Amazing content, user interface is seriously lacking.
I recommended this app for a number of years for the no-frills nature, especially in the content of each module. The latest design updates with busy AI generated art are so cheesy and distracting. I dearly miss the old format with its clean and simple look - even within the affirmation exercises the app has been updated to include too many gamified features for my liking. I have not found a reason to review until today when the app would not let me click on any module (which is already made difficult by the layout when adding/exploring modules/pathways..so confusing) the zen mode is almost good but is weirdly hidden and difficult to find! Bizarre UI these days, BUT the science works, and this is still the only ocd app I would recommend - I just wish it was a recommendation without so many strings attached.
Walk back changes?
I’ve been a happy subscriber for some years. But the changes over the last few months are too much - the visuals and use of AI are overwhelming. Is there a way to get back the sound effects when taking actions at least?
Doesn’t seem to help
I’m confused by this app. All I’m doing is “learning” what a positive thought is vs a negative thought. I know what the differences are, but I need to learn how to use them in practice. Maybe my OCD is too much for the app? Today’s session started out with “The past two days we’ve understood the reasons we engage in our stories.” No we didn’t. We literally just swiped left or right on “Is this a good thought or bad thought?” I’m going to keep doing it, but even the free trial doesn’t give you anything. I need to learn how to break the loops once I’m in there and to be honest, me sitting thinking “this is a bad thought”, doesn’t actually do anything.
An awesome CBT tool
I love how diverse this app is in covering the full range of OCD subtypes and topics; it truly was the first tool that made me feel seen and validated that my subtype had been studied and developed. I LOVE the exercises, community access, and customizable features of this app and truly am beyond grateful for this platform
New features constantly but never fix functionality
Just gives vibe coding/bad devs. They have repeatedly ignored specific requests for years. Only solution I’ve found is reinstalling an old version of the app. To the majority of people, please don’t waste your time with this app.
Good app bad AI art
The only thing preventing the 5 starts is all the ugly ai art. However the excersizes help to keep me grounded every day and are really easy and manageable.
They change it too much
I used to love this app but they keep changing the design so much it’s super hard to navigate now and the “feed” feels too much like social media, not calming at all. Also ever since they did this design update, all the statements in my toolbox disappeared which is really sad because that was the most helpful part of the app for me over the past couple of years. I’ve now deleted my subscription, which is such a shame because this app used to be so amazing for practicing CBT. Feels like I lost a friend. I wish they’d bring back the old designs. :(
Good App
I have really liked this app, but I keep having trouble with it working. When I start a topic it won’t let me open the activity. The continue button won’t work either. It is disappointing that I cannot access the activities.

….again & again & again!!! Log-ins that do not work & no matter how many emails desperately asking for IT help, only ONLY the head HEAD Man, Guy Ilany, ever EVER got back to me…. (Though that login, unfortunately, did not work- lol- at least he CARES & he is Amazing to do that!!!!!

Buggy
I paid $20 for the monthly subscription and the app is way too buggy to use now, which is frustrating because I really enjoyed the modules but every time I hit continue nothing happens and I can’t progress. Super frustrating.
Once good, now very buggy & commercialised
It’s a great app for OCD and worth trying out with a subscription. However, recently the app had started getting really buggy, to the point that it’s unusable and it’s always trying to sell you something. Developers - please do better.
Sooo life changing
I just finished TMS Therapy for depression and still was struggling. Then I found this app. What a blessing! I find my thinking is on the right track now. I feel like a load of stress and anxiety has lifted. Perhaps the government needs to hire this company to help with depression. We need things like this. It could actually be something worthwhile to invest in! Thank you for changing my life :)

For OCD
This app is honestly a very helpful app to use for someone who suffers either OCD. It explains what you might be facing if you have OCD (intrusive, irrational, unwanted thoughts, images, and urges). It allows you to answer some questions to reflect on the level of OCD you might be experiencing, and how much it affects you on a daily basis. It also provides small videos and an activity each day explaining methods you could prevent those obsessions and compulsions, allowing you to truly reflect and take each day one step at a time, and apply those helpful tools/ tips to your daily life. It is like a form of cognitive behavioral therapy that helps you identify and change those negative and unwanted thoughts/ behaviors after watching the clips and doing the exercise. This allows your mental health and well-being to improve everyday after completing the “lesson” of the day in the app.
Stops working
Lately I haven’t been able to use the app, I used to think it was an excellent tool for helping me manage my symptoms but I have not been able to use it for several weeks - it’s just been stuck on the same module and won’t load.
A bit hokey
Well intentioned app, but many of the exercises lack depth, and have you agreeing with positive phrases like ‘I am unstoppable’. I am not hoping to replace one form of excessive perspective with another equally unworkable one in social environments.

