Mostly Good
While the vast majority of my experiences have been perfect, there has been the time or two when I requested a taxi, waved at it from across the street, and have been left alone.
Do not recommand
There is no freaking texi that is near. Genuinely no point of using this app. so useless, riding public transportation is much faster. How can there be no single rider on call.

Want Function of Massages Copy
This is useful app, however we can't copy & paste the message from taxi driver. I hope the function to translate to foreign languages.
Use at your own risk
Does it work and get you a cab, yes. But what it fails to do is actually locate you or assist you with where you are. For example. I’m in Pohang, and I’m trying to get somewhere, i confirm the location it has me set in, but it doesn’t tell you the direction you’re looking until after the cab is called for. It had me on the opposite side of the street from which my driver stopped. It also must not alert or translate to the driver. When i noticed the issue, i immediately informed the driver that we needed to cross the street. Over 18,000 won later, and the driver leaves because we didn’t get in his car in under 30 seconds of his arrival. We recalibrate the app and submit the request again. Same results. I even ran down the street in front of our drivers car to stop him and he just continued. Now I’m down over 36,000 won and still have to request yet another 18,000 won cab. This time we do it from a location that is undeniably where we are located. We still had to race to where the app moved us to in order to make the cab on time. I wouldn’t write if it only happened this one time, but this happened on different shorter trips I’ve taken as well.
Very good app
Once I got used to using this app, I found it very simple and efficient.

Good for foreigners
This app works really well for taxis. I use the k.ride one for foreigners. It’s extremely easy and I’ve had no problem with payments or overcharges. It works well for e-bikes too.
Bike map causes app to freeze
I just bought a bike pass but cannot use it because every time I open the bike map, the app locks up.
Kakao Ripp off
My friend. Booked a kakao for me then discovered it would take 15 minutes then cancelled within one monute and then they charged 5000 won - this is a total ripp off and the authorities should look into it.
They don’t let foreigners use the app
It’s not accesible. Most apps are not foreigner friendly in Korea. Mainland China is more conviene and open than south koreA
공항 버스도 예약할수있으면 좋겠어요 as a future improvement.
overcharge
It took me a while to realize that every time I used the bikes, I was being charged multiple times. I used them about 15 times and ended up with 71 transactions, plus the tax. I always used taxis, and everything was fine until an old guy charged me extra, on top of what the app showed. He charged me twice, and I got so angry because he started saying it was a long way, etc., which it really wasn't; it was only a 10-minute bus ride. But since I'd missed it, I decided to take a taxi. They have no consideration for foreigners; they just kept ripping me off with this app. And while not all the drivers are like that, they're all degenerates, charging extra on top of what the app shows.
Translate app into English
There are many English speaking people in Korea. Please make your applications have the option to language
Navigation directions for driver are unreliable
Navigation directions sometimes seem pretty off. On our most recent ride the driver took a strange route that he blamed on the directions from the app that ended up costing twice as much as the estimates cost. In contrast the driving directions from Kakao map showed a much more straightforward and shorter route.
First time on Kakao T
Like Uber easy to use. Except our first trip we paid more than the pop up price upon arrival. Is this normal?

why not use the different language for the inside map
hope the map can be use english
Terrible user experience and confusing GUI
If I could I would not use kakao T. The option to call a venti cab disappears for no reason and only the option to book in 30 minutes shows up. Cannot easily confirm the address I am going to. Hate this app. Would use UBER or Lyft if possible.
The Long Ride
Be aware that some of taxi drivers (not all) will try and earn more by taking further than the direct route. Be aware of your route when using this app.
How can I switch the app to korean?
How can I switch the app to korean? taxi drivers are ignoring my requests because it displays in English
You have to get this !
Actually taking a cap is not easy in South Korea! That't why you have to get this .. even im a korean it's really useful !
Must have
Easy to use. Works without a glitch. Safe and reliable service.
BEWARE OF SCAMMERS
My friends and myself have used the app, and the drivers always figure out a way to scam you out of so much money. Only giving this a 1 Star review to spread awareness. For my experience, a $40 taxi fare has turned into a $200 taxi fare.
English Names that drivers can’t read
Places that I want to go are showing up in English on my app which is very convenient for me but it also shows up in English for the drivers. Some of the drivers can’t read the English names and it was very hard for me to explain to them where the place is with the language barrier. Is there a way for to have the Korean name of places show up for the drivers?
