What people like
- Saves a lot of money
- Easy to use interface
- Lots of popular brand discounts
What they complain about
- App crashes or won't log in
- Discount codes often don't work
- Customer support is slow and unhelpful
- Limited deals for students outside the US
Great
Great discounts from thousands of brands.
Non working codes
Is there any code that works? Dreadful
New email addresses
It is good don’t get me wrong but I did have issues with verifying my school email address as they decided to change it mid year and then the app couldn’t verify with my new email so I had to use my school id card
georgia will be a nuclear power before I use this
I forgot i had it ibsr
Just okay
I’ve been able to find only 2 deal out of maybe 15 I specifically was looking for that works well. Many of the deal are very limiting and have specific requirements that don’t apply to me or one of my other classmates. So most of the things we need discounts on (being a full time student!) we have not been able to get discounts for. Still hoping to find something that is less limiting.
Idk
Very good
M&S discounts
M and S doesn’t have any discount code here where as it directs us here
Better than UNiDAYS
Easier to use
I’m new to this
I don’t know how to use it yet
Meh
There are good deals here, but the app has a lot of room for improvement to be especially helpful. Honestly, you should probably stick with the website, here's why: There's no notification settings, so you either get ads and giveaways and all, or none of it. You can't save or track deals, only companies, so there'sno easy way to plan for later or know when something is expiring soon afaik. Also, a lot of the offers are not exclusive to SB and easy to find on the seller's website (it's still nice to have them here, but some indication would help to not waste time). Offers are not always accurate either, with vague descriptions and qualifications in most and some not usable at all. So, yeah, you can save some money and I'm almost always down for that! But from a design and function perspective, this app is pretty bad.
review
i think is very good and easy to use
Always signing me out
It’s very annoying having to sign back in every time I want to use the app
pretty good
I use unidays too and SB seems to have a lot more offers + I like the format better than unidays I wish there was a list of every brand SB works with so you can decide all the brands you want to follow
Student beans
Terrible. Went on the app to get a discount as a student. App didn’t load and then when it did it wouldn’t let me search anything deleted it today and downloaded it back keeps saying “something went wrong on our end”
Emails
I try to log in. I think you should allow .org emails as long as .edu.
Train lines
Thank you
Makes no sense
What’s wrong with discount codes that you can copy and paste? All the ‘online’ discounts don’t actually work nor are they ever applied at the basket! I have never been able to use any discounts on this app and others like it!
Discount in some items
I purchase on puma.com and sometimes the promo codes only apply to certain items but i think that’s problem with the puma website
Issue logging in no password manager support
Won’t log in Does this loop thing Enter user and password Click login But then nothing and clears the input fields. No errors just blanks Please fix Maybe be add shake to send feedback as faster for customers and users Get let’s the times … support passwords and iCloud Keychain password managers Ughhh
Discounts
I love the deals us students can get. I do wish there was more options for discounts like phone plans, internet, furniture stores

.
loads to offer
student beans it’s an absolute game changer, i’ve saved so much money while using this app and there’s so many of my favourite places on here. it’s perfect when i go and see my friends and get a discount on a bunch of different things.
Verification?
I am a level 3 VTCT student and have been given the right to use student beans. I verified my credentials to begin with student beans and everything worked perfectly, I was verified within a couple hours and then able to use the app. A couple days later I had to verify my student id again, then didn’t hear for a few more days so i verified it on the app a few more times. I heard nothing back so i emailed them. They told me i had repeatedly violated terms and services. I find this to be not true as i had never used any of the discounts given to me from the app, i had only been logged in for 2 days at the most then kicked off. I had only browsed the app a few times. After i was told this i asked the employee i was emailing if they could take this further and i haven’t gotten a reply in over week, even when i followed onto my own email asking for a update. Student beans have terrible customer support and need to check their app and not use AI. I am also in contact with the email so re emailing them is a waste of time. I would like someone to take this matter further.
G good I ok

Bof bof
I love it, but....
I love this app! At first, I was a bit skeptical due to the lack of reviews. But after taking my chances, I was able to save a lot of money on a tablet for school. I just wish there were more stores to shop from in Canada. For example, Boohoo is okay, but what about widely known stores like Nike? Or Adidas? I go to a uniform-required school and nice all-black shoes are surprisingly expensive to come by... What about cheaper skincare stores and better discounts? The 10% discount you offer for YesStyle pales when they charge $40 for shipping alone, regardless of how much you buy. And in-store restaurant discounts? There are none. Spending so much money on breakfast or lunch (depending on the day) takes a real punch at the savings, y’know...? These are just some of the many things we as students need, but struggle so hard to get. Perhaps you could email StudentBeans users monthly surveys to ask us what we as students think could be improved with this app. It’s a great way to gain insight, perspective and attract more students.
so good
love this app so much , so many good deals and offers on everything u can think of!!
It’s scam ‼️
The app is a scam. If you are a UK student this app doesn’t work. Tried multiple times to claim discounts and it is transferring me to the websites but the discounts are fake and do not work on checkouts. Applying the discount on checkouts says “the code has expired” or “the code is not working” which mean it’s scam.
Good

Wouldn’t let me use my email
When I was signing up for the app it said that my school email wasn’t valid even though it is so I couldn’t sign up.
Satisfaite
Réduction sur certain magasin mais manque encore beaucoup de magasin
Amazing app
This app has helped to provide my life with a lot more opportunities and knowledge on the world around me. It has also provided me with the ability to connect and interact with people in real life. I definitely recommend this app for anyone who wants to connect with the world and brands out there!
Stop with the pronoun rubbish
Honestly. Stop it. Some of us don’t want to be involved with this nonsense. You’re singling normal folk out in the name of faux diversity quotas.
Review

Wäre super wenns das auch für Unis in Österreich geben würde :)
Ganz gut
App ist ganz gut aber etwas wenig Auswahl
Amazing Discounts
Very good discounts, been able to eradicate shipping costs and beyond that take off loads of money ontop of that - absolute life saver!
Impossible to log in
It’s a great app, if only I could log in! I keep getting the same error “500 Internal Server Error If you are the administrator of this website, then please read this web application's log file and/or the web server's log file to find out what went wrong.” I have not been able to use the app for weeks, I tried to delete it and download it again but nothing
Best app ever
💵💸💰🤑
Gute App. Aber bricht immer ab.
An sich eine coole App, ich kann sie jedoch nicht verwenden weil sie immer abstürzt sobald ich sie anklicke. (iPhone11)
no local shopping

Nice App and easy to use
False Advertising on Bolt Ride Discount
The advertised “40% off first two Bolt rides” is misleading. If you’re a genuine new Bolt user, Bolt auto-applies its own welcome promo, which blocks the Student Beans code from working at all. Student Beans does not warn users about this, so most new customers will be unable to redeem the offer.
Great Deals
Student Beans has saved me so much money it is insane. I have been able to make my payments to college on time while enjoying the things I love. I am able to get Dunkin and also purchase things I can actually afford through them.
Empty Promises
Generate wrong codes whole time, support said only sorry I shall buy somewhere else thank you very much