I’m honestly surprised by this app. It has been more helpful that I could imagine or expect. Grateful.
Invalidating
Not really helpful. It forces you to be happy with positive affirmations. It invalidates your feelings and does not resolve your repressed anger.. too bad, I had better expectations..
Issue with billing
I somehow was charged for a free trail and requested a refund. Hopefully it will work out, the app developer seems helpful so I’ll trust it will be resolved. Because of their immediate response I’ll give 4 stars and not use the app

why do you have to pay that's dumb because there are people on here that don't feel comfortable talking to someone so they download this app. AND THEIR BROKE!!! they have trouble with all the things that are locked. with the things unlocked they are not helpful AT ALL. i am deleting this app unless if I do so my review will be deleted too.
Great app, purchasing options — not so much
My free trial expired and I was going to go for a weekly subscription. App offered me another free trial which I thought was nice so I accepted… to only later realise they charged me for a year long subscription for £69.99. It read “free trial” and I just presse buy without even noticing that a “free trial” actually cost £69.99. I can’t find a way to contact the app support. I’d like to move from a yearly plan to a weekly or monthly one please. Other than that it’s a lovely app and I enjoy reframing my thoughts with it. Three stars only for the payment mix up which was very poorly done from the user perspective. Please sort out
The best app for negative thinking
It’s so thoughtfully created. The concepts and games are so intelligent and helpful. The illustrations and animations are beautiful yet simple and not distracting. It’s better than the other apps I’ve used for mental health. I do cbt regularly and this has taught me new things that I didn’t know before. It’s my favorite app ever <3
Mandatory upselling
This is a great app; however, it has changed. Now, even when you pay for. Subscription, you get trapped into pages that force you into scheduling an appointment with a therapist. There is no way to close the pages or go back to home pages. This is a terrible practice, especially in mental health

Not enough
I appreciate the focus on OCD and I can choose specific theme such as ROCD. However, this app is more about self-affirmation. It doesn’t explain well about each statement. The statements were generated by AI which didn’t explain anything. To reply the developer’s comment, the “why” answers were generated by AI. It’s very generic and abstract. Each of explanation was quite similar as they are from the same data pool. It’s not helpful enough.
Ok, but overpriced
This app is mainly focused on a short daily practice of embracing or discarding affirmation statements. The principle feels very basic but I believe it to be an effective supplementary resource to other tools and OCD interventions. I don’t believe it’s worth £70 p/year though & the option of a permanent access is not actually given. There are other apps that offer greater value for less.
Making progress like never before with this app
This app is educational, effective, and cost efficient. I have been in therapy for years for OCD, and never have I made more immediate progress in improving my regular thought patterns than using this app in the past month. The app’s modules have revealed to me how pervasive OCD thinking is in my daily life, and at the same time given me tangible hope that improvement is possible. Unlike therapy, it is so beneficial to be able to use this app every day to reinforce beneficial thought patterns on a structured regular cadence over time. As I use the app I expect to visit my therapist less often and therefore save money. For anyone who thinks they have OCD I would 100% recommend you try this app!
Ads with premium
I paid $80 for a premium membership but I’m getting daily ads for Nocd. It interrupts my exercises and there’s no way to close out of the pop up. Very frustrating. As it is right now, this app is basically unusable.
Good but still needs tweaks
I’ve been using this app for about 2 months now, seems to be working on my anxious mind. I do enjoy using however I can’t commit to purchasing due to all the glitches I encounter. Stopped recording my moods Freezes Crashes randomly If these didn’t occur I would have paid Plesse tweak and I may reconsider
Overrun with AI and visually overwhelming
I’m a longtime user of this app, and downloaded it in 2019. This app was literally a lifesaver before all the AI video content made it unusable to me. I mostly used this app during episodes when I needed support and I liked that I didn’t have to hear anyone’s voice or look at anyone’s face because it can be aggravating and overwhelming. I also liked the simple haptic feedback when you accepted a positive affirmation instead of the empty praise pop up that is really quite distracting when it’s in the middle of the screen. I’m not sure what benefit adding AI visual shorts was supposed to give but I really think you should remove them. This app worked the best when it was simple and straightforward. now I feel like I can’t navigate thought it easily or track my progress. you’ve also made previously free modules restricted to the paid version. I understand this from a business perspective, but I’m frustrated that what used to be an accessible resource for people who are struggling is now blocked behind a paywall.
Good for life events
Bought the app as I wanted to use this as support thru a traumatic life transition. been using it for 3 months, daily. It helps. It took me a couple of months to tackle certain modules… it’s solid. It just started glitching a couple of weeks ago. The mood tracker doesn’t track the correct dates , skip days, that feature supported in processing this could be comical in an OCD app - except I paid for a year of this which sucks.

