Life changing
Dare completely changed my life and helped me understand my anxiety and panic attacks and helped me recover from them! This app and the Dare book and Dare YouTube channel are essential if you want to truly heal from anxiety and panic! Trust me it works! Take a leap of faith and read the book and use the app it will save your life!!

Short story
I’ve had anxiety and panic attacks for over 20 years. It’s been intense for a period of time, then it gets less intense. Now it’s intensifying again. I’m uncomfortable riding into elevators, airplanes, across bridges, especially narrow bridges worse if the traffic stops on the bridge. I’m afraid to drive on wide highways, and worst if the traffic backs up, my anxiety alerts me and I panic wanting to get off the highway. I seldom drive on the highways, but when I do I’m always with someone who is driving. My anxiety is so bad that I seldom go into the city. I’ve been listening to the Dare app now for over two years and I can say it has helped a little. I’m still not confident driving at certain places, I drive to work and no further than 10 or 15 miles away from home and I always take the back roads. I suffered from traumatic events from a child but it only gets worse. Now I’m going through a divorce and because of that I am always on high alert. My stress levels are through the roof. My greatest fears is driving anxiety, I’m afraid that I might panic when I stop at the traffic light and people will see me panicking. It is very difficult to remember to use the Dare dialogue when I’m going through it. Like I said earlier the Dare exercises help but just a little. I would love to go to one of the Academy classes but can’t afford the $300 not any time soon. I am also practicing breathing exercises but I really need more help. Can anyone recommend anything.
Disappointed
I don’t ever leave reviews but I downloaded this app, thought how amazing. None of the SOS will play, it only plays the panic attack one on the main screen. I get a loading symbol otherwise and I force closed, re downloaded etc. it’s frustrating because an app that that’s for anxiety should work and it’s not working so if I would’ve been having a panic attack that would’ve made it so much worse..

Ich finde die Inhalte sehr gut, jedoch bin ich als deutschsprachiger Nutzer enttäuscht, dass die Daily Dare Einheiten nur in englischer Sprache angeboten werden. Es wäre schön wenn es das in der deutschen Version auch gebe und wenn es nur mit Untertitel ist. Momentan nutze ich eine Übersetzungsapp, um mir die englischen Daily Dare Audios auf deutsch übersetzen zu lassen, was alles andere als komfortabel ist.
Worth it
This app helps . I love the panic relief section. The daily daytime and nighttime talks are updated every day. Great app I definitely feel better and have overcome my anxiety and panic issues. We will all continue to get anxious but with this app and doing research on how to control it I’ve come out on top. I don’t want to live the anxious life ever again
Giving me MORE anxiety
I can’t even get signed in/signed up for this thing…it says I need sysystem or something is this a dead app? Geez, thanks for giving me a bigger headache!

Had a bit of a setback these last few months. Dare has helped to remind me that feelings, sensations etc come and go and the more you accept them, the quicker they disappear into the background again. Still experiencing sensitisation. However, my logical brain knows that this is a byproduct of having felt highly anxious recently and will calm down. Dare is a brilliant App and has helped me enormously, particularly in realising that I’m not alone in how I feel.
Where did the audio go?
So the first time I opened up the app i listened to the beginning audio. Seemed promising. But I closed the app to sleep, and now that I have woken up I do not have access to any of the audio that would help me learn the DARE method or anything. What am I supposed to do??

This app I great and forever will be and has helped me numerous of times and is a great app to get to help you but i would have given it 5 stars but I think the app should be free as some people don’t like to share what they are going though and say a younger person needs an app like this to help them but dose not want to share it with anyone because that can also cause stress people finding out and telling people but yes I think it should be free personally but it is a really great app for what it gives people with out paying too

It needs night mode
I like the app and I especially like the sleep meditations, but in the middle of the night the last thing you need is the screamingly white screen blasting into your eyeballs keeping you awake. Can you please have night mode put on the app so that the screen is dark when we’re looking at it at night?? please and thank you
Excellent tools for anxiety
I recently developed Panic Disorder and panic attacks. Someone in a panic group recommended this app. I use it every day and also bought the workbook. Had a big panic attack at 5am and used these tools to calm myself down instead immediately taking my rescue meds. It’s been a lifesaver! Lots of free tools but I bought the premium subscription to get access to everything. So glad I did!!
Can’t unsubscribe from their emails
Be careful when signing up and don’t use your main email since they will start to send you multiple emails a day with a subscribe button that is not functional. This practice is so uncool.
Wow nice app
It helps me calm down before and after school beacause I have mild anziety but I’m a little bit upset that you have to pay for most of them and my mum and dad DONt like subcritical things but other then that it’s an amazing game well done !!PEACE OUT
Error 401
Last 3-4 months I have been unable to use any feature on the app, every time I open the app it’s gives me the Error 401 message and nothing seems to open or work, I’ve tried updating it and still nothing and yes my phone is also updated. What’s happened to the app it use to be my go to when I’m having a anxiety attack.

