The notes option is misleading. I thought I could inform the restaurant for topping swaps on there but Mr D said the restaurants don’t need to read it or make the swap if they don’t want to. They should remove the notes option if it’s not used by restaurants.
I wish the delivery people would look at street addresses not the location
It is very frustrating to have drivers call to say they are at the gate but are in the wrong street
Beware their refund system
5 business days to get your money back/refund is mad business. Uber Eats is immediate. Mr D insists on keeping your money in their app. It’s not right.

The delivery service was exceptional, just a few items missing but overall I received my order in less than 30 minutes.
Depends on restaurant
Depending on restaurant this app may be useful or a headache, some restaurants do not bother to look at special instructions which can be a problem when you are allergic to some ingredients. Then we had multiple orders come incorrect or incomplete. This is completely the restaurants fault. Lastly Mr d did slightly lower delivery fee, but in turn added a "service fee" that adjust to your order value. At the end of the day they already up charge you on the items itself and now end up costing even more because of service fees. This should be included with delivery not a separate charge. This is not a reasonable delivery fee anymore.
Shortage of delivery drivers
They do not have a lot of delivery drivers. Too many times only collection. Can’t order from them when it’s cold or rainy.

The driver was professional and did a great job the food we fresh and warm 100/10
PnP Florida’s bad service
Yooh Hayi Shem, everytime when I buy using Mr D i always get wrong orders from PnP florida. I’m even thinking of deleting the app and starting to personally go to the store when I need stuff or switch to other grocery Apps.
Seems stable
App seems stable now and it’s easier to track orders and deliveries now without major delays.
Parsing Error on Restaurants section
I’ve been trying to order a meal for the past few days and I couldn’t, because whenever I click on the Restaurants section the page returns a “Failed to map data to a Decodable object” error. I tried reinstalling the app but it doesn’t get fixed.

Favourites suggestions
We all love Mr D for yeeaaars because of its convenience it creates. Only reason why I put 4 start is because I would like to suggest to add a feature on the app where you can add you favourite restaurants to. A favourites feature. I think that’d be amazing. Other than that, all is great thanks

Tip on drivers
Allows us to rate and tip driver after delivery. I can’t tip for a service that I haven’t received yet. It doesn’t make sense. Anyway, thank you for hiring South Africans ❤️!
Underperforms vs competition
Although generally good Mr D is CONSISTENTLY poor at communicating order notes too vendors. Far too often one’s changes or special requirements are ignored. Also no option for direct delivery. Too often bundled with other peoples orders and food arrives cold. If we are paying R20 extra for delivery we expect the food to arrive fairly warm.
Location showing somewhere else
Location showing somewhere else and if i change to my live address it shows i am far away . Due to this now i cant able to order by cash . Already one order delivey boy cancelled . I am not an SA citizen i dont have card or other payment method only i can use cash for ordering food . Please fix this problem
New version hides delivery notes and full address
Drivers can’t see the delivery notes and full address. Everything shows up before you place order, then disappears once it is placed?

Very disappointing experience with Mr D. I have raised complaints when orders or deliveries were not provided as expected, and instead of addressing the service failures from their partnered restaurants and drivers, Mr D has now deactivated my account due to what they call an “unusual complaints history”. I am the customer paying for the food, delivery and service fees. If the service I paid for is not delivered correctly, I have every right to complain and expect the matter to be resolved. What is especially disappointing is that I was refused compensation and simply told that the decision to deactivate my account is “final”, without properly explaining which complaints were considered problematic or providing evidence to support their decision. Customers should not be penalised for reporting poor service. Extremely disappointed with how Mr D has handled this situation and how little accountability has been taken for the service provided by their restaurant and delivery partners.

I love the App, its awesome. One request, please add a self customizable tip percentage slider bar. I would like to give 15% tip but it is not possible. Only 10% and 20% buttons are options so I always go with the former.
Payment problem
The app is not allowing any kind of card payments , it was working before but it’s not working now . Please rectify it. It’s a nuisance now

Easy to use but could use some improvement
The app is relatively easy to use, however it would be great if you could share the tracking with someone. I live outside of South Africa and place orders for family in South Africa - it is a bit inconvenient to not be able to share the tracking with the person who will actually receive the order.

Order Not Delivered
Order assigned to driver, but never delivered. No tracking of driver, forcing customers to phone to follow up on status of an order. Your system needs to track whether orders are collected before the anticipated delivery time and escalate automatically if it’s not.
The app is inflexible when trying to change the delivery address.
I found the service very good, but unfortunately it registered the wrong delivery address right at the outset, and then the app prohibited me from changing the delivery address to the correct one. This is a flaw in the system he needs to be corrected. Sebastian 😊
Not enough choice
Mr Delivery on the West Rand does not provide enough variety of restaurants! Many of the restaurants are regularly providing poor service be cause there in no competition on the West Rand platform. For example, deliveries from Simple Asia and other Clearwater restaurants. The Asian option on the platform do not offer consistent value form money and quality of menus items.

When I tried to order from Pick ‘n Pay,it didn’t allow me to track my order,it kept saying request timed out.The app frequently resets the things in the cart,which is very annoying.The development team should fix this mess of an app called mr d.