My therapist recommended this app and it is helping so much! It’s so simple and not overwhelming, but I really notice it making a difference for me.

The App doesnt even open anymore for me, no matter how many times ive deleted and redownloaded. I even moved to a different phone and it wouldnt open still. Rather unfortunate

Just ehh and mostly just positive psychology
Doesn’t really have much technique or variation. It just gives you positive and negative thoughts to identify in hopes that repetition can alter your perception to challenges of cognitive distortions. As a therapist who is certified in exposure therapy, I was expecting actual exposure therapy or more challenging of thoughts rather than just grouping which thought is positive vs negative. This might be useful for a very beginner level of therapy or for someone with very low insight who isn’t aware of the impact of negative thinking. I believe it’s a bit of false advertising as an OCD app because the gold standard of treatment is ERP and it’s not practiced in this app. Labeling things can be helpful, but only to improve being more optimistic or finding motivation.. not for truly healing OCD or health anxiety. Definitely seems like a stepping stone towards actual therapy but not a replacement or worth $80/ a year in my opinion.

Life changing
I’ve never felt strongly enough about an app to write a review until now, but I will for this one. I’m SO grateful for this app! I go to therapy once every two weeks. My therapist teaches me a CBT skill or two and then I’m left to practice on my own, which may or may not happen. This app is like a daily personal trainer for your mind, and I’ve noticed changes in my thinking even in the first trial week. I’m feeling stronger, more confident and more at peace. Considering the benefits, it’s well worth the money for a premium membership.
What happened?
This app has been primary tool that helped me get my OCD to a manageable spot last year. I genuinely cannot be more thankful for how it has allowed me to get my life positioned the way I’ve been trying on my own for years. But recently, it’s become too buggy to use!! I can’t even use the app more than half the time I try to. I’ve submitted multiple bug reports in app but by now it’s been over a month since I was able to properly complete a module. And I cant lie that it’s having measurable effects on my mental health. I’m about ready to cancel my subscription before it renews and try to find a new tool before it affects me more. I’m really just disappointed more than anything. Regular use is soooo helpful for those who deal with OCD ruminations and intrusive thoughts. It’s irresponsible and disrespectful to your users to leave the app in such a sad state.

So far I really like this app. I’m not sure what it does long term because I am locked at level 15. I wish I had known it was a paid app with only 15 levels free. It’s difficult to say if it is helpful in the long term because 15 levels is not that far. It has been helpful but I’m not sure if it does much beyond the daily sayings or if the “therapy” gets more involved. It seems expensive to pay for after a short free trial without knowing if there are more advanced lessons that can really help. I would have bought it for sure if it was less expensive or if I had more time to try it.
Poorly written prompts , rife with errors.
I have cancelled my free trial. There is no way I will pay over $60 for a year of an app telling me to just think better thoughts over bad ones. Almost every page is rife with spelling and grammar errors. If you want to charge people this much, have the decency to at least clean up your writing. Outrageously silly , I mean really …
Room for improvement
I love the idea of this app. I would suggest proofreading some of the grammar as this would improve overall credibility. I’d also love to be able to choose my “candle lighting statement”.
Game Changer!
I discovered this app about 2 years ago when I realized that I had OCD. It has been absolutely instrumental and crucuial in my mental health journey. If I stop doing this app for a few days I absolutely notice the difference in my thinking and the behaviors. I am so grateful for it!

Not the best so far
I have been using this daily for about 4 days so far. I am currently not subscribed but I’ve been doing the free Anxiety module. I’m Not sure if they’re all like this and I was hoping it would change overtime, but every “lesson” seems to be a broken record of “instead of having these bad thoughts, have these good ones instead!” I don’t see how that would be helpful without any additional action, but every time I use it that seems to be all the “guidance” it gives. Im not sure if this would be helpful for anyone but it certainly isn’t for me, so far.
Loved the levels, the update is okay
The update made it look nicer but it took away so many of the OCD levels. Now, there’s only 7 OCD levels (the first one is an assessment so 6 really) and the rest you need to pay for. They added more levels for depression, body image etc. But I loved this app specifically for OCD. It helped me so much but now I can’t access those levels anymore.
