Love the update on the app I use this quite regularly be better if it was full screen on my iPad as this is what I use most of the time hopefully soon 🙏
Locks you out.
It is a broken app. You can’t access your collection or search to buy anything. It is terrible.
Can’t back out of payment page
Same as the videos page a few months ago, the cancel button on top left of iPhone is not accessible when payment on discogs.com page is shown .. just FYI

Bug to fix
It’s fine, a little clunky here and there, but mostly solid, but not being able to get out of the videos screen without closing the app needs fixing as a priority. I’d also expect to be able to jump from tapping on my seller rating on the start screen to my profile.
App issues
Just A quick heads up to all those who are having issues having to close the app after you have played A video because it won’t return to the menu. Uninstall the app the download it again,it works fine for me after doing it.

Can’t update item in app.
Latest update means I can’t scroll far enough down to get to the save button- possibly because I have extra user fields for items.. please fix!
Broken login
Every time I open the app, they tell me I can’t log in unless I reset my password. I shouldn’t have to reset my password every few months. Don’t know what’s wrong with their website that they can’t get basic login working properly. I used to login thru Facebook SSO but they forced me to switch to email & password… which makes it even weirder that they still have a login with Facebook button on the login page. I think the site might only still work purely by accident.
New Update Format Problem
I love the app and use it daily. However, recently the pop up menu for orders changed. I can’t both scroll down & click show more on iPhone or iPad so I can’t sort by Payment Received to know what to ship.
Vinyl collection
I love this app! I have been a member since 2012, back when I was temporarily out of work. I put my collection on this site then. I have my entire vinyl collection on here as of that date. I’m going to be updating my collection over the next few weeks. I started buying vinyl in the early 1960’s when I was moved by the music of the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and others.
Really Sucks Now
Used to be a great tool. Now it is useless. Updates have made it difficult to view and navigate. Lately tapping on any option/ feature brings up the “unlock the ultimate record collecting experience” screen. Cannot get past this screen as tapping on the x on the upper left doesn’t do anything. Nor does tapping on the gear on the upper right. Currently using an iPhone SE

Was great but recently….
Unable to back out of videos!!! Randomly started a week or so ago. So frustrating as I have to close the app completely, then re open, only to find all my settings have decided to revert to last added rather than label ascending like I usually have it. Does it every time.
Search history has disappeared.
Since the last update the search history has disappeared. This was an important aspect of using the app. Now it’s gone.

Got a ban for making an account?
Well this was very strange, ‘I would like to make an account and i go threw all stuff of confirmation and all , get a verification email, confirm my email, want to log in and get an error that says ‘ my account is pending confirmation’ 2 h later i get a notification that i am Banned? I never even logged in, what a strange app/ site.
Fix the typing issues and it'll be perfect
Every single time I type, if I type faster than normal, it deletes half the word and puts a couple letters on the other side of the line so you have to click and reposition it, deleted the remaining ruins of the word, and keep going, which it does every 10-15 seconds, it is SO annoying, just fix it already
Sloppy design with bugs
I use this app daily and it is so frustrating how little effort they put into UX and reliability. The latest bug is that you cannot exit the screen when you go to a release page and open a YouTube thumbnail, because the button to exit the screen is rendered in an unreachable corner of the iPhone screen. I tried updating everything, re-installing, and restarting the phone. No luck. The ultra common user flow of checking out a track on a release now turns the app useless. Sick
Videos broken
Just randomly over the last couple days I cannot now back out or close any videos I watch from the song links. I have to force close the app. Then go back in and start again after watching any video link. (iPhone 14 pro).
Better, but could use some small fixes
I recently switched from Android, and the redesigned Discogs app is pretty much identical here. My biggest gripe is not being able to tap on an artist and go to their page from a release, particularly on various artist compilations. You can just copy the text and search, which is an improvement from the Android version, but such a small fix would make a big difference in navigating the app. Otherwise, it's great. It's finally almost on par with the website.
Video window
Every time i click on an item to listen to the music video, i have to refresh the app because i can’t even click the X icon anymore it just freezes out of no where.
Almost perfect
It’s great! Only feature missing is the ability to arrange my collection by rating, or filter by rating. It’s also a bit slow. Otherwise great!
My god stop logging me out
This could be a great app, but every few weeks it logs you out and it’s near on impossible to get back in. So frustrating
Great App to Catalog Your Music Collection
Just discovered this app as I’ve gotten back into CD’s recently. It works great for me but a couple of things could be better. After scanning my first CD I discovered there can be many different versions. Some of the descriptions give you a differentiator, but that should be easier or more descriptive. Why can’t I follow/save my favorite artists?? That’s all.
Fix IPhone App Bugs!!!
Many pages will not “go back” for example: In cart or on item page in cart, there is no back to main page. No arrow or “X” to tap, it doesn’t swipe away… you’re just stuck there. I’ve had to uninstall & reinstall just to get unstuck. Make sure all pages have exit button or directive of some kind. It’s ridiculous. iPhone 14 pro 18.6.2 should be able to handle any platform functions & your app is the only one w/ problems!
I liked it but…
I’ve been using this app for about 3 years now. I love how it collects the vinyl info and gives you a fair value of it. What I find annoying is the constant need to change my password whenever an update comes out. I just stopped using it and went to another app because of this reason alone.
Very good but a few tweets would help
This is an very good program for managing records. A few minor suggestions: 1. Have option to order collection by artist last name. 2. Have option to ignore “the” in band name. 3. Have default option that only searches versions for one type of media (e.g. just records). I’m not interested in cds. 4. Have default to only searches to buy from one country.
App logs me out all the time
Please fix this it’s so annoying and makes me not even want to use the app at all. I happens at least once a week it feels like.

