Functional, Needs Visual Refresh
Very functional and I prefer NWS point forecasts over other sources. Not the prettiest app though. Needs some polish.
Great weather NASTY ADS!!!
The weather on this app was great! But I had to delete it due to some nasty ads that kept popping up when I was looking at it when my kids were nearby.
Watch Complication
This suffers from the same problem most weather apps do: the watch complication shows last night’s low instead of tonight’s low. I don’t care how cold it got last night. Ugh.
Best weather website
This is the best free weather app available. AND who better to get your weather forecast from? Who? Yeah, that’s right!
Has Porn Ads!
The app itself is good but it’s serving porn ads. Disgusting!
Good app
I don’t really have much to say about the app, it is neat that you can pin anywhere on the map and get a result, but other apps do that also, so nothing revolutionary.
It’s gotten worse
NWS forecasters are statistically worse than the weather channel and even AccuWeather (at least in my area), but I guess that’s not what I’m reviewing here. This app seems to have gotten worse. For some reason, it hides watches and warnings that are active until I click around and then go back to the main forecast page. It shows up in red for a second, but it disappears before you can click on it. That’s a bug and no one is fixing it. Also, when there is an active watch or warning, it does not show the date and time it was issued. The functionality has definitely gone downhill.
No tides in weather and tides
I’m looking for an app that has both weather and tide info. This app tells where tide stations are located but doesn’t give actual tide schedules. Unfortunately, not what I’m looking for

Expected More on Pro Version.
I elected to go to the Non-Ad version, but I am not impressed with the lack of features and settings coming from the free version. The link to the NWS Page does not work. Plus the radar does not zoom in on my region well. It’s either to wide or street level unless you enter your city manually.
Accurate weather forecasts for the most part
I wish I could actually see more than just the forecast and current weather.
Favorite weather app
Love the app hate the ads. Purchased to remove them. Worked great, then ads came back. Why? After brief disappointment it looks like I was able to restore purchase now. Which I’m glad for. There are a lot of other weather apps out there and some have a really fancy UI but this one is tried and true. Still my weather favorite app.

My go to app for daily and hourly weather and technical discussion. But last update broke it. App won’t run at all.

Search Function Not Working Anymore
Have used this app for years. Good ‘ol reliable this app. I mainly use it to read the summary of the weather for the day and do not rely on anything else within the app. The summary is almost always accurate. My currently saved places and current location continue to work. I have been trying to add another place where we will be traveling too and the search function just doesn’t work anymore and a pin doesn’t appear on the map like it used to. If this gets fixed 100% back to five stars.

Not 100% functional
Updated review 10/5 - issue has been fixed! Have had this app for several years and liked it BUT the daily detail stopped refreshing months ago and is stuck on June 18. When I change locations it provides NO hourly data, wind info, etc. Hope they fix this or I’m switching to an app that gives complete data.
Good access to NOAA. I’ve been using it for years
The format is excellent. It tells me the hour by hour forecast, dew point, chance of rain or snow, how much precipitation, sunrise & sunset times, etc. I took 2 years of Meteorology before changing to Engineering. I like the details it gives. The forecasts and radar are wonderful on this App.
Used to love this app
I have been having trouble with this app the last few weeks. It won’t load any of the hourly info that as a farmer I rely heavily on. Have deleted and reloaded still won’t work. This is really the best app out there when it works. Not much help when it doesn’t.

Needs more work
Th iPad Version is great but the iPhone version I can add more than one favorite, does not display weather data for any other places than you 1 favorite.
The BEST
I am blind and use Apple's built-in VoiceOver screen reader. I am also very particular about where I get weather information and I only use NWS forecasts. I first heard about this app in late 2016 and have been using it ever since. The data comes straight from the National Weather Service, which as I mentioned is a 'must' for me. The VoiceOver accessibility of the forecast screen is very good, including support for the hourly NWS info. This really is the best weather app I've used, and I'm so glad it's still going strong after all this time. Keep up the good work!
