarise the voice.
Starts well but becomes really vague
The first few lesson are interesting and helpful but slowly they become dumb and annoying. Not worth the money in my opinion, can’t say that I feel much improvement in my skill or confidence of public speaking. Has a potential but they need to put some more effort in making it something worth paying for.
Needs Improvements
Improvements: Needs to have an option to import existing video and audio files to analyze.
Picks up filler words!
Useful picking up my filler words (e.g., um, uh). Recently also tried the transcription option in another language (French), and that works well too to record and transcribe the topics.
Mind the end of trial period
This is not much about the content of the application, but more about their charging and refunding policy. I downloaded Speeko by trusting end of trial reminder which I believed was promised during the subscription.. As soon as they charged me for the whole year subscription of £90, I asked for the cancellation and refund through Apple , explaining I had no time to try or use the application at the exact hour of their charging. However, my refund request was rejected with the explanation that it’s not within the policy. I believe no one should charge anyone who has not received their services and I don’t believe an application with this policy will survive long.
Amazing app! But… there's not much in the free version
I love this app but I feel like I don't have any proper feedback or lessons for free…
Year end feedback
Test
Good start
Need to add a way to upload existing videos to analyze
Crooks!!
I tried the "Free Trial" and canceled the first day because it was not what I was looking for. Then they charge me for a month anyway!!!
👍
App is good and very easy to use but for me it makes me feel very self conscious and I d don’t talk well I am only hoping to work on my vocabulary before I try public speaking hoping a good vocabulary would give me confidence. I would love it if you have a category for self consciousness as a lot of people suffer from it. Thanks though for your beautiful app. 👍
Speedo
I like the app but it won’t let me sign in... Stupid app!! But it is very good and I thought it would be better if u didn’t have to pay to see your progress
Great platform to work on your voice
With lots of meetings online Speeko has been helping me a lot keeping my voice authentic and engaging
Rubbish
Didn’t even let me get started without subscribing lol
AID IN YOUR POCKET
Nice app, very useful, next best thing (and much cheaper) to having personal tutition. Daily exercises are really useful
So smart
I wish I knew it earlier!
Charged for a ‘free trial’
I signed up for a free trial of this app, and was charged for a full year—more than $100. I’m too angry to even use the app, to find out whether or not I like it.
Video recording incorporation
Having video recording will help in improving body language.
Excellent
I have been using Speeko recently and, I confess I should use it more often. It is a superb program, which will help you become a better speaker. I recommend this highly
Do Not Buy !!!!!
I requested a refund and got rejected. I did not intended to subscribe for the annual subscription (75 CAD). I canceled within 3 days and was rejected. This app does not improve public speaking, I found YouTube to be more effective. Do not go through the headache, just avoid this. Save your money!!!!
My own mentor and voice coach
As a returning member of Toastmasters, I feel that Speeko is helping me in areas that my club doesn’t address- breath control, articulation and intonation. I very much enjoy the whole process that I am experiencing with Speeko, without the embarrassment of having a real person criticizing me for my monotonous voice. Well worth the annual cost if used daily.
Too basic
Too basic for me. Too much basic concepts and lessons when what I really need is the voice analysis
Must have to improve your speaking skills
I was sceptic earlier to pay for the full version, but thank god I did it! Don't take this app for improving ONLY your public speaking in front of large crowds. This app has helped me hone my normal speaking skills, be it talking privately to someone, a small group, or a large audience. The techniques given inside coupled with the fabulous AI coach has certainly pumped up my confidence to go and approach ANY situation! If you think you can improve your speaking skills in any way, and are doubtful of going for the paid version, do it. It will one of the best investments for your personal growth journey!
Easy to use, very helpful!
Have been using it for a week and I love "Practice iwith ekotions" very much! Can't wait to access for lessons on this app!!
Fantastic
Very useful app for all those who want to learn public speaking skill from scratch. It has good exercises, techniques and different courses. Feedback, statistics and progress are accurate. Worth it.