Unreal. I continually am prompted to log in and searching my collection is a joke. I get frequent search results telling me there is no such artist in my collection when I know good and well I have something by them.

Generally the Discogs app is really good and easy to use. I’ve managed to categorize all my records now, the value of the records is obviously quite confusing as it is such a huge gap between minimum and maximum.. the only slight issue you seem to experience on the mobile app is in the checkout section, if you end up clicking on the wrong record, it takes you right back to the top instead of where you were, still five stars just a shame It doesn’t seem to be half as smooth as if you access it on the desktop
App Is Broken
iOS video player cannot be dismissed. When opening a track/video from a Discogs release page in the iOS app, the video opens in a full-screen player. The × close button is visible but does not respond, and there is no other way to return to the release page. The only workaround is to force-quit the Discogs app and reopen it. Steps to reproduce: Open a release → play a video/track → enter the video player → tap ×. Expected: Player closes and returns to the release. Actual: × does nothing and the user is trapped in the player.
Albums not found
I have some records I cannot find on the site
USED to be brilliant...
This app used to be brilliant, but now it is a sluggish glitchy haphazardly sloppy mess with a fancy a new UI overhaul. It constantly gets confused, freezes or crashes and just leaves you feeling frustrated!! I miss the old app which, whilst lookng outdated, actually worked beautifully. Also the annoying blue feedback button constantly gets in the way!!!
Buggy
So many bugs. Almost unusable but what else am I gonna use? Can’t tap any hyperlinks on any release pages.
Age rating
Amazing app but with the new uk laws myself and many others can’t access it due to its 18+ age rating. Please change the age restrictions to 16+🙏
Recent App Update in 2026 Broke Functions
The new update is so bad that it's nearly impossible to use. You have to click multiple times to go to your copy and edit the information. They made it for shopping app which is not the reason I am using this app. It's to see my collection and update info about the collection I have. Disappointed.

Great app, super irritating “security” features. I promise you, NO ONE is trying to steal my vinyl collection history, meanwhile this app is like Fort Knox. Also suspicious how this app supposedly uses end-to-end encryption but also remembers all my old passwords??? Which suggests there’s a cache of them somewhere. Seriously guys, this makes your app harder to use and something I don’t want to recommend to friends. Get over yourselves and loosen your security standards

Authenticator doesn’t work well
I stopped purchasing from the website because the Authenticator does not allow me to go back on my phone and paste it anywhere. Time keeps running out and it just gets to a point where I’ll just go somewhere else and purchase or not purchase it at all.
Feature missing in recent update
Great app and have been using it for years. However for me, just recently, when I am on a release page I am no longer taken to either the artist or the release when I click on their respective titles. It just opens the image of the album. This is not helpful when trying to compare prices of multiple variants quickly.
V3.0.18 Broken
I’ve gone back to using the safari browser instead of the app. The new update has so many broken links. Try to click on “learn more about this release version” to see more about the record and that doesn’t work. Also the filters, or lack of filters has always bothered me about the app, if they’re going to update it why not add a new feature like this in rather than just making it perform worse.
Frustrating bugs
It’s great to log my music but this version has lots of bugs that make it very very frustrating to use. It locks up on almost every new entry, causing multiple copies and other problems. PLEASE FIX THESE!! - TIA

Fix the settings
Every update is more frustrating than the previous one. Now I can’t save my settings preferences. I don’t want my collection and wantlist sorted by year. I sort by artist and save. Next time I open the app the settings are not saved, it’s back to being sorted by year. It’s a great app when it works, and it used to, but recently it’s like you’re trying really hard to make the most awful user experience possible.

Still has so many missing features. I have, as of now given up and deleted the app. It serves almost zero purpose. Just stick to the desktop site.