Account locked despite paying In full
Having paid my full years subscription and being long term user of Dare, my account has been locked down and I’m unable to access the whole app. I rely on the Daily Dare and daily wind down along with the SOS and emergency help. I’ve messaged 4 times, sent issue to Apple. Com, even raised issue with Dare Founder on instagram but I’ve had absolutely zero response. For an app that is supposed to support your mental al health and anxiety such a poor customer experience. Day 3 without full access and £59.99 out of pocket.

They’re shouldn’t be a subscription because it’s not fair that you have to pay for something you need at certain times

Pretty disappointed that when I bought the book it said free access to the app not part access. Pretty steep monthly price and made it feel too gimmicky to me. I understand everyone needs to be paid but $14/mth is excessive in my opinion. I will try and persevere with the book but this has left a bad taste in my mouth about it all
Truly Amazing!
I discovered this app after experiencing my first panic attack 3 years ago. I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life, but never full blown panic until then. I talked to my doctor and my therapist, bumped up anxiety medication, and hoped for the best. It didn’t work. I downloaded the app in an act of desperation and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself. The DARE method of “riding the wave of anxiety” and learning to work with it instead of against it has helped me so much. I still have panic and anxiety attacks, but spending some time on the app and reminding myself to ride the wave helps them dissipate faster than I ever imagined possible. I absolutely recommend this app and the DARE method to anyone struggling with anxiety. It may not work for everyone, but everyone should at least give it a try.
Causing me anxiety
Immediately upon opening, it’s asking me what I need help with. I have a selection of things of which I can only choose one. Then a pop-up comes up, wanting me to subscribe when I haven’t even explored. The app yet😠😡

Great tools for all issues of anxiety. Steps to get you through flying, driving, insomnia and more. I have it automatically renew every year, so that I never have to go without the support it offers!
Value for money
I downloaded the dare app last October 2024 and paid the full price, however a lot of the helpful parts in the app are locked after paying for the full app for 12 months, I shall not be renewing my 12 months this year due to a lot being blocked, there are other apps I’ve downloaded and they have not blocked certain parts before my 12 months membership is over
Great but I wish free
I wish there were more challenges that are for free because I can't afford to pay as I’m A child and my parents won’t pay for it so I wish that there were more free options in the challenges category as it would help me a lot. I do understand you need to make money but I really do wish that there where at-least 3 options for free instead of one because I really need help with social anxiety and that’s locked for me. But overall great app I love this app i use it every night I use to have a horrible time sleeping terrible anxiety tried therapy for 6 months didn’t really do anything than got anxiety medication and kept getting pushed up (dosage) as they weren't helping and I found this app this app Has changed my life.

Charged £60 for free trial
Unfortunately I was charged £60 for a free trial, even though it clearly said I won’t be charged. I luckily screenshot it before I did it. Apple and Dare refused to refund me, even though I had proof so I had to go to my bank. Be careful, it’s a scam!
Dare
This app is definitely the best I’ve found to help with anxiety. Straight to the point. Well balanced between dealing with anxiety and trying to let it go. I’ve been using it for about six months and I’m glad to say it’s working for me. Unlike other apps it doesn’t keep pushing you into the program. Everything is there when you find it, easy enough you’ll use it.

Dare helped me get my travel life back. The easy, calm steps helped me prevent growing panic of feeling trapped in places where I’d had panic attacks before, on a plane and jet bridge. It guides us to face the anxious thoughts instead of avoid them, which only gives them more power. I keep my subscription to stay in the right frame of mind, no matter what comes along. Terrible Company - Refuses Refunds. It's outrageous that a company claiming to help people with anxiety is this greedy and unhelpful.
Genuinely life changing
I’m the biggest skeptic when it comes to something like an app genuinely helping with mental health. However, during one of the lowest points in my life - overcome with frequent nocturnal panic attacks - I found out about DARE via Reddit and decided to try it out. As always with mental health, if you’re truly committed to getting better, this app can help a lot. I was able to calm myself and de-escalate several panic attacks, as well as re-shape some of my thought patterns. Thank you so much for developing this! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the “track your progress” section doesn’t work and every time I try to see this, I am met with an error message.

changed my life
i downloaded this app during a period of severe anxiety/ panic attacks that really impacted my ability to function. this app allowed me to gain some of my freedom back and has helped me establish coping skills, but i would say the most important thing it's given me is a change in mindset. i view my anxiety differently and i am slowly (with the help of the lessons on the app) rewriting how i experience anxiety. life changing is the best way to describe it. i've still got a ways to go but i can actually participate in my life now. can't recommend this app enough, if i feel panic is overwhelming i just listen to one of the SOS messages and it helps remind me that this will not hurt me and i will get through it. 5 stars.
