Remove the terrible auto refresh feature
The newish feature that automatically refreshes the app is extremely annoying. I want to come back to the thread I was on, but slightly touch the bottom of the screen, and the thread is gone. Super annoying, most anti-user friendly feature I’ve seen added to an app in a long time.
Great for info, but full of bots
These days Reddit is pretty much overrun with bots. I wish Reddit would do more to make sure it’s actual humans posting things.

Hershey Park
I recently took a road trip from south Jersey to Hershey Park on August 24 and it’s a great day usually. However, this visit, there were at least a dozen rides that were out of service, including the monorail for most of the day. I know things break but this seems like an unreasonable amount of rides not functioning during prime vacation season.
If I had a £ for every UI change…
I really dislike the fact that I’m constantly used as a user test case for their AB testing. Reddit communities, the ones that I frequent are always helpful informative and provide the right kind of entertainment when needed. But yes, I see they desperation to milk every cent and penny from the faithful community members. I truly wonder if they are getting the same number of users in the way that they would like compared to the popular Reddit clients that were thriving before the API hike day.
Worth it!
Even if you already have Google on your phone, there are times when you want more than a quick answer—you want to hear from real people who have been there themselves. This app has been really helpful for school, everyday questions, and just talking things through with others. Sometimes getting different perspectives and personal advice makes a bigger difference than simply searching for information.

This usually works fine, but occasionally Reddit releases a new version and things break. Latest bug, you can't mute suggested posts, just says "something went wrong". My feed has more of this spam than subreddit posts I'm actually interested in.

Contrary to its stereotypes, it’s one of the better media apps out there. Instead of following people, who can switch their content on a whim, you join a group where posts stay on the topic the group is about. You like planes? You get a group about planes only. It’s much better to enjoy

Obviously Reddit is helpful, but now I was forced to download the app and make an account as the website doesn’t work on your phone online anymore? Kinda annoying and to me unnecessary but oh well

Latest update(Aug2026) makes for a worse experience
I keep trying to block communities that I am not interested in but they keep getting recommended to me. Most of my time is now spent hiding posts. But the problem is that the same communities keep showing up no matter how much I hide them. It’s very frustrating and I hate the new format. I tried but this is infuriating and I hate it. Please revert to the previous update.
Unsaved posts appearing in the saved section
I have loads of posts that are still there despite unsaving. When I press on them, they display an error message and there is no way to interact/unsave them. Only appears to happen on the iOS app as they are not present on the desktop or web version of Reddit.

Got food poisoning after eating a $225 dinner.
Went to Zama last night before a concert at the Shell. My first time there. Had some oysters, along with some other dishes. I was a little apprehensive about the oysters….but I ate them anyway. Today….I’m sick with food poisoning. I haven’t felt this sick in years! Needless to say, I’ll never eat there again. So let this serve as a warning. Food poisoning sucks! This after a $225 dinner! What a colossal waste of money!

Safari connection
If you are going to lock me out of using Reddit on safari and force me to use the app, it would be nice if what I want to look at would pop up in the app. There’s this wealth of information that I can’t access because one thread takes 20 minutes to find because you won’t transfer. Waste of information. Facebook is way better and transfers to the app just fine.

Mon compte est planté , malgré réinstallation de l’app et suivre «procédure « j’ai déjà un compte » ça en crée systématiquement un nouveau au lieu de me reconnecter .
