Broken
After waiting 5 years for the update they have not fixed the biggest bug. When you click to read the commentary it is very hard to press the arrow to go back to the Bible text
Content is great but has scrolling bug
The content is excellent especially with the notes by John MacArthur. But has an intermittent scrolling bug while reading the bible. While scrolling any part of the bible, it will sometimes freeze for a moment then jump to Rev 22 at the very end. Any support would be greatly appreciated as this is my favourite bible app

Terrible App
Got the app. Made the account. I then made an in app Purchase. After I made the purchase the app kicked me out then denied I made an account and left me with nothing except the option to buy it again.
A little buggy, but ok overall
The narration is good. And generally it’s a good app. But it does have trouble keeping my place, jumping back sometimes to earlier in the chapter. It also randomly likes to suddenly jump to Rev. 22 no matter which book I am in at the time. No idea why it does that. It would also be great if they add the LSB at some point.
The functions associated with the app are not working.
I am thankful for the study Bible app. However, some functions associated with the app are not working, which then diminishes the usefulness of the app. Two problems: the note making function and the highlighting function. The note making function- it seems that there is a problem with the notes function, the notes are not being saved. More precisely, the app cannot save more than a single note. It can only save one note. So If I make a note on a verse, then when I want make another note on another verse, the prior note gets deleted automatically. Can you help with this? Also the highlight function- it appears I can’t highlight more than one verse in a chapter, because when I make a highlight the first time and then make another highlight, the prior highlight disappears/ get deleted automatically. Can you help with this? I hope the developers can solve these problems.
Keeps crashing
Great to have John’s notes while reading but the app keeps crashing and scrolling to either the end or the beginning of the bible. Is there any fix?
Amazing Grace
It’s handy to use while I listen to any preacher on U-tube or my Grace to you app. Makes studying my LORDS word easy, efficient. There is audible option I use for many reasons. Love this app.
App not working
Hi. I have downloaded the app. Registered but can’t move past the sign in, which takes me to my account but I can’t get into the study Bible at all. HELP

More Highlighters and markup tools
I love this Bible! I love how you can remove verse numbers and footnotes! However, I would like it if there were more highlighter colours than just yellow. I highlight in my other bible apps every prophecy and every fulfilled prophecy, both in different colours. However, I can’t do that in this app because I don’t have different colours to differentiate them. Please add new highlighter colours and other markup tools.

Great App But…
The only thing that I wish the developers would improve with this app concerns highlighting. When you highlight a text, the page automatically jumps from the current page/view to the top of the page or previous chapters. Please fix the app so that when you highlight a verse, the page and view stay fixed and doesn’t jump to previous chapters or to the top of the page.
Fix this bug please
Scrolling to close to the edge makes the app freeze for a second and then jump to genesis 1 or revelations 22. Both chapters are great i can decide for myself if i want to go there. this issue has been bugging my for years surely it can be fixed. Thanks

Daily Bible Readings
I find it very frustrating that in the Daily Bible Readings section that there is no direct link from the scripture verses to the actual scriptures. This is very counter intuitive and I’m surprised this was missed. It doesn’t make sense to go back and forth from the scripture references to the actual bible and then back again to the scripture reference and then repeat two to three more times. The scripture references should just link to the scripture with a forward button to the next scripture to read. Or You can just layout all the scriptures in order on one page so users can just read it all at once.
The bible pure and simple
Grateful for this app. No distractions. It is simply just the word. The resources have been incredibly helpful in my understanding as well as the footnotes included in almost all the verses. It has helped further my knowledge and love for the Word and for God. To Him be the glory. He greatly bless this ministry.
This app was amazing but version 2.08 keeps crashing
If you have an older iPad running on iOS 9.3.5, forget it, crashes and will not work. Developer should allow older version 2.07 be available for those running iOS 9.3.5. I paid for the commentary but now have no access to them. Please help!!!
Love this app, however highlight ability runs out.
I have been using this app for years and I love that I have all of the MacArthur study notes in digital form. However it seems I have reached the max capacity for highlighting text. I highlight a new text and the last thing I highlighted gets un-highlighted, this is frustrating since I use this app as my main Bible. Please fix this.

Good, content, but unacceptable flaws exist. I will revise this review when they are fixed. Also disappointed that notes seem only based on the E.S.V. and would like to see an adaptation for the K.J.V. Included. After all, MANY people use the K.J.V.
Poor adjustability
The app on the iPad malfunctions when in split screen mode. It does not readjust it’s borders and cause texts to get covered being unable to click. One has to move the split screen for the app to realise the mode it is in.
Biblically Sound
I thank God for using the Study Bible app for my everyday devotion and resources for our church need. By God’s grace, I’m continuing to learn more biblically sound teachings from our beloved Pastor John MacArthur through this wonderful tool that God has provided.
Have to Register to Access Settings
Not worth using these bible apps if one has to register to use it. Also, can’t do a search fo4 basic verses.
App is okay, the login system with gty.org is terrible
I tried to purchase the study guide from JM and i reset my password with new password for 3 times and it never accept my new password. Tried on gty.org and same. Not good

Study Bible, great tool
I have found the bible a useful tool and enjoy the daily devotions and love sharing with others. It is such a blessing to appreciate the accurate expository explanation of God’s Word. The examples are so clear and practical and this is so helpful in an age of the Depraved mind.
No ability to look up scripture from devotions.
Most recent update and they still refuse to implement links to scripture from the devotional despite sending assurances they were going to do so. I love the JM Study Bible and will continue to use my paper version and my other apps that link to scripture. C’mon guys, this is not hard to do!
Great app! There is room for improvements though
It’s a great study resource. I would appreciate it if it has some basic note taking features such as highlighting, copy and paste, etc.
Latest update crashing app before startup!
I love the app, but I'm afraid I'm going to be missing out on the new daily devotionals because after this latest update, the app crashes before it even loads up! Please fix soon! :)
A life time of MacArthur’s study notes in one place
Not only a lifetime of commentary, but so much more ... sermons, devotionals, etc. Excellent and comprehensive. I also love how clean the design is. For example, the uncluttered full screen view of bible text!
Problems
I deleted the app then reloaded it. Seems to have fixed the problem with crashing.

It’s a great app but there seems to be a bug
The app is amazing and I love it - however I find that whenever I go to any chapters in the bible scriptures the app takes me back to revelations 21 each time no matter which book or chapter I go to. I think there is a bug somewhere.
