Avoid
Use Uber instead. Cars take forever, priced arenβt fixed, random charges from Karwa which donβt align with app. Feedback and complaints ignored.
Good but...
Its a very niice app. However, making it similar to Uber is much convenient, adding various payment method makes it easier for customers, such as bank cards, paypal, or cash. for pick up and drop off, its also better if we can fill the address such as zone number, street number, building number, etc... Make it more like Uber, that way more its more profitable. Once again, good application, but still prefer uber to be honest :)
Started of ok then had issues
I downloaded this app and it worked fine for a few rides and after that I booked a few more rides and then drivers would complete the ride without showing up. Contacting their help but no response. After that I gave up using this app and switched to Uber.
Could be good
Rides are good price, availability is good but the GPS and map on the app is bad. We stay at big hotel in Doha and it cannot find it on the location search.

Airport monopoly
FYI, Karwaβs airport monopoly has taken a new low where you canβt pre book anymore and are forced to head out to the taxi area and take their fancier limos. A 10 min ride could set you 60 qrs π₯²
App needs work
Does the job just about, but nowhere near as good as Uber and others. Too many bugs and sometimes doesnβt work at all

MetroExpress doesnβt work
This app is close to useless, the mapping data is wildly inaccurate meaning that cabs often spend way to long to find you. Worse, and very specifically when using MetroExpress the app will say that there is no drivers available when there are vehicles waiting at the rank. The developer needs firing, sadly customer service on the phone and via email are as hopeless as the app
The app is great, the drivers, not so much
About 2 months ago this was my go to app when it came to transports. However recently a lot of the drivers are rude and require some training. I'm not saying that they're rude in the car, rude as in they will NOT call you if they were not coming. I have booked 3 taxis, all of them drove AWAY without calling me. I was the one who had to call to check if they were coming. The other DID NOT CALL when his car "broke down". I've met some nice drivers, but some are just lacking basic customer service skills. On top of that they refuse to cancel the booking- therefore I get penalised for "excessive cancellations". I'm sorry but I hate being late and waiting 15-20min with no communication from the driver is just rude.
Good app
Good app but location is not accurate. Driver goes to wrong locations followed by chasing them for the ride
Very very poor - many issues and rarely works.
I am forced to use this poor excuse for a taxi company as I work at the airport. I have issues with 2 out of 3 trips I take each time something different. Most of the problems occur with payment, their systems often have issues and I end up wasting 10 minutes at the end of every journey trying every card with each payment machine the driver has. Always carry cash with these clowns. The app will ask to add a payment method and then produce an error with every card you try.
It's ok, room for improvement
Would be good to have the choice of satellite view on the map so you pin point your location more accurately. Waited ten mins for taxi to get the right side of the road.
Finally moving into the 21st century!
The old telephone booking system was a nightmare, the new app is a great step in the right direction, enabling a lot of flexibility! My only suggestions for improving the app would be to allow you to use the map to pinpoint destination, rather than just typing in a place and an "in progress mode" that allows you to track the taxi's progress and eta so you know it's going the right way as the onboard sat Nav in the car sometimes decides to go the wrong way.

just flat out never sends you verification codes via email or SMS. Useless.

Not good - for MetroExpress
The app constantly crashes and rarely finds a suitable service (for DECC and Westbay). When it does find a service it does not book. Its muck quicker to walk then wait fir the MetroExpress
